L O V E this restaurant! They've really made an effort to be unique and stand out. Everything on their menu is plant-based (even though most of the time you can't tell). Their prices are also really good for the amount of food you get. I highly recommend everyone visits here to see how quirky the place is, and to taste the awesome food they make. The staff are also amazing and friendly. It can be a bit of a struggle to find parking, as it is in the city, so if you stay close by maybe try just walking or grabbing an Uber there. It really is one worth planning a visit to!

I really liked this restaurant. Over the last couple of weeks I made an effort to look for vegan restaurants and this is definitely one worth checking out. Lovely open atmosphere and calm setting, great location with ample parking space and clean bathrooms. Food was stunning. Our little boy loved the mac and cheese. This is definitely one for our books and we will go back very soon.

We came for lunch, excited to visit our first fully vegan restaurant in Cape Town - it did not disappoint.
The menu has something to suit all tastes - from Asian flavours to vegan twists on South African dishes.
On our first visit for lunch we had the breakfast burrito and nachos. Both were absolutely delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful - suggesting the burrito to us as one of the best things on the menu. He wasn’t wrong.
We really loved our lunch, so came back a couple of days later for dinner. On this visit we had the tasting plate to start - Home made ‘cream cheese’, carrot ‘salmon’, pickles with delicious bread. For mains we had the bobotie and rice paper rolls. It was great to be able to try an African inspired dish!
Everything was really reasonably priced, especially compared to what we are used to in London.
Happy to see use of bamboo straws, which were also for sale. We even took home some delicious mushroom biltong.

One of my favorite vegan restaurants/cafe's. Their portions are more than generous and always so so yummy. A few things that I've tried thus far: nachos, plant burger, mushroom & cheese burger, hot dog and their dim sum pot stickers (numerous times).

Lovely interior, peaceful setting and great service. Not entirely sold on the food just yet but definitely keen to give it another go. I had the Happy Salmon Burger which had great flavour but the patty was a bit too soft.
They had half price Kombucha on top which was a massive win!

One of my absolute favourite places to eat. The music is great, the prices are good, service is friendly and helpful - I wanted to taste the “bacon” and mushrooms so the waitress helped me to alter my dish. The interior decoration is unpretentious and authentic I adore this place. I ate here twice in two days, I just couldn’t stay away.

The service was friendly & attentive. The 4 of us went not knowing what to expect but we enjoyed the starter combo (suggested by the supervisor). Our mains were yummy! Only I enjoyed the juice. It is an acquired taste but the supervisor again stepped in & made a suggestion of the green juice which all of us liked. He also told us about the Sunday menu they were working on. It sounded delicious! I certainly would like to go back!

I love this vegan place. It has a cosy and intimate feel. The food is tasty and simple. I could easily eat at this place about once a week. The menu options are good. I would have loved a bit more variety in the menu but I guess they are trying to keep the offerings simple.

Went to this place after hiking Lion's Head in the morning and it was just what we needed! Such a good variety of comfort food that's also vegan. We we're all very pleased. The staff were super nice and it was cosy and cute inside too. Definitely check this place out!

I'm not a true vegan but absolutely loved the food here! I tried the tapas sampler (sample of 7 of their dishes) and was impressed by the variety of flavours - using only fresh, raw ingredients. And can you believe their desserts are made of only healthy, natural ingredients too - no sugar! I had the magnum-style ice-cream which was amazing!

I love everything about Raw & Roxy but the absolute highlights are Beatrice and her attention to detail, and the highest quality of ingredients used that arrive as a surprise on your plate because they aren't advertised on the menu. From the most beautiful sunflower shoots I've seen to tatsoi greens. All made with absolute generosity, with everything including side salads loaded with sprouts, avo and a rich and tasty cashew dressing - she should be charging double for the combination of quality and generosity (and unbelievable tastiness!!). An truly authentic healthy dining experience.

great place, well situated, the food is on par with the less spectacular vegan offerings in cape town. the biggest letdown was the owner's attitude, though... absolutely appalling! as a vegan i find it particularly aggravating because these are the kinds of people in a position to make vegans and the vegan lifestyle look bad. do you find it hard to not insult your customers? or to be on the ball with your service? if the answer is "yes", perhaps the food industry is not for you.

This must have been the worst experience ever. Had lunch there recently and the way the owner Beatrice Holst talked to her staff was upsetting. She is a racist and we had to over hear how she told someone “she will never work with African staff as they are all lazy”. Seriously? Is she even from here? This is not how you treat you workers and the fact that we had to hear that was not on...
I will never go back and will not recommend this to anyone. I feel like taking this to News24, thats how upset I left.
