Thali - Cape Town Central - Photo album

Fabulous food and fantastic service in the restaurant - my only issue is that I contacted the restaurant via email in the week preceding our visit and to date no one has bothered to respond to my email. It’s a shame as it gives me the impression that customers aren’t valued…but I simply cannot faul
Wow! This place was awesome. Really liked the concept of ordering a menu type e.g meat or veggie and being served lots of delicious dishes. All the food was tasty but The seafood curry was standout! We were so full after but loved the experience. Really recommend trying Thali!
Wow what an amazing experience. Thali is part of the famous Chef’s Warehouse brand/group. It is an Indian restaurant. They have a set menu comprising three courses. All the food was really really good, the flavors and spices were amazing. Service was excellent and prices are reasonable for what you
Really impressive experience. The Indian food served in sharing platters is such a great concept. Fun with a great vibe. The dishes also were excellent, each course perfectly spiced and well balanced, great that the spice levels go up as you progress, so that the next course is equally punchy. Servi
Really nice atmosphere. We ended up having the private room upstairs to ourselves. I think sitting downstairs by the bar could also be fun. Interesting combination of flavors in the dishes. I think you have to be open to it. But I did quite like it. Great cocktails too. Friendly staff.
Thali offers an unforgettable dining experience. The sharing platters for 2 are bursting with delicious and spicy flavours. The service is exceptional, and the ambiance is fantastic. A must-visit if you’re in Cape Town
Had a lovely dinner experience, food was good and staff very friendly.
Great spot if you’re looking for authentic Indian tapas in Cape Town. The portions are big and it’s a lot of food and everything is always delicious. The servers are always so friendly and knowledgeable. This is my 6th time there and will certainly be back again!
What a treat this was. Such a great way to serve dinner. There was so much going on and the flavours / quality shone through. Sometimes places can be a bit gimmicky in their approach and lose sight of the food standards but not here. One of our highlights of Cape Town.
One of the best experiences I ever had this year. This place is really really good. They offer a new take on Indian cuisine in a really smart way. The food is inventive yet served in a classic family style way. The food is super delicious I ended up buying their book.
Ordered the set menu here. The service was incredible. Emma was our hostess. She was really kind to mix the vegetarian and meat menu together to curate a special experience. Personally I found the food to be at times ever so slightly too spiced/spicy for my liking. Overall loved the curries though.
A superb meal, one not to be missed if you're in Cape Town. I especially enjoyed the kashmiri-seared duck and the deep fried squid in the coconut and saffron cream. The thali selection had a wide variety of flavors but they were all harmonious with each other. Don't be afraid to try the patio outsid
Wow, this is one of those remarkable spots where food and artistry weave together. The food is delicious and the courses take one on a journey. Excellent!
Thali Restaurant - Cape Town For lovers of Indian fusion food. This is an unusual restaurant. They have set menus … very Indian but mildly flavoured. You can opt for the meat or vegetarian versions. The food was delicious … a three course meal. Each course served on a thali ( an Indian platter ) …
Absolutely great dinner with the family this evening! Ordered the meat tasting Thali, which was the perfect amount of food for 2 adults and our 2 kids. Excellent flavours in all the dishes, great service, and ambience. Overall a wonderful (and very affordable for fine dining!) experience.
Exceptional service and better dishes. I was amazed with the food and experience. Definitely worth the visit.
We had dinner here and thought it was very tasty, although really spicy! Be prepared for some authentic Indian spiciness! We were a bit disappointed with the service, kinda felt like our waiter was doing the bare minimum whilst we saw others really going out and about for their guests. We always had
Came here from a YouTube video recommended and it was hands down our favourite restaurant in Cape Town. Food and service was exceptional!! I would highly recommend anyone visiting the city to make it a must visit restaurant.
Literally the best Indian food I have ever eaten
