Had the cheapskate burger which was delicious. Buns were nice and fresh and so were the ingredients. The patty was tasty and kinda reminds me of steers burger taste. Which is a good thing coz they have nice tasting burgers. Service was good and waitress was polite.

As this was the second branch of the Jerry's chain I visited I had high expectations. One thing I can commend Jerry's for is their consistency, their food is always on point! I have not had a bad meal at Jerry's. As I tried this branch I expected the burger may taste different as there are different chefs, but it was perfect just the way I remembered it. I have tasted a few of their burger options and they are all delicious! Besides the delicious burger combinations, the Jerry's bun is just one of a kind! Also don't sleep on their waffles, they arre incredible and definitely worth the extra calories!! The setting and decor of this branch in my option isn't as nice as the one in Table View, but it definitely radiates a chilled atmosphere and the music is top notch!

Really great place for a chilled Sunday dinner and drinks. We really enjoyed ourselves and the waitstaff seemed to work as a team so nicely. The only thing I had a problem with was whenever someone came into the restaurant, smoke came in from the outside smoking area. The lighting in our section was also a bit harsh but nothing horrendous. The playlist was incredible creating a lovely relaxed vibe. I ordered the Avo and Kimchi taco and cannot rave about it enough! I think I told every waiter in there that I loved it! Deep fried Avo is amazing and I recommend giving it a try and the Asian slaw sauce with kimchi made it extra delicious. My partner ordered the ribs and wings combo with chips and devoured them as he said they were sooo good. We both shared my side of slaw which had a different/lighter feel to the one in my tacos.

I love Jerry’s. I was MOST happy when they opened in Seapoint. It’s close to home. Convenient. Pure bliss. But tonight I am shocked. At first I was getting angry with the waitresses, because why are they not fast enough, or more attentive? It’s the obvious reason to get angry. But after having so much time watching everything go down I saw the reason for this mess is not the waitresses. The manager on duty (not the lovely short blonde hair lady) tonight was having a fat Jol with his mates. The poor waiters were running their feet off. The chef’s bell ringing non stop, obviously getting supper annoyed. No guest were greeted as they entered. And Mister still catching up with his friends. We waited 20mins before we got our drinks. The girls can’t keep up. I’m convinced that the managers duties is to make sure the shop runs smoothly and to help the waitresses. Not to ignore the endless ringing of the bell. Not at my usual experience hope they fix it fast! I do want to come back here. But I’ll think twice now.

This is a review for your Illovo Johannesburg branch- can’t seem to find them on the app or contact details for head office. Not one person out of our table of five loved their meal and the consensus was that we would be highly unlikely to return. The menu is formulaic. There is literally one vegetarian burger option, which was described as absolutely average. As a chain, you have a lot to learn from a restaurant like Hudson’s. The only saving grace in Illovo were the waiters, who tried their best and whose service was good. Management was unfortunately inexperienced and came across as not willing to accommodate an allergen request. For your sake, I hope you up your game!

We decided to try Jerry's Seapoint as we have just moved to the area and love the one on kloof. I have only ever eaten burgers at the kloof one, but this time we decided to share the wings and the pulled pork taco. Both were delicious, and portions were generous. Service was very friendly, but maybe a little slow considering there were atleast 4 waiters and only 4 tables. Will be back.

This is literally my favorite burger joint in Cape Town. The Jack D burger is heavenly and it's the only thing I order. The reason I give this place a 3.0 is because the service was disgusting. We arrive inside and the waitress at the front is on the phone so we wait to be seated. Once we are seated we wait atleast 10 mins for her to take our order. Another 10 mins for our drinks. Once we receive our food we don't see her again. We see her serving everyone else but she doesn't come to check on us once. We had to call her every time we needed something. I order my second drink with some ice on the side. I leave my table to go outside for a second and when I come back my ice is gone? My partner orders another beer and again we wait about 15 minutes for it to arrive. We finally ask for the bill and she brings us the slip in her hands and it's all wet. No pen no book nothing. But as soon as the bill comes she's quick at our table and I'm assuming waiting for a tip. Nonetheless we tip her. She grabs the bill and walks away. No thank you no goodbye no thanks for coming NOTHING. I am disgusted. Every time I go to Jerry's in Kloof and Obs I get the best service but this was by far the worst service I've ever received.

I absolutely love this place! I have been to the Blouberg, Willowbridge and Gardens branch 🙊 I've had the FAB burger - definitely a winner! This time I decided to be different and ordered the chicken tacos! All I can say is WOW! The tacos were very light, but filled with lots of ingredients. The sweet potato fries wasn't oily and was spiced to perfection! I definitely recommend giving this a go! Also thanks to our waiter being super friendly! There was a kids party and a little girl tied a balloon to his dreadlocks - you rocked it though! 👌🙌

Before I say what I'm going to say, I think it's important that I point out how my pleasant experiences definitely out-number the unpleasant. It is, however, unfortunate that my burger last weekend fell into the latter category. The brioche bun was lightly toasted yet still fresh but that's were the positives ran out. I ordered one of the new extensions to the menu "the Korean". It has cheese bacon and kimchi. Oh and how could I ever forgot that spicy mayo ... so so much of the stuff. The extra crispy bacon I asked for was overlooked and instead I received an extra crispy patty - I certainly would've been able to draw more moisture from a stone. Give me something that tastes good and then things like aesthetics really don't matter - but it is only when you serve something like those vegetables (making up the kimchi) that one starts to realize how they actually look like 🤢. What is more you also start to take note of how your waiter has forgotten your drinks and another time brought you something different. Eventually I just got them myself. The chips might as well have been there for pure aesthetics because they felt and tasted like plastic. Think I've been put off burgers for a while ...

Heard grteat things about Jerrys, some of my friends have even called it the best burger in Cape Town. I enjoyed my visit, we were looking for a place that was open till late and they're open till midnight (though kitchen closes at 10.30). Had the Jerrys burger because when in Rome. The burger was juicy and succulent, a little under seasoned and we hadn't been provided salt and pepper on the table. Sweet potato fries were ok, nothing special. Tasted as frozen from the packet where as a couple of places in cpt make a fresh version. Good service until the staff started packing away around us while we finished up, at 11.30pm. That wasn't a pleasant ending but enjoyed it nonetheless.

I have been to Jerry's a LOT since it opened here and every time it has been a super positive experience. The staff are friendly, attentive and know the menu well. You cannot go wrong with their burgers and the presentation of the food. - My favourites are the Fab and the Afterburner, paired with their very solid trademark beer, the Anchorage. - The starters are great for sharing like the onion rings and cheese bombs! - For the guys, the Monster is a top pick if you want to fulfil an Epic Meal Time fantasy. I am keen to try out their hotdogs one day but the burgers call to me.

The burgers here are worth the hype. I dragged my mother along for lunch there since we were in the area. The vibe was okay(cold, windy Sunday afternoon) and the service wasn't too shabby either. She wasn't impressed until the food came. The wings were good and the burgers were even better. In fact, they were so good that I had to go back again a few days after(all the way from Bellville) when I was craving a juicy burger haha. The Long Island Cocktail was also 👌🏽. This is coming from someone who's usually very fussy about cocktails. If you're looking for a cool place to grab a bite at a good price in the Sea Point area, I'd recommend this.

Friday night dinner with a friend at Jerry's in Sea Point was really amazing. The food was great. Try the onion rings, they are really great: well battered and crispy. The service was great, we could take our time and didn't feel at all rushed. At about 9:30pm the place started getting busier with more of a nightlife vibe.

This vibey burger joint is famous for its brioche buns and skinny fries. They have a great selection of burgers to choose from with as well as ribs, hot dogs and other niblets. Their beer battered onion rings are delicious and crispy and they are definitely not shy on the portion. We opted for the Jerry burger topped with swiss cheese, rocket and carmelised onions. The patty was flavourful topped with a smokey bbq basting. The rest of the burger is delicious with a combination of flavours that brings all the flavours together. A great burger joint with a great selection of items to choose from and service is sleek.

As we are quite impressed with Jerry's as a whole, we decided to take a few of our American friends here, to try out their infamous burgers. It started off well, super friendly waitress, drinks flowing, frequent check ups. Until we made our food order. Across the board there were a few Cheapskate burgers, a Sloth, two whoop whoops, and chorizo croquettes and fries. We waited and waited, watching tables receive food that were ordered WAY after us. Eventually, after about 45minutes, I got up and went to ask the manager where our food was. After giving me attitude, he said he'll come speak to me. He then summoned the food/pass manager to come apologize, where we were told the kitchen is short staffed and service is running very slowly. And about two minutes after that, our food miraculously appeared. Even though the food tasted great, the lack of transparency and slow service is what sticks in myind. Note to staff- communicate with your patrons!

If you are able to get out of work and hang out a bit before you go elsewhere, this is the place. They have beat the traffic deals which are so reasonable and the atmosphere is fun and light. You can order any cocktail half price, certain wines and beers are also half price. The mojito is great and strong ;) Food wise they have an option of three sliders (each different flavours) for R35, crumbed mushrooms with blue cheese sauce, chili poppers and a couple of other things. The regular menu is also good, I would opt for a nice burger, they are experts at these. The Seapoint branch is fairly new so their staff consists of quite some new waitrons, but they all seem to pick it up quickly. Definitely a win for this side of town, for years I have seen restaurants come and go on this corner but I expect this one to stay.

Hence we tried out this branch in sea point, and I must say i prefer the original in Gardens but it's still decent. we sat at the bar overlooking the main road and lions head while enjoying some drinks and nibbles. There's been so much hype around this burger franchise and ever since they've opened, there always seems to be a large crowd. Even on a Thursday night there was hardly a table available for the steady stream of arrivals. The manageress and her clutch of fresh faced waitresses seemed to cope ok-ish. The young girl who served us seemed very chuffed and eager at first (is it her first job ever?) but either got tired or distracted when we wanted to settle our bill. Everyone has to start somewhere. Back to the franchise. Top marks for layout, branding and authentic decor: wooden floors, recognisable movie character or fifties retro hula girls printed against pillars and panels. Food fell short of our expectations. G's Fab had a big bun, average burger pattie and chips. No wow at R95. My Drunken Chicken Burger had an interesting, enjoyable taste. At R65 it's served on a bun. Anything else is charged as an extra. So I ordered a side serving of Onion Rings. So, so disappointing! Though crispy on the outside, they were not just drenched in oil, it dripped off. Despite all Prof Noakes' advocacy, it didn't satisfy me, in fact, it left me feeling rather queasy. In the end we felt out of sorts and out of place. We'll return only with much coercing.

Been 6 or so times. Enjoy the burgers and service good but they have been out of CBC pilsener for far too long! Also on Monday night they had both the TV volume on and the "foreground" music which meant our group could not talk to each other. Happy to keep an eye on the soccer but keep the volume off or at least one of the audios. Appeals fell on deaf ears. They seem to have an identity problem. Burger joint? Local Pub? Sports Bar? Dinner venue?

Jerry's blew us away. What a fantastic restaurant and bar! There are plenty of inside seating areas and private booths. There is seating on the deck as well as bar seating overlooking the bustling main road. Wherever you sit; be prepared to be wowed once you get you food. We had icy beers to cool the heat of the day. Prefering a selection of tapas to main meals we had: 🔽Smokey bbq chicken wings - so crispy & flavourful wirh a side of shoestring fries 🔽Mini corndogs - light & tasty batter; delicious frankie 🔽Cheese bombs - creamy cheddar, mozzarella & feta deep fried in phyllo pastry 🔽Popper bombs - mixed cheese, onion, jalapeños with sriracha mayo (incredible) Portions are excellent and each comes with a sauce. Some of the tapas are half price between 4 and 6. Their menu is large and their burgers are named after the Biblical seven deadly sins. We'll be back to try those next time. We enjoyed the sun set while it lit up Lions Head and Signal Hill with a corner of Table mountain peeping through. BigJoe

So Jerry's has become the new local hangout spot in Sea point. The food never disappoints, portions are always great and there are some great rush hour specials. The bar service is great I must say compared to the waitering staff. (Service is sooo slow when you're at a table) so we stick to the bar and get served so much faster and better. For a place like this in an area like this, perhaps they need to focus a bit on service, might attract more people. It was a bit frustrating being told to move 4 times from table to table.

A welcome addition to Sea Point's culinary scene. A SouthWestern style burger bar complete with pumping classic rock tunes, reclaimed wooden floors and bar and cast iron barstools. A wide variety of burgers are on offer and they are tasty although the patties are a little on the small size. The ribs too were pretty decent. The service is a bit hit and miss and a little inflexible- e.g. our waitress was reluctant to substite avo for bacon - not a big ask in my view. In summary : great vibe (not ideal for an intimate dinner) and really good burgers but the staff could use some extra training.

It's such a pity that I need to review jerry's so badly as I've always been such a fan at both the obs and kloof one. However, the seapoint one throughly changed my thoughts on the establishment. Service levels were dismal, where it took over 20 mins to just receive menus on the table and the long wait followed with drinks as well. Despite the service, I was excited for my food as I know how delicious it always is. I was so disappointed. Starters and mains were ordered across the table and nothing was of the quality that I remember jerry's to be. Everything basically tasted like junk food - the burger no better than something you would receive at a fast food joint and all the starters that had batter was so oily I actually felt sick. Unfortunately I feel like the gourmet burger standard has definitely dropped since the overwhelming expansion of the brand and I can't say I'll be returning to any of them after this.

Been open a couple of weeks now, initial teething issues with staff training and getting to find their feet, however food has certainly not disappointed, great vibe and I think what will set them apart is that there is genuine effort, bar service could become problematic and they need to keep their finger on the pulse. Burger was outstanding although milkshakes were too thick for straws and bar / waitressing service not great at all. Took us 15 minutes to get the attention of a waitress and waited 20 minutes for a glass of water - think it was a matter of being short staffed in a full restaurant. Kitchen service was reasonably fast but gluten free rolls would be welcomed. Newly opened so learning the tricks of the trade will come in due course but otherwise not bad at all.

The Sea Point branch has impressed with their high quality burgers, tasteful presentation, and great location. The ribs starter was incredible - the meat actually falling off the bones. The corn dogs were a great start to the rest of the meal - which, of course, was prepared very well. The only downfall was slightly slower service. Overall, the Sea Point branch has become a worthwhile extension of the rest of their well established brand. I hope this store's quality doesn't fall victim to degradation of quality. An easy 90%.

Same Jerry's flair and fantatsic burgers! Although the service is much to be questioned. It took 30 minutes for the meals to come out the kitchen and the restaurant was half empty... again though food was fantastic! Just know, the vibe here seems to have been tailored to Sea Point, so if you are used to Park Rd and Obs, you're in for a change.

So glad it's in Sea Point now. Awesome menu, just a pity they can't keep up with a half full restaurant. Waited an unusually long time for our burgers.

Amazing food, had the fab burger with extra jalapeño's. Instead of the beef patty opted for the chicken and it was very tasty. Do however think service can be better. Might be a bit overpriced as some of the portions were quite small.
