Truly an international experience. Everything you need in one venue. See Cape Town, see South Africa in this unique corner of Africa. Absolutely beautiful views of Table Mountain. Weekends are the best. Great entertainment all around this exquisite jewel. A must-do for all tourist, local or international.

Best Woolworths in South Africa! The views of the harbour are magnificent! They have a butcher on site, always offering samples to taste. They also offer fresh oysters and fresh fish. The sushi chef prepares these amazing platters for events and parties, and the price point is good. Impeccable service! 👌 Love their flowers and they stock some unique homeware gifts! 🎄 🎁 I’m not the biggest makeup wearer but as I passed the Stila makeup counter the lovely sales assistant beckoned me over for a free makeover. She used kitty on my lips and cheeks, a drop of the Illuminator and a little eyeliner and voila I looked and felt like a new woman, but my skin could still breathe. I love how respectful she was of my skin, making sure to disinfect brushes & prevent cross contamination of bacteria 👍 definitely love their health & safety practices. One hundred percent recommend for ladies who love their own skin & want to avoid the feeling being covered in makeup 💄 The kiddies section is near the Table Bay Hotel entrance, so if you’re done checking out at 11am and have some time to spare. I suggest you browse around for a gift for your niece or nephew 🍼

Great location at the waterfront. Super friendly Staff. They have a wide variety of extremely fresh produce. It was a lovely shopping experience. The store is very neat and tidy.

An awesome woolworth located inside V & A Waterfront shopping centre. Very clean and the staff are very helpful. The products are all fresh and freshly cooked food readily available too.

Superb customer service. All the staff in mens suits section very good. Staff steamed my suit. Taryn really went above and beyond and from all the shops I went to today was by a mile the most competent and efficient. Would not have made purchase of 5000zar+ if not for her proactive customer service. Top job Woolworths

V&A Waterfront,Breakwater Boulevard ,Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town I have heard a few negative comments about the cafe but we have been here so many times, myself and my husband as well as my children and have always had a lovely time. The food has been top-notch every time, as well as the soups and cakes. I especially love their Shroom burger with chips and the baked cheesecake and the coconut cake is to die for. It’s alway lovely to get a seat at the window, as the view of the water and the palm trees are just awesome 👌

7 stars. This place is unreal. I never knew about it until today was with friends and we went there. The food is unbelievable and reasonably priced and the view is incredible of table mountain and the harbour. Chicken burger 10/10. Chicken noodle salad 10/10. Friends had toasts with avo and eggs and a different chicken salad. By far the best place to eat at the waterfront. A great experience all round. It is also a nice break from the busy shopping of the waterfront. Or you can try the rip of tourist trap restaurants 😂

Excellent food, service and views at the Woolies Cafe situated on the 3rd level of Woolworths. They have tables and counter tops where you can appreciate the scenic views while enjoying their scrumptious food, all while charging your mobile devices at the strategically placed plug points under the counter.

The girl who’s working in tom ford is awesome! Very helpful and nice, she went through and explained every product for me!

Oily chips, food stood on pass for 15min, eggs cold, sourdough bread hard.

Really love not only the food, but the atmosphere when you walk into the Woolies Café. Five stars because the quality of the food was delicious, the presentation was superb and the service was exceptional 😊 The chips are my personal favorite.

Went on a Saturday evening and it's lovely to see all the city lights from the dimmed cafe. The waiters are friendly, but service can be faster. I waited ten minutes for a piece of cake that only needed to be cut.<br/><br/>The coconut cake was delicious as was the frosted honey-nut latte.
Chiara Oosthuizen
All the other woolworths cafes are great. However, this one had terrible service and very average.<br/>Would recommend they try harder to improve

Woolies cafe is one of my favorites. The waterfront cafe provides a great view over the harbor and makes a perfect food stop in between shopping and errands. The cheese burger is pretty amazing and their selection of wheat free gluten free cakes are cool too! Good value for money and never disappoints!
Joel Paarwater
I had the cupucino and croissant. The coffee was fresh, and the service was fantastic as I've come to expect from the Woolworths chain. This is a great branche and Id recommended it to all coffee enthusiasts!

You can never really go wrong with W Cafe, it's a really good eatery and WOOLWORTHS has outdone themselves considering they initially started out purely as a clothing store... 😊<br/><br/>Their food is always fresh🍃, and delicious🍴. Well priced and enjoyable with friends and family, esp after a lengthy walk-around at the Mall... (on that note: most of them are in shopping malls 🤔 so if that's not you're thing... then this is not your kind of place) <br/><br/>Always a good option... have a meal or stop by for coffee and some pastries 🍮🍰☕️ . Has healthy options for the health conscious🔋🏂🤺🏊🏾🚴🏾. Not a bad choice if you cant decide on where you want to eat and it’s reasonably priced .

Great view! <br/><br/>Come here on a waitressing break. Service has improved tremendously! <br/><br/>Recommend poached eggs on rye. Reasonable and a good meal.<br/><br/>Frosted latte is also a must! Not too sweet!

Good coffee! But service is so so slow! Nice view but too small and often queues. No official spot in the restaurant for a takeaway coffee making it really awkward.
Nooru Harnekar
I initially popped in because I was craving scones with cream and jam ( theirs are always a winner), however, upon eyeing the crumbed chicken burger I was won over. It was unexpectedly good. Got quick and pleasant service. Great coffee and fresh juices.

ended up ordering from this cafe on my way to drop my mom off at the airport. we didn't have enough time to sit down so had to get a takeaway. we both had the beef burger which was delicious. suggestion: please add the now now hake burger to your cafe menu woolies😋. wonderful view!

I come here all the time because I none that I will get a delicious and quality meal! I had the kale and haloumi bowl and swapped the avo for bacon- I know, what's wrong with me!<br/><br/>It was super tasty and filling! Our waiter was quite slow in getting things to us, and he messes up someone's haloumi order with my food somehow! But otherwise a really delicious meal overlooking the harbour!
Irina
Food is incredible but service is appalling.. <br/>I had to wait 15 minutes until I was able to order something, despite the cafe not being busy at all. I asked for ice, which I only got after asking the third time. The waiters are very slow and show very little interest in working.. on the contrary, the food was prepared fantastically- very flavourful and served nice and hot. Only complaint is that I asked for soft poached eggs and got medium poached eggs- otherwise, the food was good. <br/><br/>I would come back again for the food, but on a day where I have a lot of time to kill as the service isn't too great.

Update: I am no longer mad at this place. It definitely deserves an increased scoring. Ordered the duck and poached egg corn waffle! Yum! Probably the only thing I’d change would be the soy condiment to something sweeter like hoisin. Had it with a green juice, which was really really good! <br/><br/>Wanting something sweet afterwards, but not too stodgy, I had the Nutella filled cruffin! Oh my chocolat! Wow! Highly recommend ordering this. <br/><br/>Even though it was crazy busy (end of month and woolies sale vibes), I got served in under 10min! Amazing! <br/><br/>Kudos to the newish (I haven’t been back in months) manageress on the floor. You can feel the difference in the service levels. <br/><br/>Super tempted by the rest of the menu, and will most certainly be back. <br/><br/>Review 1: I just wanted simple avo on toast. It would've been quicker to go downstairs to the foodhall, purchase the avo and bread, return to the office to toast my bread and then lather the avo on my toast.

Had the soup of the day red pepper perfect on a winters day! <br/>The service is always amazing but today it took awhile for us to get served and for the bill but other than that was a good meal!
Lauren Kim
✔️ Amazing cafe with a great view <br/>✔️ Coffee is always fantastic from Woolworths <br/>✔️ Friendly and efficient staff<br/>✖️ Limited seating <br/>✔️ Had a quick breakfast of scrambled egg on toast - creamy and not overcooked (very tasty)

I'm generally not a fan of places with too open of a layout because I like privacy and it is for this reason that I won't give it too high a rating. The food was good and the service here was exceptional, I wish I remembered our waiter's name because he was just that great. We had so many out of the ordinary requests and he didn't bat a lid whenever we made them. Kudos to him!

Free wifi is a brilliant start. I can get my work done on my laptop with a yummy red latte and fresh bagel or breakfast. Not a fan of the pay per gram vibe but the menu has enough options that I don't even have to consider that. The food is always of a particularly high standard and the price fairly priced for the quality. The staff are efficient and friendly. Definitely a good place to stop while shopping at the V&A.

Always extremely happy with this branch. Love sitting against the window, over looking the V&A and harbour. The staff is also very friendly and the food is good. For some reason, most of the time i have the soup and coffee at this Woolies, always perfect.
Charné
This is my mom's favourite place to go when she's at the waterfront. The coffee is great and we always enjoy looking out over the harbour. The potato cake with musroom was absolutely delicious, and my mom loves their fritters. Well-worth a stop off during a busy day :)
Jessica Stromin
I do love a Woolies Cafe - always great quality food, and their coffee is my favourite!! This time round though I opted for the berry smoothie which was great, not too sweet. The gourmet cheese toast was delicious, served with a little side salad and some yummy pickles. Nice view as well!
Sumendra Chetty
Super efficient service! Always a nice stop while doing some shopping at the v&a . The atmosphere is great with a fantastic view of the waterfront. I love there fresh fruit juice and you simply can't go wrong with any of the meals! Quick, friendly service and tasty products!
KaalFood
Not impressed. Waited 40min for a sandwich. I wanted ciabatta. The waiter came back to confirm that i asked for ciabatta and brought me ray bread🙄
Chiara Esposito
Went for lunch with a friend to Woolies as she was craving a Caesar salad. I am so glad we did! Lunch with a view of the harbour. I had a classic rotisserie chicken salad with avo, greens, cucumber strips and a yummy mayo dressing (and I don't usually do mayo). Woolies chicken is the best and this salad was yum! Just hit the spot. Our waitress was very sweet just a little slow at times but to be honest the good food made up for it.

Woolworths Cafes are really underrated. Even though they get very busy they manage to get drinks and food out fast. Take a seat at the bar and you get treated to an awesome view of the waterfront. Definitely a good choice for coffee or lunch when shopping the waterfront. <br/>
Robin Mahlangu
The greatest part of this experience is probably the view of the dock area which is always slightly more pleasant when a yacht is parked right in front of the cafe which is always a pleasant sight.
Nicol Miller
Such yummy and buttery scones, and always freshly baked. But ive been told 'theyre sold out', more often than not. So if you get your hands on one, you're lucky! Also try their berry, yoghurt, banana and honey smoothie. So tasty ♥. Service is efficient, but waiting for a table is abit of nightmare, especially during peak hours.

Slow Sunday mornings is how I would describe my Woolies Cafe experience. The perfect place for good coffee, scrummy brekkie and great views.<br/><br/>So what did I have on my last adventure? Vanilla cinnamon latte, love it. And as per usual a good 'ol fashioned scramble on toast. Always seems to hit the spot. <br/><br/>The perfect place to have a good start when I don't feel for something heavy and fancy. Try the Cafe first thing in the morning to avoid the rush, it's pretty amazing when it peaceful and quiet.

Always underwhelmed by Woolies Cafe, but other people seem to like it which is why I have been a few times. Service was not the best. My Cesar salad was average, and had a few missing ingredients which they did not tell me upfront was not in stock.  I enjoy the coffee, and this location has a pretty view.

Starving after standing in a line at computicket for nearly 2 hours I needed food really quickly... Headed to Woolies as I was on my way to do shopping anyway. Ordered a ginger lemonade which is always frozen and it's always amazing! Didn't care for much on their menu, I really think they could make a few changes in that regard. Ordered the corn fritters with honey glazed bacon and tomato salsa. The corn fritters were tasty but I found them a little dry. The honey glazed bacon was in no way sweet which to me was a great thing and the salsa perfectly complemented the rest of the dish. Service was a little slow but overall not a terrible experience particularly if you're already in store.

Woolies is great always - I've only had hot drinks at this particular cafe. The hot chocolate and honey nut latte were delicious as usual. The service was a little slow but friendly.

I have been coming here for a while, admittingly, until now, only for their cakes and other bakes (does that count as rhyming?).<br/><br/>Their cheesecakes are creamy and hit the spot but recently I found out their muffins don't, I was disappointed to find out that their apple and cinnamon muffin just isn't appetizing whatsoever, and that Vida E reigns supreme.<br/><br/>Furthermore, I decided to try proper food here for once and was upset to realize that they had no beef replacements on offer for their pork options such as beef sausage instead of pork. I ended up having eggs on toast which really felt alone without some meat :/<br/><br/>The best part about this cafe is that it over looks the Harbour and can serve as a break in between your seasonal clothe shop as its in the actual woolworths store.<br/><br/>Their staff is very friendly and great at what they do, unfortunately I just feel there's nothing that warrants a higher rating.

the better woolworths. theyre always full but if you are lucky enough to get a seat youll see that they have a wide variety of food including burgers, salads, breakfasts eggs etc as well as cakes and sandwiches. their food is consistently good as are their green juices and chai lattes. a must.

I had their berry and fresh basil lemonade which is one of my favorite drinks of all time. This time around it was good but not as good as the one I have at their branch in cavendish. I could taste the basil but the basil punch that I've come to know and love is missing. It was still an amazing drink so please try it if you get a chance.
Nicola Barrett
This is one of my favourite Woolworths cafes. The view over part of the waterfront harbour is incredible and it is the best place to have a coffee. It is very small though so it's not easy to get a table when it's busy.

Solidly good all around for W Cafe at the waterfront. Much much better than Cavendish. My husband and I were so surprised by the stark difference between the two that we decided that we will drive the 20km to the waterfront instead of the 1km to Cavendish for the better service and food. It is smaller in size but we didn't wait too long for a table and we received our food quicker and of a higher standard than their Claremont counterpart. Definitely stop over for a coffee or a quick bite and look at the pretty yachts in the table bay harbour. Don't let the fact that you have to walk through the pj aisle bother too much 😛
Stephanie Louw
I ordered one of the freshly pressed juices that was delicious! I had a scone craving, it was served with freshly whipped cream, butter and delicious jam! They service was good and the waitress very friendly
Natasha Lutz
Just grabbed a quick takeaway coffee on our way home. Service was good and coffee was their usual. I can only review the coffee as we had already eaten somewhere else

The hostess is out-of-this-world amazing. Seated us at a table with most beautiful view! Was always attentive and sooo friendly. Other also incredibly nice. Only "downer" would be the food. Its wasn't that great. Ive been to other WW cafes and quality is definitely better. The food and coffee was also very slow but coffee delish! But the best view ever!

Went for lunch to one of our favorite little spots at the waterfront this week! We like it because there aren't many places in the waterfront where you can just get a sandwich whilst taking a break from shopping :) this time though we were kinda disappointed because my order was messed up when they left the key ingredient off - then when they gave it to me late, it wasn't cooked so had to send back again! Anyway, that aside - awesome view and nice coffee!
Frantisek Pour
Poor service. Had to ask waiter 4 times for our coffees. Coffees eventually arrived after we had finished breakfast and did not match order. The waiter seemed completely unfazed. Could not see any manager to complain to so hav no choice but to write public complaint. Two neighbouring tables also told.us they had problems with service whwn we asked for out coffees the 4th time.

Woolworths is always a good choice, the restaurant overlooks the harbor and it's situated in the back of the store, which is great and avoids the bustle of the store. Their Turkish flat bread is lovely, and flavoursome. It's a must

For a woolworths cafe, I was a little disappointed in this one. While it has quite a beautiful view of the harbour, the food is lacking. For those of you familiar with the Constantia woolworths, you'll know they make absolutely awesome Chicken and Avo baguettes every day. One of the most wonderful things about them, is that they are chocka-block full of chicken, and the bread is just hard enough that it's crispy, but also soft inside. That isn't the story here. There was truly barely any chicken in my baguette:( and it was so overtoasted, that I could barely bite into it. :( Furthermore, the service wasn't up to scratch either. They are either understaffed, or the waiters don't pay attention. Nonetheless, the coffee was great - the highlight of our visit. <br/>

Woolies cafes are a pretty standard good choice if you're in a shopping centre and you need a bite to eat. I love this one because if you're lucky you can get a seat at the countertop and stare out at the gorgeous harbor view while sipping on your coffee. Their food is standard, and you know what you're going to get when you go there. The service at this particular branch can be quite slow, so make like a real Cape Tonian and chill and enjoy watching the seals play in the harbor water.
Jess Styles
My new favourite breakfast is the pan fried mushrooms on toast, delicious basil cream drenched mushrooms on yummy sourdough toast... The coffee is also really great and the view too stunning. Service is slow on occasion but always friendly.
Lundi
Consistency, Consistency and more Consistency. This particular Woolies cafe is quite small, in fact it's tucked away from the obviously known eating places. But one thing is for sure is you will get you favorite food with the same great taste as the last time. Their portions are also good value for your money. The view from the counter is amazing. Service is just as great. Apart from the size of the place which limits you from sharing with a group of friends it's a great meeting cafe⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Linda
Although a lovely small cafe with a beautiful view you easily get mistaken for blending in with the furniture as service is slow, even non-existent at times. They are usually very busy but that shouldn't take away from customer-contact. The food isn't spectacular, the coffee however, good. I wouldn't take it as my first choice at the Waterfront .
Debbie Coulson
Went to this cafe with six people which was just too many! It's small and quite noisy but must have the best view of the harbor with its floor to ceiling window! The food was great- you can be sure of quality at all Woolies cafes ... Best coffee and muffins around .
Mbali Msimang
I actually really wanted to say something nice because I swear by the rotisserie chicken wrap but tried to give the rest of the menu a try today and it was kinda "okay"<br/><br/>But generally have had good (better) experiences sticking to the same food every other time <br/>- breakfast scone<br/>- rotisserie chicken baguette <br/>- red cuppachino
Laura Coulson
Woolworths will never disappoint - you are always guaranteed good food. The coffee is still the best I have tasted.. You might have to wait a while for a seat but that always shows a good restaurant. The one at the waterfront is extra cool because it offers a fabulous view. Pop in if you are ever around
Catherine Kannemeyer
It can be a bit erratic but the views are incredible, and you're protected from the wind.<br/>The burgers here are the best across all the branches in the country, highly recommended.
Jenny Sarah Coulson
What's not to love about Woolworths Cafe? The coffee is ALWAYS amazing (organic!) and the harvest table is consistently good, although a little pricey. I'll often simply order the avo on rye and I've never been disappointed in its presentation and quality. Try the "all green" juice for a pre-breakfast health kick.
