Wonderful experience! Amazing service, great food, and the live music from upstairs created a great vibe! Would definitely go back again for the seafood potjie and salmon.
The seafood platters were so delicious and the service was efficient too! Really glad that they catered for such a large group. I much prefer this branch to the Canal Walk one as the service is on point here, the food never disappoints and the location is unbeatable!

For Muslim couples and family I would really recommend the private room for a party or evens a function. They cater for you very well and you leave with a full tummy that is smiling out the door.

Superb Food! Superb Taste!
My new fave seafood resto! They served fresh seafood. I ordered King prawns, Mussels, Crumbed Prawn tail and my favorite, the Panko Salmon Futomaki, this sushi is superb! I've never expected the taste, it was just so delicious. And of course, always have a room for dessrt! I had to go back the next day and ordered the same Sushi and tried other varieties.
Anyone, visiting to Cape Town, this resto is a must visit. Will definitely be back as soon as I visit Cape Town again.
This is a great place to eat at the Waterfront. I love the sushi and the way they display all the options of the menu is so clever and makes it hard to decide what to get, it all looks so tasty! My husband had the east coast potjie and on a previous occasion the prawn curry, both he really enjoyed. Perfect for a cold wet winters evening.
I went with a friend and I dreaded going as I do not eat sea food, however I found the experience a supreme and a pleasant one at that, a few small items was not from the sea but I was happy with that, beef/chicken burger, Steaks and beef ribs are available, I settled for a beef burger and it was delightful toasted bun offered the correct touch to the tender juicy beef burger, our waiter Peter was amazing! Top notch service I have not been treated in such a good while, you may also charge your phone in a lockable public charging station, the only down side is the distance the toilets are from the seating at the restaurant, and the toilets themselves are prestine. I must say Thank you Peter and V&A branch making a my first Cape Town Fish Market experience an incredible one, I definitely will not hesitate to return
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Cape Town. The fish and chips are phenomenal. Great service. Food is always very fresh. Location is magical with great views. I feel like I have to go here every time I'm in Cape Town. Addictive.
Well priced for a tourist spot and well flavoured. Try the unusual hake stack. It shouldn’t work but does. The fish curry is a slight disappointment but ok for lunch.

A firm favourite at the waterfront, I love sitting outside here. Their fish is fresh and their sushi, although pricey, is quite good. I’ve always experienced friendly service. Their Carona Cocktails (berry/strawberry/passion fruit margarita with a Carona on top) are definitely worth a try!
