I had an amazing lunch at Den Anker. The breathtaking views of the mountain and waterfront added a delightful touch. The menu showcased a variety of mouthwatering Belgian dishes, and each bite was a culinary delight. The attentive staff and warm atmosphere made our visit truly memorable. Den Anker i
Great atmosphere and setting. Even though Table Mountain was covered in cloud, what a beautiful setting. We did not have a reservation but reception accommodated us. Thanks! Service was excellent 👌. The mussels were absolutely devine. 💯 Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will be back.
Stunning view of harbor and mountains. The food was amazing and the service was great. Definitely warrents another visit next time I am in CT. The pea and tender broccoli stem risotto was fantastic, perfectly cooked through and flavourful.
What a lovely evening. It was our first time. We loved the atmosphere of the place. The food was good with a lovely view of the harbour. Our waiter, Daemon, took good care of us.
Lovely food and attentive service. We had just arrived in Cape Town on Tuesday night and fancied a meal in a relaxed atmosphere. We first headed to another restaurant but looking across the harbour at Den Anker it looked far more active so decided to give it a try. The food is hybrid-French style, w
A really beautiful restaurant at The Waterfront in an ideal position for lovely views of table mountain. The food was delicious and service was great. We were a very large group and the charge was surprisingly cheap so really great value as well.
The restaurant is beautiful and the view even more. We had a starter with steak and a main with Kudu. Both were a bit over cooked. Tasty, but over cooked. The mussles were very close to not fully cooked. Everything else was great. Dessert was more than worth it!
Absolutely order wine with whatever you have for a meal. Burger was great. Tuna was nice. Fries were okay. Wine was the best.
Situated with amazing views, Den Anker, provides a combination of Belgium/Dutch Food with sights of Table Mountain, sea lions and the general harbour. The service and food are well, but the main attraction to sit here and get a drink are the views.
Waltzed in without a reservation and were instantly greeted and helped. Given a table and offered a high chair for our infant. The wine selection is nice, local. Food is as the ticket says, Belgian. Well done, too. Prices aren’t crazy and the location and its surroundings are worth a drink and visit
