I loved the hell out of this place. Called and made a reservation. Got the best seat in the house. The manager was so welcoming to me. My waiter made my night and me laugh my ass off. The staff were polite and entertaining. The show feature to phenomenal divas who were just freaking fabulous. Literally the best night out I’ve had in Cape Town has started at this venue! Honestly amazing show with hilarious drag shows and the best food and such good value for money! The staff are absolutely lovely and so welcoming not to mention the waitors are very easy on the eye! Will definitely be back again with my colleagues for a fun filled night! Would highly recommend!! Had a great night with our friends from the DA. Great entertainment and awesome food. The waiters are friendly, but could use ALOT more training. My coffee was brought to me stone cold without a saucer or a spoon and the wine was opened haphazardly. Other than that a great night.
Brilliant night out. The food is excellent . The cocktails are divine. The entertainment is fabulously funny. The waiters well the waiters are hunks. They are excellent at serving food and drinks polite and sexy. I can't wait to go again.

My sister's bachelorette at Beefcakes Seapoint was a lively and entertaining experience, but there were a few aspects that left room for improvement.
The staff's accommodation of our last-minute reservation, including two extra people than what they had space for, was commendable. We truly appreciated their flexibility, setting the stage for a memorable evening.
Miss Kitty added to the fun atmosphere with her performance, although we couldn't help but feel a bit put off by the constant solicitation for tips throughout the evening. It makes it awkward, especially when it's made known that expected tips are R100's and R200's on-top of what one would normally tip for service. It's kind of tacky. Considering the ticket cost, it would be preferable to pay a bit more for the ticket (Say ~R500) and ensure the performers are fairly compensated without the need for continuous tip requests.
The ticket price of R400 for the Diva Package, which covered the show, a burger, and a cocktail, is very reasonable. The burgers were delicious, and the little bowls of toppings are a good idea and everything was yummy. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the cocktails, including the additional ones we ordered, as they were disappointingly light on alcohol.
The limited selection, absence of normal ciders, and unavailability of frozen and on-tap cocktails were drawbacks. While the cocktail prices were reasonable, the lack of potency left us wanting more.
Despite these 2 drawbacks, the overall experience was enjoyable, thanks to good food, entertaining performances, and accommodating service. Will I be back? Yes, with hopes for an even better experience.
Awesome experience 👏 😎 especially if your having a birthday etc.... show drinks and awesome friendly waiters... it's not about the taking shirts off etc but the whole entire cool vibe. You guys should definitely get a bigger spot.

I think the misconception about this place is that it’s a chance to ogle shirtless, buff waiters. But, the star of the show is undoubtedly the hostess, Miss Kitty De La Renza, who put on an enthralling performance with dazzling costume changes, wig changes, hilarious exchanges with patrons and dance moves that could rival Beyoncé’s. Burgers and chilli poppers were actually quite good. Frozen mojitos too. Body shots are also available for those who want to be a little naughty. Manager is super helpful and friendly, even asking a shirtless waiter to escort us to our Uber during an icy Friday evening. Will return to see the other drag acts. And for the chilli poppers too!
What an amazing place, nice intimate bar/restaurant with the friendliest staff and proper home style burgers. Drink and entertainment was top notch. Can’t wait to go again!

Visiting Beef Cakes (Cape Town) is always a phenomenal experience. You are greeted by a warm welcome before you’ve even stepped through the door. A strict Covid protocol is followed as you enter and from there onwards it’s all about leaving your worries at the door and all letting your hair down.
A vivacious host will seat you and introduce you to your ‘beef cake’ (waiter) for the night. You can expect nothing but the friendliest and most attentive gentlemen serving you for the evening with a smile on their face. You won’t feel more taken care of anywhere else. The show is always professionally tailored to keep you laughing, singing along and having an absolute blast. Expect to see glitzy costume changes, impressive choreography and pure passion for Drag Queen artistry.
Beef cakes Cape Town is truly run well by the team of staff and the manager who put their all into ensuring that you are having a good time. I also have to compliment these gentlemen on ensuring the safety of their guests when leaving. The city has unfortunately become a risky place to enjoy a night out which always makes leaving an establishment a little nerve wrecking but the staff will always ensure that you are safe whilst waiting for your uber/ride – which is really such an impressive and comforting attribute to have.
I love Beef Cakes and would recommend it to absolutely everyone!
