Best Burger in Cape Town! Awesome vibe!
Very cool decor and amazing vibe. Service is excellent. Good coffee. Good Food.
One of my absolute favourites in Cape Town. The food is always so good, love the rooibos ice tea, which looks like you drinking alcohol but you are not :D
Some of the best burgers around!
Clarke’s bar was really fun, we enjoyed an amazing beef burger and chicken burger with beer which I thought was great. The beef patty was filled with flavor, it can easily be the best burger I’ve have for the year so far. the staff was friendly and our food arrived quick. Will return soon
Number 2/10: We came upon our second lunch destination by chance (see previous review of Jarryds for context). It was a hellishly hot day and we were only too happy when, not long after being seated, we were brought the most wonderfully refreshing beverages. My friend ordered a Juniper and Rosemary Soda, and I, Edie's Lemonade. In fact, our drinks were so delicious that we ordered seconds - the Hibiscus Lime Soda was his drink of choice, whilst I stuck to the winner lemonade.
For lunch, he ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich without any accompaniments, and I settled on the Zucchini and Beet Burger with fries. He enjoyed the crispy perfection of his chicken fillet and crunchy coleslaw. Since it was my first time ordering a vegetarian burger, I was not sure what to expect, but I am happy to say that it will certainly not be my last! I absolutely loved everything - from the freshly baked roll, to the delightful mixture of my vegetarian patty (which included aubergine, a personal favourite of mine). Overall our food was flavoursome and filling.
With their great vibe and even better food, I will definitely be returning to Clarke's.
Had a late lunch here and unfortunately caught them while the kitchen was closed for an hour. We decided to have drinks and wait for them to reopen the kitchen, which was a good decision! Their soy latte is so good!
Had the vegetarian Sloppy Joe. It was so good! The bun is a flakey buttery croissant-like bun.
People with me had meat options and also enjoyed their meals.
The decor is quirky and creates a good atmosphere.
Staff are very friendly as well.
Had breakfast with a business partner at Clarkes and was pleasantly surprised! Love the variety on the menu and also love how different their menu is. Their Heuvos Rancheros is amaze!
This place has changed my Sunday brunch forever and raised the bar for restaurants all over Cape Town! Let me start by saying ... R25 Mimosas on Sundays. Yes! You heard right! I also had the French toast, Nutella filled croissant with extra bacon. Life. Altered. So much flavor, such imaginative combinations lovely staff and space. I'm hooked!
Amazing food and service with a super cool vibe!
Had an amazing burger with a glass of red wine - definitely recommend for a casual eat and drink!
Clarke’s Bar is one of those cafes that never disappoint. The food is amazing and the vibe is great at any time of the day . The food is great and although small , caters to a range of people.
Friendly environment and efficient service which will make your experience at Clarke’s truly enjoyable . It’s super affordable and open everyday of the week , whether you want breakfast, lunch or supper , Clarke’s Bar is worth the visit . 🙂✨✨✨
Awesome vibe today at Clarke's. my partner and I shared two meals. We ordered the huevous rancheros and the beef burger. The burger was amazing! loved it! the breakfast was small even thought it was under the "big" section, tasty but I would try their sandwiches next time and order the burger again!
Just had to tell someone how amazing these burgers are.. Finally a place that focuses on the patty rather than smothering your burger in sugary sauces.. Homemade pickles and crispy brioche buns for the win!
Trendy vibey and laid back
Went for brunch Christmas Eve and was thoroughly impressed Certainly lived up to expectations
Coffee was excellent
Very busy but the quintessential Cape Town chill spot No Johannesburg testosterone overload
Wonderful brunch cocktails: We had The Bloody Mary - The Bananas ( classic peanut butter and banana smoothie) Freshly squeezes OJ and Clarke’s rooibos iced tea
For brunch we had fried chicken burger with fries, Beef burger with cheese, The egg sandwich ( scrambled eggs, Swiss Chard bacon and avo) and egg omelette- mushrooms, Swiss chard, smoked aubergine, cloud cottage goats cheese, hollandaise and pea shoots
Superb
Such a lovely little nook on Bree! Started off with a punchy espresso to kickstart my experience. Had the classic grilled cheese on white with extra crispy bacon. Super super cheesy and delicious! Washed it down with a hibiscus and gin soda, which I'm told they make their own hibiscus cordial. This drink is great! Different, not your usual gnt, the soda water made it great! If you're a gin addict and a risk taker you won't go wrong ;) also such pleasant waiters the cutest ladies ever!
We used to come here when in a hurry for both breakfast and dinner, our hotel was one block away. The burgers are so tasty and served fresh. We recommend this restaurant.
I really enjoy their burgers, especially the buttery brioche buns. The vibe is relaxed and i sat at the bar which gave me a glimpse into the kitchen. Perfect to feed your hangover. It can get quite full, so i would suggest trying to make a reservation or get stuck in early.
Clarkes is the restaurant that ticks all the boxes for cape town 20-something diners.( they are even eco friendly and removed all straws from their drinks.)
From The staff to the customers, it's like a guess who board for trendy hipster socialites. The food is incredibly well priced and consistent. I've eaten at clarkes at least once a month throughout the year and I've got to say- it gets the abacus award for being the restaurant you can always count on.
I have no complaints from my side. I love the fact that they serve breakfast all day, and allow dogs inside! I really like the setup of Clarke’s and brings such a relaxed vibe 😌
2 for 1 burgers: the veg burger was so great. The bun was beyond any and all expectations and so was the side salad. I ended up consuming just over half of my friend's fries because they were so yummy as well. The kombucha was grand, too. Great ambience and a nice dining experience.
I've been here twice - once for breakfast and another time for lunch. This place is packed over weekends for brunch. Seated at the bar on both occassions, I got an inside look into the mayhem that occurs in the kitchen during this busy period.
The time I went for breakfast, I ordered the hash dish. Although nice, it definitely needed a little more seasoning. When I returned for lunch, I ordered the infamous burger. The burger is really good, but a bit too rich. Slathered in butter, while the brioche bun and cheese also adds to the richness. It's a little too American Diner for my liking...
Rough night before?? One epic hair of the dog beer and hangover breakfast!! BOOM!! 👌🏻
Also really rad vibe for hanging out and chatting over a couple of beers and real quality food ... Lekke staff and overall vibe 🌸
The veg burger and avo on toast were delish! Such a cool vibe. Enjoyed eating amongst the lush greenery. Service a tad slow but the food made up for it.
I like Clarke's a lot, and it's a very popular hangout in Cape Town. I consider myself a Mac and Cheese connoisseur, and unfortunately I wouldn't rate Clarke's Mac and Cheese very highly, but sometimes Mac and Cheese is Mac and Cheese. As a dish it's very oily and there is a LOT of cheese as compared to the amount of pasta. Anyway! The rest of the menu is fantastic. Their soup is incredible and when I went with friends, they had the burgers and loved them. Calvin Duffus especially. Their ambiance is great - comfortable, inviting and very Capetonian. The staff are friendly. We always have a great time there. Also a great place to take your laptop and work. Their interior is stunning and so different, too.
We love this place! Although we've only been here for the double G&T and oyster specials. The oysters are very fresh and the cucumber in the G&T is a nice touch. Very refreshing. They get pretty busy so the service can be a little slow at times but well worth the wait!
Pleasantly surprised by the unique in-house made rolls that Clarke's serves up. Veggie burger is a winner especially when paired with a side salad that's was unexpectedly delicious!
Lovely ambiance, friendly staff and open really early. The food was good, yet my croissant was not the freshest. Nice quirky place to have a morning coffee and read the paper.
Had an exceptional breakfast at Clarke's with a friend of mine yesterday. Simple but warm environment and the decor matches that perfectly. Perfectly complimented with a really great breakfast at very affordable prices.. Definitely going to be back soon!!
I came here a while ago for dinner, I've been before for drinks but never to eat. I had the buttermilk chicken pieces and they were tasty. The drink i had, inverroche gin (my favourite) was amazing. The 2 boys i was with had the 2-4-1 burger special which looked amazing, i wish i had had that instead! Our waitress was good and attentive. I love the decor of this place as well!! Really cool and busy vibe!
I like this restaurant from many point of views. It has a cool and ease feel that makes dining a nice and relaxed experience . Either seating at the counter or at a table. Their soups and burgers are my favorite. Nice bread and nice presentation. The crowd is always young and cool.
I love this place. Music, food and atmosphere is great... what more can one ask for. Oh wait they have cheesy fries with this ridiculously good relish.. Then dessert is this chocolate mud pie explotion that's beyond sinful.. mind blown. A must for everyone who's keen to chill, talk rubbish and have an amazingly tasty meal..
A Perfect breakfast, just the fresh orange juice took a while and only got to the table after I had finished eating. Huge extra area hidden in the back, so don't be deceived by the small appearance from outside. I definitely need to come check it out one evening.
Not the first time I've been here, I've had the awesome tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich( great for dunking), and I've had their baby burger, but today I tried their pulled pork sandwich with kimchi and a few bites of my friends Brisket and cheese sandwich on sourdough and they both were absolutely delicious, especially the Brisket. So much goodness packed into a (not so simple). And the service from our waiter Lukanyo was amazing! Really impressed with the food and attention we received today!
By far the best burger in Cape town......awesome food and value for money!!! Best burger 'bun'. You also have to try the sandwiches.....love and care in the preparation...keep it up Clarke's!!!
I've only ever visited Clarke's on a Tuesday for the two for one burger special so it's always super packed! The burgers are great and the fries come extra crispy. The zucchini and beet burger is my favourite of the two and it goes so well with a hibiscus and gin cocktail (which is a serious must try). They also have a baby burger for R45 if you're just feeling snackish or your wallet is feeling extra light. Clarke's has a really cool vibe and a nice drinks selection. Definitely give it a try the next time you're grabbing dinner with friends!
Super yummy food!!
A bit pricy if you ask me though, R100 for a cheese burger no bacon, 210g however. But suuuper tasty.
Also enjoyed the four cheese macaroni with bacon!! Bit small for me though.
Best buy far was the pie!!! Wow!! Best I've had! Cocktails sounded good, will come back to try sometime.
Waiter was amazing too! Food came quickly!
I had brunch and coffee at Clarke's. I found it really enjoyable. I had scrambled egg and avo on toast and a flat white. Clarke's is very hip and trendy as is the decor and the general vibe of the Cape Town CBD. The restaurant is relatively small which is lovely too.
Clarke's is on of my go to destinations for consistency of great food and an awesome vibe.
The Cheese Burger is not comparable with virtually any other burger in CT and the Diners Drive Through's and Dives type pulled pork and brisket sandwiches are worthy of Guy Fierri "highway to flavourtown" type comments. Simply love it.
If you watch and enjoy DDD then get down to Clarke's and have the CT best.
great place that welcomes everyone ! great staff, great food & drinks!
recommend the Hash Eggs, Bloody Mary and the Pulled Pork Toasty !
the new Pizza Jol in the back is amazing too! :)
Lovely the hipster slash chic slash health bar restaurant. It small and cozy and have a great social vibe. The waiters and managers are friendly and for a busy Sunday lunch the service was swift and good. I had the free range chicken and buttermilk coleslaw sandwich. It's usually comes with avocado however they had non left and they recommended mozzarella with it and it was divine. They are a delicious selection of fresh and healthy juices.
I once came here to finish an essay on a Saturday morning and I didn't have to bother playing my focus enhancing ambient sounds because the noise from the brunch-crowd in Clarke's was almost identical to 'coffeeshop' from noisli.com Check this site out if you work in an open office and want to pretend its raining inside. Or increase productivity. Whatevs. Back to the Clarke's experience...I zoned into my laptop and ordered a mini burger. If you're cool paying more for 1 mini burger than 2 whole burgers (Spur's Monday deal, people), then this is your spot. The mini burger comes with their delicious home-made pickles but I recommend ordering a side of Clarke's kimchi, which is better, because when you're over 30 you start considering your digestion.
I eyed out the White Russian cocktail, but at 50 bux a pop, I'd rather buy a thrift-shop cardigan to try and imitate the Dude. I had a black Americano instead, which was good.
Bonus: Your food is hand delivered by someone who probably knows words like 'hegemony' and took selfies at the FMF protests. UnBonus: You've definitely seen the waitstaff 'morsig' drunk during a first Thursday. Or should that also fall under the 'bonus' category?10/10 for amount of plants.
I'd been meaning to come here for a while so I finally came for breakfast the other day.
I had the 3-egg omelette on sourdough which was rather delicious.
The portion sizes are smaller than they sound, but decent nonetheless.
The flat white I ordered was served at the right temperate with a decent amount of microfoam.
A good experience overall.
Opinions are divided whether Clarke's ranks higher on the hipster scale than P&G. Nonetheless, in the heart of town, they have a cool young vibe going with a decent selection of Cape Town's most favorite meals. Great spot for a breakfast.

This must be some of the best food available in Cape Town. Completely unpretentious and yet absolutely delicious. The menu can satisfy any food craving. If I could always get a table here, I would always be here. Love your work, Clarke's.
Delectable flourless seed bread! I have never tasted so much goodness in one slice of bread.
I always make up my own breakfast consisting of scrambled egg whites, grilled mushrooms, a sausage & flourless seed bread. Not the most exciting I know, somehow they make it mind blowing. Minimal oil and maximum flavor.
My super foodie companion is more adventurous, I usually just steal food off his plate.
He raves about their burgers! The unique bun has a pie pastry type taste. It's amazing!
Their ingredients are always fresh & their meals cooked to perfection. I highly recommend them to anyone that loves a good meal.
Going to Clarke’s feels like coming home, such a laidback atmosphere accompanied by simple, delicious food. I try force my friends to go here every Tuesday straight after work to enjoy Happy Hour (double G&T’s for R27) and proceed with the burger special (2 burgers for the price of one, so basically R45 for a solid meal). The first bite of that burger gets me every time, such juiciness carefully embraced by a delish brioche bun. Don’t even get me started on the chips! You have to understand that I have lived in Netherlands which is the neighbor of Belgium, the greatest chip makers in the world! The Dutch know their chip and this whole slap chip thing is not on in my book. Clarke’s understand civilization and double fries these golden sticks of potato goodness – YES! Even if you are not into the hipster scene, just go for the food. The brunch is also high class with fresh juice, sour dough bread, poached eggs, avo, bacon, the works. Just go… leave…now!
Simple, yet delicious.
The R30 breakfast special which includes two eggs, toast, a coffee or fresh OJ is an ultimate win. I have been to clarks before for a casual beer but the opportunity of breakfast was just too good to turn down.
I look forward to coming back and trying some of the sandwich options soon
Really love the set up of this café as it's quite cosy but still has enough space for privacy and comfort.
The food was great with the stand out being the Huevos Rancheros which is slow cooked black beans in red wine and beer. The omelette was nice and fluffy and the staff were open to changes.
My favorite thing about this place was the service. Our waiter was so friendly and warm and gave the impression of just being a genuinely cool guy.
Would definitely be back here just for the service alone.
Let's be honest, this is the ultimate burger and hangover cure destination in Cape Town. That paired with their fantastic wine list and drinks offerings, everything from craft beers, craft gins, Single Malts, etc. Great all rounder.
Only been here once but had one of the best burgers ever. The deep fried bun was amazing. Good food and good drinks! Nice atmosphere! Would definitely recommend
Clarke's is a perfect breakfast/lunch spot if you like a city cafe. I find eating breakfast at the bar especially appealing, like one would do at a typical diner. Food's real good and won't leave you starving. When it gets real busy you might expect what they call "Cape Town" service, which could get a bit slow. But a lovely cafe.
Popped in for a quick coffee and a bite to eat about 11:30 on Sunday morning. What a place. It looks tiny with people sitting on the sidewalk tables even though it was quite cold. Inside is deceptively spacious and we quickly found a table. The decor is sparse, almost industrial and there are no soft furnishings so it is quite noisy. The place was very full of young trendy people creating an unbelievable vibe. The coffee was fantastic, strong and tasty. I had the smoked mackerel on sour bread toast. It was very well presented and very enjoyable. My breakfast partner had an avo sandwich on sour bread toast, again really good. I really love these fantastic Cape Town hot spots. Will continue to explore them all!
Was here for breakfast last week and enjoyed their eggs on toast special with a perfectly made cup of coffee to get my morning on the go. Friendly service, good food, and plenty of space to visit with friends or to enjoy alone. I'll definitely be back.
Love Clarke's! It's a favourite breakfast joint for a quick, enjoyable start to the day. The staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee is good! I also had the King Green juice (tasty! Also has spirulina which is a plus) the breakfast menu has quite a few options. I enjoyed the egg sandwich (scrambled egg, Swiss chard and avo- I asked them to exclude the bacon) - delicious and satisfying.
Great music! Great coffee and great food... What more do you ask for in a early morning breakie spot. Clarke's has been a go to on my morning for the past 3 months since moving to Cape Town and will continue to be for the foreseeable future.
The place is cute, the staff is super friendly and the service is always quick. Not a fan of their juices and their ice tea is alright but they do make mean sangrias, did someone say "Happy Hour?"
I have been back quit a few times and I've tried their hashbrowns with poached eggs and asparagus which was full of flavour and body. I've also tried their pulled pork sandwich which was tasty (but not the best I've ever had). I used to be obsessed with their Mac and Cheese (despite it being a ridiculously small and overpriced portion) but overtime the quality has deteriorated and recently I've found it to be quite dry, over cooked and bland.

I loved the personalized service. It was full and yet they made our time there memorable. 🙃 Sixolile Timothy good choice babe. Will call again
Thought I wrote a review long ago !
Honestly this place has never disappointed me
The food tastes as good every time
Not so hot on their juice blends... Usually just get an iced tea but the place itself is cute and you'll appreciate the efficient service
It's a limited but creative cafe menu
everything tastes really well prepared
I've introduced a couple of friends to this place as well and they seem to agree with me on it being really yummy.
Personal favorite is the hash egg + haddock
But on Saturday I had the Reuben sandwich and I I have been dreaming about it ever since so that's a definite recommendation.
Try it out.
Trendy Cape Town CBD brunching at its finest! I adore the simplicity of the decor, it looks modern yet homely and feels very refreshing. I want to own everything from their chairs to all the little plants! The vibe is welcoming and the staff are as friendly as Cape Townians get.
Every meal I have had here has been good. They seem to pride themselves on the quality of their ingredients (which reflects in their pricing). The better quality is not something you will notice when eating bacon and eggs but when it comes to their sandwiches and burgers you see the value for money. To top off a good menu their range of drinks is extensive - it even includes some yummy Brunch Cocktails!
I was excited to go to Clarke's and when I finally went it was so much better than expected. The food was absolutely delicious as well as well priced and the aesthetic - what cafe dreams are made of. I would recommend it any day.
A favourite amongst Cape Town hipsters. Clarkes serves up great beer and awesome food - the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a few drinks before sauntering down Bree Street. The cheeseburger is an ultimate favourite.
I finally got back to Clarke's for the burger. Their sourdough buns are apparently from Woodstock bakery ... and they are superb!
The burger pattie tasted great and was cooked to perfection. It comes with cheese but I added bacon and egg because I'd missed breakfast!
The kids went with fries ... freshly cooked, not skinny but not fat ... Just right. I did the side salad (guilt about the egg and bacon?) and was blown away by the seed and nut filled dressing.
Only mark down ... those two poor waitresses ... they run themselves ragged and so don't get to everything. Not their fault, by a tad frustrating.
Really love visiting this spot! It never disappoints food wise and the service is on point. The burgers are delish and worth every bite. Breakfast all day? Yes please!
I've been to Clarkes several times and I've enjoyed every meal. The service is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is small but trendy and homey. My favourite thing about Clarkes is definitely the breakfast - the breakfast menu has something for everyone including a make your own breakfast section.
Most recently we went for dinner and they have a few vegetarian options so that's nice to see. I had the veg burger and it really was good, the patty was one of the best in Cape Town. Also had a mac n cheese on the side which was cheesy and tasty. My sister had the pimms cocktail which was full of fruits and she enjoyed it's freshness.
Overall, will always go back for more. The breakfast and veg burger are great. My friends rate the beef burger as amazing :) My only complaint is that the table arrangement are a bit awkward - either too small or too big and definitely too close together.
Oh Clarke's. You really have been one of my best places to eat, drink and hang out since arriving in CT 2 years ago.
Little did I know a whisky by the bar would become the first of many awesome outings.
Clarke's is great for sundowners, big brunches with hungover friends, a quick lunch and the list goes on. My dad is their number 1 lunch fan, he loves the Rooster Dog (it's awesome) and organic juices (balance you know).
They have a wonderfully diverse menu and great coffee, I haven't tried their famous burgers as I normally go in the day for brunch.
Highlights:
-The All-American dark chocolate "pie" and other desserts that line the counter
- Huervos Rancheros or the Hash Eggs for breakfast
-Open, airy space and variety of seating at the bar, big tables or cosy tables for two
-Greenery!
-Happy Hour: the Pimms jug is ideal for the heat
- Great service every time I have been
Downside:
- Busy = a wait but good food takes time and they're a little, hard working kitchen.
Really good food, amazing vibe and friendly service. They have a variety of fresh juices and breakfast served all day. Took a group for breakfast and everyone enjoyed their meal. They have an early bird breakfast special that is definitely worth a try if you can get there by 8am. One of my favourite places in CT.
G&T, Georgia punch and Maggie's pickled spicy beans. So good! This is or standard catch-up routine. You really can't find beans like these anywhere. The new hibiscus and gin cocktails are pretty great too!
We dined here for a Sunday brekkie, and what a great experience. They have an array of seating - outside on the sidewalk , inside at big social tables, small intimate ones for out in the back courtyard.
The staff here are so cool, and so are the patrons :)
The coffee is Deluxe and it hit the spot! But i have to mention, my cup had a huge chip and crack in it - I'm all for cool hipster crockery, but not broken.
I had the granola brekkie and was fab! Others had the egg sandwich and avo on toast, all great.
However, i had to wait for mine for quite a while, while everyone else had their's - and mine was probably the easiest to make. The hostess and waitress kept apologising and checking when it was ready, so all forgiven :)
They have a load of in-the-week specials, I cant wait to go back to try.
The only thing I'll change is I'll go earlier when not so busy, do yourself a favour and visit :)
Charming outdoor setting, though uncomfortable looking at the white walls inside... Lunch was pretty good, and the best thing were the vegan/vegetarian options and kombucha tea available! I'd love to see a vegan dessert, though I want to try the grapefruit brulèe soon too!

Comments:
Service is inconsistent. But food is always enjoyable, either lunch or dinner!
Had lunch there today.
A Pulled Pork Sarmie and it was great.
Will do back to try other items on the menu and see what the night life has to offer.
Awesome bacon cheeseburger! The bun is made of brioche which makes it extra tasty. They don't take bookings, sometimes they won't even serve you at your table and then close at weird times, like 5pm on a Saturday and 3pm on a Sunday - which is weird because they're basing themselves on an Americana-style diner. Their salads look delicious though I cannot say I have ventured there. The fries are yummy and they make a great sauce (which you have to order as an extra) to go with the fries. Cool vibe, I like the space and mostly friendly staff. Be prepared, it is the definition of hipster.
The cheese burger is completely next level, top 3 in Cape Town! Great vibe, and generally always a killer time. Not as popular as it is for nothing!
My favourite burger in Cape Town, although it's not to everyone's taste. The brioche bun can be a bit greasy for some, but I think it's the piece de resistance. The massive hunk of meat, melted cheese, sweet 'n sour pickle slices and chips that seem to have been fried many times over, all combine to create a simple, yet delicious, burger. Don't bother with the bacon... you don't need it.
Their Tuesday happy hour (2 burgers for the price of 1) is the perfect after work early dinner. Go with a friend, and a burger and a beer will cost well under R100 each. A pretty good deal considering the high quality ingredients.
The service is good too... pleasantly surprising for a place where beards, tattoos, bad jerseys and those stupid t-shirts with the really loose collars abound.
If you look up Cape Town in an encyclopedia, you should see an exterior shot of Clarke's on a warm Sunday afternoon with patrons eating their brunch on the side walk. There is nothing not to love about this place. Great menu, awesome vibe, friendly staff, free wifi! Is it even real?
Nice spot. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. The cortado was excellent. The scrambled eggs on toast + bacon was good. Will definitely go back to try more of the menu.
Perfectly acceptable breakfast and coffee at regular cape town prices (R100 breakfast; R30 coffee).
Seating available outside on pavement; inside in restaurant; and inside in bar area.
Slow, weekday morning - perhaps things liven up later in the day.
Simple yet efficient burger with a thick juicy pattie. Cheese could be stronger. Homemade fries were delicious.
Wow! Super delicious burger. We will definitely come back soon! Many thanks
This is a very popular place to eat, have coffee, hang out and have drinks. The staff are friendly and the food is good. It has been here for quite a long time and has a lot of regulars. The gluten free muffin was great. It is on Bree Street in a great location in Cape Town cbd
Love this spot my favorite for sure. Best burger in town. Also vibe is brilliant look and feel is solid. Not kid friendly but Wi-Fi is great and has good toilets.
One of the best breakfasts we have ever had - the menu is interesting, varied, a creative take on the traditional breakfast. Ingredients were fresh, everything very well prepared and extremely tasty. Feel compelled to work through the menu!! Highly recommend
(Lunch menu starts at 11h00)
one of our go-to breakfast spots, the scrambled eggs and croissant is one of my favourite breakfast options when I feel like a savoury breakfast, if you’re gluten free the flourless nut and seed loaf is a great option
Loved the place. Went there for breakfast but I sure the rest of the menu is as much good.
The huovos rancheros toast was a bit disappointing to my personal taste. The beans lacked any kick and there was no salsa to bring things forward. It was not a bad egg dish but it had nothing to do with huovos rancheros for sure.
The grilled cheese sandwich although simple tasted really good.
The best for me was the croissant french toast. Really gooey and decadent and to top it all off its stuffed with custard and banana. Really really good.
The service and atmosphere where wonderful as well.
Nice place to have your breakfast or brunch they have a quite big menu, staff were friendly, prices were reasonable. Took the avo with lebnh and poached eggs but it wasn’t the best. Place smelled like I’m in the kitchen the whole time, I suggest you sit outside or the in the back there’s an outdoor area as well.
Lovely brunch place with a super friendly staff! We got the cheese sandwich, croissant and some bubbly, great choices and very affordable prices
Pretty good restaurant. Food was alright with nothing particularly spectacular, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Staff was friendly and we were able to sit inside and enjoy good ambiance and company of others. Would recommend!
Great brunch spot. Good coffee, good service.
The waiters were friendly and I enjoyed sitting outside on a winter's morning having breakfast. They cater for any budget which is great. My favorite of the day was their croissants. Yummy and buttery. Crusty and decadent. I love it😍 I will definitely visit again
