Great lunch time vibe, good food, fabulous music and outstanding views of Camps Bay beach from upstairs. Freddy at the bar is great. I enjoyed my steak salad, though a bit more blue cheese would have made it great! Food on costly side but no different from surrounding restaurants.

Hard Rock Cafes do have the ability to crop up in the best of places in the best of forms and the Hard Rock Cafe, Cape Town seems no different. Excellent location, dreamy interiors and a well curated music merchandises makes this cafe an easy entry into any Cape Town itinerary. The staff is amazing so is the food . Don't miss the chance to get up and close to historic musical elements paired up with the best of American food when in Cape Town!

The food was really good and the staff was quite friendly and quick. You can see some parts of the beach from the restaurant but not much if you are on the ground floor. The upstairs sitting area has much better views (from the balcony) and also has a bigger space (excluding the balcony) compared to the ground area.
There is some music art collection, from mics used by famous artists such as Rihanna to guitars used by famous bands.

SUNSET VIBES IN CAMPS BAY :). Late afternoon drinks at the bar with two friends from abroad. What i have to mention is the food we ordered "one night in bangkok" with shrimps, was exceptional and I'm still tasting those flavours in my mouth. The barman Augustine gave me the best chardonnay wine I've had in a long time at a price much cheaper than other restaurants in Cape Town are asking. Prompt friendly service. Exceptional tasting food. It was just a very cheery time to be. I appreciate that I brought my friends who jsut arrived from overseas. thanks everyone.

We always enjoy a Hard Rock Café - food here was amazing however the bathrooms were really dirty and when we wanted to buy some magnets they were all out which was really disappointing. Their merch is also extremely expensive.

The restaurant trading hour starts at 9am. Hard Rock Cafe is part of The Promenade Mall in front of Camps Bay beach.
They also provide kids menu (which are around R50) & kids activity sheet to entertain your kids.
The portion is quite big for the Ribs and it's good. The fruit juice is not a fresh juice.

I've actually never been to a Hard Rock Cafe before. So this was a first time experience.
From what I understand the concept to be, my experience was right on point. All the staff were very polite and helpful, the food was good and the vibe was there.
Really found the paraphernalia on the walls and the eclectic decor very interesting.
All-in-all, it was a worthwhile experience!

Burger was really really tasty! Google suggested Hard Rock for their burger and was definitely not disappointed. R170 is a bit on the pricey side, however the burger was a very decent size - just the bun leave room for improvement! Can definitely recommend the BBQ Bacon Burger!
Steak salad was extremely disappointing however! R180 for maybe 100ish grams of steak, with a full bed of nothing but lettuce and awkwardly large tomato chunks. Seem excessively for that salad. Would not recommend the salads. Not even a cucumber and I think three pieces of red pepper?
Cocktails are always amazing though!

What a view. If you are sitting on the terrace or balcony of the Hard Rock Cafe Cape Town which is located at Camps Bay, you could enjoy one of the best views together with Rock N Roll - good food and tasty cocktails

I love the seating available upstairs which let's you relax and hang out right in the sun while having a cold drink. The menu is very inexpensive (especially compared to other camps bay restaurants). I have to mention the trendy decor with all the rock star memorabilia. Really lovely.

Got to try this world renowned eatery. I had the Atomic burger & chips. The burger has a juicy beef patty, cheese, jalapeño & some delicious spicy tomato dipping sauce. It was sooooooo good. The size of it was also very substantial. Great location of course being right by the beach.

Quite a decent view with music to spice up the ambience. This was a great example of how a summers day should be enjoyed. The pineapple juice, which I see was freshly squeezed l, was refreshing and the burger was pretty juicy and very good.

Great experience, especially as Cape Town had to wait quite some time to get a hard rock (glad we did). True to the name, plays great rock music with a good variety of food and friendly service. I feel it is mostly aimed at tourists and die hard fans who want to buy merch from each outlet. Merchandise, food and drink are all very pricey - yes it is camps bay...but I felt a bit ripped of as the cocktails are not at all as big as they are advertised in the menu. Was a nice one time experience but I would need to save up to go there again.

Large variety of burgers. Tasty and super big. Ribs was a favorite and everyone couldn’t stop linking their fingers. Good milkshakes a must specially for the kids. Interesting memorabilia all over the walls to educate you on the rock and roll days. Rock and Roll music to keep you going.

Went there for dessert and drinks. The service was absolutely great. The dessert was also good, but I found it to be a bit overpriced. I understand this is in Camps Bay, but why am I paying R79 for a slice of cheesecake? I mean it was good, but it's not like it came with gold in it🤦... This is the place for you if you really have money.

Beautiful sunny winters day and perfect for burgers by the beach. We purchased a Hyperli voucher for two legendary Burgers. The burgers were really good and the portions where huge so go hungry! Their service was great! I would probably try their wings next! 😃

Sadly when you make your reservation and inform the waiter that you’re using your voucher they kinda’ don’t give you that “wow” service...well that was NOT OUR EXPERIENCE HERE🎉<br/>The waiter knew from the get go and we were treated like any other regular customer (even though I think we were regular)😉<br/>The food was great, everything we expected and more. <br/>Vibe great, music 🎶 not too loud and service excellent...<br/>Drinks 🍸 great and I took full advantage of the awesome cocktails as I was not the one driving home🙂<br/>Thank you for that local “international” experience 👏<br/>

The vibe is great, music loud and lively as one would expect at any hard rock café, and it's more relaxed than some of the neighboring restaurants which is refreshing. Service was fast and friendly, but the food was quite average unfortunately. I went using a hyperli voucher and I must say I would not have been happy to have paid full price for their legendary burger. It looked great! ..But the quality of the patty was not much different to that of a big Mac to be honest, but I might go again for a milkshake/ cocktail, just to enjoy the vibe, and absolutely beautiful view of the ocean.. Sit upstairs when you go!

A friend recently purchased a meal voucher for the Hard Rock Café and invited me to join her in sharing it. Never having been before, I gladly accepted.<br/><br/>True to its name, the restaurant had me tapping my feet to the rock music they were playing. Their walls are decorated with memorabilia from multiple musicians, which was interesting to look at, not to mention the fact that the restaurant has a fantastic view of Camps Bay beach.<br/><br/>The voucher entitled both of us to an Original Legendary Burger, topped with bacon, cheddar cheese and a golden fried onion ring. Beverages were not included. We both ordered a chocolate brownie milkshake, mine made with chocolate ice-cream and hers with vanilla ice-cream. The burgers were tremendously big, the meat cooked just as we had requested, the chips were crispy perfection and overall, the meal was quite flavoursome, as were the milkshakes.<br/> <br/>However, we were thankful that we were utilising a voucher, since the items on the menu were, in our opinion, otherwise too pricey. Given that I have tasted both a better burger and milkshake elsewhere, and at a more reasonable price, I will not be returning anytime soon.

To all those food lovers, please do not under any circumstances have meals at Hard Rock cafe Clifton, went there hoping to relive our HardRock experience of many decades ago, what a huge disapointment, ordered a rump steak costing R175, the meat was of a third grade quality, rubbery not edible at all, the presentation even worse, check picture. Disgusting.

I visited the Hard Rock Cafe with two friends last week Sunday. It's truly a beautiful, elegant place and I admire how it's decorated. Unfortunately that's where my positivity about this place ends. <br/><br/>Tourist prices firstly, which is fine if your food and drinks are up to scratch, this however, wasn't the case. Situated in Beach Road, the place has a lovely view of the ocean if you manage to secure a balcony seat. It's almost as if you're paying for the view and their decorations. <br/><br/>Their cocktails are small and extremely pricey. It really wasn't worth it at all. I paid R88 for a watered down mango margarita which came in a small glass. My friend ordered the watermelon margarita, which was actually tasty. We then ordered a platter to share which cost R230. This platter came with 6 wings, three chicken strips, half cut open spring rolls (veggie) and some dry, weird looking bruschetta. It simply was not enjoyable. Another friend ordered the loaded bacon and cheese fries which they did not even have. She ordered the other option which was plain fries with parmesan. It looked and tasted horrible with dry pieces of cheese just lumped on the fries. <br/><br/>What a waste of money and a Sunday. Should've rather gone to Mynt or Caprice
