The best burger I've had in my life. We had a burger with a beef patty, lobster and brie cheese and it was delicious. We also arrived in happy hour and we had very nice cocktails as well. A must try for burger lovers!

I’ve been wanting to come here for ages! Love the atmosphere and the service was very friendly and laidback. We started with their 2-for-1 drinks special, which is a pretty good deal - and they did not disappoint! The Mexican cocktail I tried was absolutely amazing - definitely one of the best I’ve had. I went for the normal lobster roll. I loved every bite of my roll - it was absolutely delicious. I was a bit sad about the portion size however, especially for the price - I understand lobster is a premium ingredient, but maybe they could try make the sandwich as a whole more fulling, as I would’ve loved a bit more. As we came for our anniversary, they gave us a very yummy Oreo cheesecake on the house which we thought was a really nice touch! Overall, I loved the ambience, service, drinks and food, just wish the portions were slightly bigger.
Myself and the misses went to B&L after reading reviews of the place..consulted with my sister first as she’s been to most of the hotspots in CBD... all I can say is wow!! Food was soooooo good and the venue impressed! Had the ribs for starters and could have finished 4 portions easily they were that good! Then I tucked into a B&L burger which was equally as good washed down with a couple of beers..definitely give it try next time you around these parts!

But it’s a fantastic restaurant with an awesome vibe and the cocktails really are out of this world good!!

So we came here for dinner last night & would defos come again just to have the B&L burger all to myself! (And get dessert this time!)
Ambience: 5/5. So the set up feels like a long but spacious hallway. The decor is perfect for the vibe: muted dark colors with industrial finishings. There was a crowd outside when we arrived, but once we got in it was still vibey but way calmer. We could have proper conversations, which is always a plus.
Service: 5/5. They were a bit short staffed so the manager waited on us, and if she’s reflection of the staff there then a definite 5/5 is in order! She was absolutely amazing, going through all the menu choices with us, giving drink suggestions, and literally somehow always there when you needed something. Super impressed. Possibly the best service I’ve ever received!
Menu: 4/5. So the printed menu didn’t have all the options - a lot of items were on a charming chalkboard menu which the manager went through with us. A quirky touch, but it might just be easier to have menus with all the items on & leave only the specials for the chalkboard. Because one of the reasons I’d hadn’t visited yet in all my trips to Cape Town was because of the limited menu they have online (literally like 4 food items). Had I known they have all those other options, and kickass dessert options, I definitely would have come sooner. That being said, the extended menu was perfect for a burger bar - sufficient gourmet finger foods, and decent bun options.
Drinks: 5/5. GREAT drink selection! Third cocktail list is inspired - great combos & options. They have a decent gin selection (also not on the menu), and a decent wine selection too. The drinks themselves were delish. I tried two of the cocktails & enjoyed them both.
Food: 4/5. So look, everyone enjoyed their meals immensely but the lobster rolls were underwhelming. Even with the big portion, the “roll” was more one half of a sandwich. Definitely not idea if you are hungry (unless you’re gonna fill up with dessert). The B&L burger though: DELICIOUS!!! In fact all their burgers were amazing - the Hot Mama, the Fried chicken burger looked worth every last calorie. I shared my Lobster roll with my partner & had half of his B&L burger, and even that half was enough to fill me up. The fries are just the most perfect skinny fries you’ve ever had. We didn’t have dessert but those options had my mouth watering. Definitely coming back here again just for them!
Overall: 4/5. Literally the only down points are the menu not having all the food options, and the Lobster roll being more of a snack than a meal. The full menu is actually quite amazing & the food & drinks are worth it. Definitely a place I would recommended & will visit again!

Quite a basic setup, I was expecting more. The bar is the feature point on entrance.
On the food side though, we tried the starters of prawn, lobster phyllo and the jack daniels ribs. Both were delicious. We then shared the lobster roll and upscaled to double the lobster portion. It was served with small salad, fries and a lemon butter sauce. Although delicious it was quite small and if we hadn't doubled the portion of lobster not sure how this would be, at R299(usually R199) , not quite sure its worth it. Probably should have gotten burgers, those looked good and nicely portioned.
B&l never disappoints! We've been here multiple times, mainly over happy hour, and have always been impressed.
Their cocktail and beer selection are very good with a number of very interesting mixes! The Exotic marigold and The most beautiful view are some of our favorites.
Although I have not yet had a main here, their starters are sublime. The lobster and prawn bites are hands down the winners, but the burger bombs are a close second.
A definite must on Bree Street.
I have never in my entire life been treated so well at a restaurant. Steve, Zack and James were the perfects hosts for the perfect night. If you're looking to have the best service, great food and impeccable drinks, I'd definitely recommend B&L.
We went here on a Thursday midday. The decor looks cool. The waiter was attentive and informative. Onto the food ,we both ordered the lobster bisque and lobster roll with truffle chips! The food is good really good a tad overpriced but the meal was filling. The truffle chips though nice I don’t think it’s worth the upgrade. All in all I think it’s a great experience

It might be me that's getting too old or maybe I just didn't visit on the right night (we went on ladies night) but the vibe on the night was definitely suited to a slightly younger crowd. We arrived just before 7 and the lights were dimmed and the dj was out already. There was definitely a fun atmosphere (which little granny over here, prefers on a Friday night, not on a school night) and everyone was having a good time. We took advantage of the buy 1 get 1 free cocktail special and tucked into some burgers, which were definitely extremely generous portions. Both the cocktails and the burgers were great. I'd return for either one of them. Neither my friend or I were able to finish more than half our burgers they were so big. While the vibe wasn't quite to my particular liking on the night (bit too dark and loud), I definitely think this is somewhere where you can have a great time. Next time I'll just visit on a normal night when it's not a ladies night. I'd love to try some more cocktails and the Lobster Roll next time.

Food was so tasty, although the cocktails ended up being the highlight! Buy 1 get 1 free happy hour is a must. (PS. I knocked down a star for the unjustifiable food prices)
What can I say but wow , this place has probably the best burger I have I had. The skinny fries are good as well and the salad which had croutons and wild rocket with mustard greens is awesome as well. The place is nice and quaint. Overall il be back definitely 👏🏻

Stopped by for an early dinner. Unfortunately I couldn’t take advantage of their buy 1 get 1 free happy hour deal. But it did look enticing enough for me to return with friends next time.
This time around though I had their surf and turf burger, which I think is called the wolf burger. Thick beef patty topped with cheese and lobster bisque. It was recommended to me by my very lovely waitress, since I didn’t quite know whether I wanted the burger or the lobster roll - and she thought it be good to have both in one.
The burger is massive! And super messy... guess that’s why you’re handed a bib. I would’ve preferred the patty slightly charred on the outside, but you could taste that it was great quality beef. I like my burgers simple, this was definitely too OTT for me. But I can’t say that it was not good. Loved my side of truffle Parmesan fries too!
I’ll be back with friends for that happy hour. ☺️

Went there with some friends during the Social Hour. Every bar snack I tasted was delicious ! My favorites were probably the mini prawn roll and spicy buffalo wings. You can tell that they use great quality ingredients. Just bear in mind that these are just snacks, so the portions are small. I was disappointed that there wasn't any alcohol free cocktails available during the 2 for 1special .The barman didn't even offer to make some of those cocktails alcohol free, instead suggesting his own creations. I don't see why making a cocktail alcohol free or offering decent alternatives is a hard thing to do. During the Social Hour it can get extremely busy. As a result, service was slow, with our snacks taking quite some time to come, but this is completely understandable. My biggest complaint has to be the loud music. It was difficult to have a proper conversation. It wasn't ear-deafening loud, but it was a tad bit too high for me, and I am someone who generally likes loud music. Criticisms aside, I will definitely be back !
We popped in for dinner. Our waitress Emma was excellent and made great recommendations. I had the special, a little bit of everything. The lobster roll really is a thing of dreams, simple but so indulgent. Hubby had their chicken burger, very generous and tasty. What I love most is their happy hour(s), happy about all the cocktails & bubbles = happy about life!

2018/07/27 - Great vibe and great food. Music is a bit too loud to have a decent conversation, but the food is delicious. We ordered the B & L burger and the lobster roll. Both came with chips and a yummy fresh crispy salad. We had the trio of chips - normal, sweet potato fries, and black truffle and Parmesan cheese fries - delicious. The meal was expensive, but worth every cent. Excellent service, excellent food and big portions.
myself and my partner visted the restaurant and had the winter special which was amazing really fresh and tasty our waiter was very attentive too the atmosphere is super cozy but really vibey this would be such a nice place for a girls night out as well! Food was lovely. Well presented and came out the kitchen quite quickly. Taste of the bar snacks and burgers are realy something to go back for. Only drawback was the time waiting for our drinks but beside that, this place is a must. I would suggest to take the dive and have the burger and lobster combo. Money well spent!
Walking into this restaurant is delightful, it really is beautiful and inviting. We visited during the day, so opted to sit outside but next time I would really like to sit inside in the evening as I imagine it being very vibey!

Amanda has been dying to try Burger and Lobster and we finally came through. There is a winter special on at the moment, Lobster Bisque, Prawn roll,Mini Burger and fries for R139. The special is great as you get a little bit of everything! I had the normal lobster roll for R199. The food was delicious and is a must if you’re into seafood! Relative to portion size it’s a bit expensive, If you’re a big eater you might need to order a lot. The manager and staff are friendly and service is on point, I would definitely come back for more!

I have always wanted to visit Burger & Lobster after seeing all the reviews on Zomato. The pace has a great, cosy vibe and the owner/manager + staff were all friendly and welcoming. I arrived at the start of their 2 for 1 drinks special and chose the Exotic Marigold cocktails with prawn popcorn and prawn and lobster bites for starters. The drink was great and I was really glad to have a second one. It really complemented the bar food. The bar bites, while not much, were tasty and was perfect to whet an appetite. The staff were excellent at explaining their menu and off menu items. I chose the winter special which was a combination of lobster bisque (awesome tasting), prawn half roll (pretty good but would love to have a few more prawns) and slider (perfectly cooked and seasoned). The food as a whole was way above average and I definitely wanted to try more of the menu.
I really did enjoy the place and will be back to try their lobster roll and other off menu items. However, its worth noting that a meal will get expensive if you want go outside the time of their 2 for 1 drink special.
We wondered into Burger & Lobster for an early lunch. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
I had the Exotic Marigold cocktail which was flavorful and delicious. It was one of the best gin cocktails I've tasted so far.
For lunch I had a combo off the winter menu which included a lobster soup, prawn and cheese on bread and a small slider burger with a side of chips. Everything was delicious although it could have done with some more excitement with the burger and prawn sandwich.
I will definitely recommend this restaurant for great twist on a pub lunch!

I can't believe it's taken me so long to visit this restaurant. I had such a good time. The ambience was great, our waiter was great and the happy hour cocktail deal was great. I had the Hawaii 5.0 to drink and if you like sweet cocktails then you'll LOVE IT... I had the burger to eat which was a very generous portion (no complaints though) and my friends had the bar tapas. I tasted the mini lobster roll and despite my friend finding it too "fishy" I really like it. The only slight downfall was the service being quite slow at some point, but it was a busy Friday night. I'll 100% be back soon !
Love this place! Everything is fresh and made themselves. It is on the expensive side but the lobster roll is out of this world! Service is great and they have a 5-7pm happy hour on some good cocktails, beer, and wine.

I must say I came to this place because of its great reviews on eating out and on zomato. 1st impression was like it sounded like a pub and you have to talk a bit louder as the person across from you can’t hear so clearly because of the music playing in the background. I was quite happy not to sit near the bar and more near the kitchen side.
I enjoyed it at B&L loved they drink special and will definitely come back there for that with more of my friends. The food was great I loved the balsamic on the salad that was actually one of my favorites dishes besides the roll. I had the lobster roll which was good. I honestly think the lobster/crayfish roll is more of a sandwich cause it looks like one. But I enjoyed it and not big but very filling. They did made a slip up with the service bringing me potato fries and not the sweet potato fries which I ordered. But they did rectify it quickly and I didn't wait too long for it.
For dessert, I had the Creme Brulee absolutely loved it and you could taste the white chocolate. I think they should just take off the cream as it takes out the fun of cracking your Creme Brulee with the back of your spoon.
Overall experience I will definitely be back loved the drink special and the overall atmosphere it gives.

Hi! I had the most fantastic service from B&L! Following an incredibly unfortunate (and annoying) experience from a stolen uber eats order last night, I telephoned them to alert them of the mishap. The manager profusely apologized and reassured me of the seriousness with which they took the incident and followed to send a slice of their peanut butter cupcake dessert when I reordered the same meal the following evening as a gesture of apology! Above their stellar burgers, they do take the service provided in and out of the restaurant seriously and for that I am grateful!
I’ve only been to Burger & Lobster once and the service was great. I had a medium rare to well B&L burger which was quite filling (a well done should have been too dry). You have the option of a 180g patty or 250g (somewhere there). Their milkshakes are grand, they’re just too sweet for me but if you have a sweet tooth, go ahead and get you one.
Absolutely devine, everything about this little gem. Not much to choose from on the menu, but every dish cooked to perfection from the steak to the crayfish 👌🏽
Decided to come here after hearing all the hype. We got the tasting plate which consisted of seafood bisque, a beef slider, half a lobster roll and fries.
The food was very well presented and well priced. Every item was flavorful and fresh. Bisque was incredibly hearty but light and the same time.
I got my lobster roll without mayo, so I could really taste the lobster. The sweet and delicate meat was in every bite.

after looking forward to visiting B&L for quite some time we finally pulled the trigger. however great the menu, we were only interested in two things; you guessed it. and incredible flavour combination from the burger and the most succulent lobster creates the weirdest yet most satisfying combo. incredible food! there are only two issues here; a lack of variety when it comes to craft beer and (the big one) - price. far, far from cheap.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here!
The ambiance on a Saturday evening was amazingly upbeat and infectious. I quite enjoyed the jams the DJ treated us to, especially since my friends kept me waiting for a while😅 The service was great too! Our waiter was well informed and enthusiastically volunteered recommendations. He also served us well, being attentive without hovering unnecessarily.
The food was incredible! I had the only vegetarian option on the menu but I was absolutely blown away by how absolutely delicious and tasty that veggie burger was! No one at my table reached for the salt shaker once, which says a lot! The only complaint was from my friend who said that his steak had been served cold but that was quickly rectified and the festivities resumed. Their brioche buns deserve special mention- recipe is a definite winner!
By the end of dinner I was too full to sample any of their desserts, but this only means that I’ll be back really soon; just maybe not on a Saturday evening as finding parking in town is not fun!

Everything is delicious, the beef burger, the lobster roll, the whole lobster... their fresh brioche, their fries, their side-salad with every meal. All incredible! There are 3 main dishes only, but it allows the chefs to perfect them and we'd rather have it that way than more options that don't tantalize the tastebuds.
*TIP: ask your waiter about any specials on offer... they have a cocktail special daily from 4-7pm (2 drinks for the price of 1)... and we were lucky enough to have tasted their cocktails before they were on offer to the public.
Another tip: don't overlook their dessert menu... they have some really incredible desserts, which we had the pleasure of indulging in (all at once 👀🤓)
Divine burger and chips, chips cut to perfection and burgers are very satisfying. The ambience is nice , you can sit inside or out :) I have yet to try the lobster but I see they have some great lunch specials going

I tried out Burger and Lobster for the first time ever last night, and I absolutely loved everything about it.
They had a Valentine’s Day menu, so it was set but their food was to die for. For starters, they served spicy prawn popcorn and mac n cheese balls. I’m not really a big fan of cheese, so I didn’t really like the mac n cheese balls but my s/o , who loves cheese, could not stop raving about it. The spicy prawn popcorn, was absolutely amazing and they should really really think about putting it on the menu bc I could eat that for the rest of my life. Divine!
For our mains, we had a choice- either their famous B&L Burger or their noteworthy Lobster Roll. I chose the burger and it has got to be one of the most gourmet burgers I have ever tasted- again I’m not the biggest fan of cheese and the burger itself was quite cheesy, so I struggled to finish it but that aside, it was really delicious and the meat was outstanding and cooked perfectly.
By the time we got to dessert, we were incredibly stuffed but we had to make space because dessert was an OREO AND NUTELLA CHEESECAKE AND OMG HIGHLIGHT OF THE EVENING 😭🙌🙌 incredibly chocolatey with an oreo base to die for.
The ambiance was really romantic as well. All the couples were served a glass of Martini Prosecco on arrival, which just made it that more special.
I would definitely recommend B&L to anyone. It’s a definite must try 😭❤️

Great evening, menu could have been a little bigger, but great for a casual evening out. Great happy hour specials between 4 and 7. Definitely a unique experience that I can highly recommend
Solid beef Burger !!Ate in twice ,nice vibe and staff were friendly and courteous.Ordered the Burger via delivery a good few times ,always hits the spot !!My favourite burger in Cape Town.
This establishment is fast becoming like Table Mountain - a must visit! A warm welcoming hostess down to attentive and friendly waiters, I am yet to experience service of a similar nature.
My standard order here is the lobster roll - duh!
The freshly made in house bread slightly toasted with generous amounts of soft, fleshy lobster really make this lobster roll best in SA.
Once that’s all done, the s’mores dessert is really very delicious and I sometimes dream of it. Melting your own marshmallow, with Lindt chocolate and jamming it between a crunchy biscuit all at your table! It’s a DIY dessert and it’s amazing.
I experienced a top class meal here today.

Food was perfection on a plate. Service was impeccable. This establishment never fails to deliver.I highly recommend it.
Food was great (if a little lacking in actual lobster despite the big boy roll ordered and in comparison to the London outlet) but the brioche buns on both the burger and lobster were great, the Parmesan and Truffle fries definitely worth the add on and the cocktails were superb (and the highlight of the menu). The very nice interior decor and the Dickie B post digestif cocktail deserve special mention (though the initial service could have been a bit more attentive).
Best burger in Cape Town, it melts in your mouth. The salad is fresh dresses with balsamic. However the lobster roll is King by far the best thing I've put in my mouth. Service was good the owner was chilled, I don't care about anything else if the food is this amazing. The lobster roll could do with some more Lobster but I'm greedy.

’d been wanting to try Burger and Lobster for some time, so I was delighted when it was to be the venue for this the latest instalment in the Come Wine With Me series paired with Boland Cellars latest offerings.
A unique and novel take on the proverbial “Surf and Turf”, with everything from the delicious breads, burgers to the delicious pickles all prepared and made in house. I will concede that the menu didn’t inspire me at first glance, but I was prepared to go with it.
On arrival we were offered the Boland Cellar Talent and Terroir Rose. This wine is lovely and fruity which I quite enjoyed and is made using Cinsaut grapes.
The starter consisted of a Prawn Bisque Soup served with brioche. My goodness, I would have been satisfied with a large bowl of this course as it was superb. It had a deep rich intense seafood flavour that was an absolute hit will all in attendance. A five star course. This course was served with the Boland Cellar Unwooded Chennin Blanc
The main course was called “Best of both worlds” and consisted of a lobster sandwich and burger combo. Wow, was the lobster roll fantastic!! A lobster sandwich made with buttery fresh brioche and Japanese mayo, all of my favourites. The burger was made with 100% ground steak, bacon and homemade pickles served with fries and a green salad all of this served with Boland Cellar One Formation Shiraz, Pinotage and Ganache.
Finally, dessert was Ferrero Rocher dark cholate mousse served with Boland Cellar One Formation Shiraz, Grenache and Viognier.
Another amazing instalment of CWWM, there’s lots to be said for keeping your menus limited but doing it all really well and that’s the appeal of Burger and Lobster. A must do!
I could not find fault with this place. Went for the first time with my friend and I was blown away. The ambiance doesn’t scream amazing, but the detail in the brick art is actually really cool.
Enough with that though, we made it for happy hour and I was overjoyed! The gin cocktails are truly out of this world and exceptionally made.
We had the burger and lobster tail thingy 🙈. The burger was amazing, soft buns, juicy meat and everything just came together so nicely. It had the whole package. The lobster tail was brilliant, but a bit too little to leave one fully satisfied. All in all this place is a must visit!
This joint is amazing. My friend and I, did the bottomless bubbly ladies evening for her birthday and we could not have chosen a better place to do so. The service was phenomenal. Our waiter attended to us in a none intrusive way. When ever our glass was empty she was right there to fill it up. She even organized a complimentary slice of cake for my friend. The food was really good. The most succulent and juicy burger I've had in a while. We did half and half. Which was half a burger and half of a lobster roll. I personally wouldnt go for the lobster roll again. But it was still tasty. The ambience was perfect. Enjoyed the the music selection by the DJ.
I would recommend B&L to anyone.

Despite the clause "Table booking recommended", we were accommodated and seated very quickly.
Service can only be described as excellent at every point of the dining experience.
Presentation of the food was inviting...the taste is something I would definitely come back and try again...it was amazing on all levels, especially the sirloin and surf and turf burger.
And let's not forget "Gin o Clock"...another interesting addition to this establishment.
Will definitely be a returning patron to this restaurant.
I have been wanting to try B&L for a long time now. Loved it! The decor is great and I like the vibe created by the dim lightning. We were in time for happy hour, so that was a good way to kick off the evening. Well....the burger: it is absolutely delicious and worth the money. The star of the evening though was the Orea/Nutella baked cheesecake. OMW. Both me and my husband agreed that it is by far the BEST cheesecake we have ever eaten!! I will go back again and again just for that. Service was spot-on.

The service is good and really personal and it goes with the whole experience.
My friend and I decided to go half half on the lobster roll and the burger we also decided to upgrade to truffle fries sooo worth it.
Lobster roll was above average, the true winner though was definitely the burger, everything is house made from the bun to the patty which was extremely fresh.
The only negative I’d say about this restaurant is that the lighting is extremely dim, I guess it goes with the intimate setting but imagine having to squint at dinner.
Worth every every penny! Try it.

Best dinner experience iv had in a while. This was my first time there and I wasnt expecting much for a Tuesday night, but I was blown away by the incredible food, delicious drinks, quick service and outstanding manager who made us feel so welcome and he massively contributed to the perfect evening we had. I would highly recommend this place.
One of the best places to get a burger in Cape Town. Interesting mayo like tangy flavor to the burgers. Great service from waiters can be a bit slow on Fridays or first Thursdays. Location is great on Bree Street and you can walk to other bars in the area. Try the Burger Lobster Combo. The lobster rolls are amazing. The cocktails here are either too sweet or too bitter for me. I’d have a beer instead :)
One of the best places in town. The vibe is awesome, the service is awesome. The drinks are awesome and of cause, the food is just amazing! The burger, the lobster pasta and the Oreo cheese cake is a must 👌🏽
The menu made choosing what to have for dinner a breeze! The name aptly describes what you can eat and being someone who does not eat shellfish, I 'chose' the burger.
I have heard mixed reviews about the burger so I am glad to report that I enjoyed it. It didn't blow my socks off but I did enjoy it - the addition of Parmesan fries did put a smile on my face.

B&L Cape Town is one of my favorite spots in Bree street! I have been there on countless occasion and every time we receive the same phenomenal service, delicious food and amazing atmosphere.
I think i have now tried pretty much everything on the menu. The lobster Bisque is the perfect winter lunchtime treat. For dinners the half burger and half lobster roll really does the trick to satisfy the taste buds! But when that dessert tray comes around i go weak in the knees! creme brulee, cheese cake, smores - they have it all!
Earlier in the year we even hosted a function for about 140pax at B&L. All guests were well watered and fed consistently throughout the night. Danita and the team took care of everything leaving us to have the best and most enjoyable night.
Ladies night (the last Thursday of the month) has bottomless bubbles and Burger or Lobster for only R 299 per head. and let me tell you it really is bottomless!
Their Burger and Lobster roll are both delicious. Also love that you can half it and have the best of both. The atmosphere and decor is great for a chilled couples night out as well as a more vibey night with friends. Definitely one of my favourites :)

Been there numerous times. Food is outstanding in all aspects, flavour, presentation and portions. The vibe is fantastic. Not to mention the manageress Danita, goes out of her way to make one feel special. Great attention to detail. I recommend Burger & Lobster to anyone for an excellent time and meal. Fantastic location, ample parking around the venue. Staff were extremely welcoming upon arrival. The menu is small however they make up on that 10 fold with the generous portion size and delectable meal. Managers engage with consumers and together with my waitrons speedy service ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Safe to say that I will be a regular from now. Thanks guys!
A gastronomic oasis in Cape Town. If you are a fun of burgers, (everybody is!) and if you love lobsters, (who doesn't) this is your place. Excellent location with easy parking. Very attentive and beautiful personnel. Amazing dishes made with passion from globally known chefs. Not to mention the desserts. I was speechless after every bite. Totally recommended!

We started off with starters- cheese balls and brisket. Then shared the roll combo for two (burger and lobster roll) with starters and a bottle of wine.
The food was amazing, the service was speedy and the waiter (Daniyel) provided us with world class service.

Service was great the front office girl was responsive and supportive for all the questions and concerns. Ordered the Veg options comes with salad and fires. I couldn’t complete the entire meal but it’s really delicious burger.
We tried a couple of starters, sliders and lobster royale along with all the cocktails offered in happy hour and can say each was just brilliantly done! The cherry on top is very cool vibe and amazing personel who seem to be having fun at the job and treat you very kindly. Def recommend!!

Went to dinner with some friends last night, such a stunning venue - truly beautiful. The food was really yummy I had the slide trio and it was my first time trying a lobster roll - WOW! The service was also top notch, we were served by a lovely gentleman named Andrie. Only thing I’d say is to be cautious where you park at night we walked to our car about 150m away afterwards and were harassed, rather park closer, or uber.
We had a great dining experience. The waitress - Chantal - is very knowledgeable and explained all the details. Making sure we were happy and set. Great food - both burger and lobster!
One comment though: we also ordered take away one other evening (via delivery) and it would be great to also have the plastic apron for take away. Not a big thing but a small and meaningful detail. Thanks!
Had the opportunity to have a beautiful lunch here. The food is absolutely delicious. It was so flavourful and delightful on the palette. I enjoyed the selection of small plates and my main, the lobster roll.
Previously, I went for their happy hour and enjoyed that, too. It was so worth it! You sometimes find that happy hour drinks are weaker or diluted somewhat but not here. These were exactly the same. It's definitely a happy hour venue (4 - 6pm). Had so much fun, great vibe, friendly barmen, and excellent drinks. I'm in love with their cocktails🍹 and the great variety. I'm definitely going back for the food and happy hour. 😉😉😉
Jade was a great waiter. He explained the menu and drinks .They even made us some homemade hot chocolate.The food and drinks were delicious. If you're in Johannesburg you must visit Burgers & Lobster.

So I’ve never eaten Lobster before and my wife decided to bring me out to Burger & Lobster for my first time. If there was no Lobster options, the friendly atmosphere and staff combined with other food and drink options would have still brought us to this restaurant.
Cocktails: I had the Old Fashioned and it was simply the best Old Fashion I’ve ever had…I didn’t want it to finish!
For our mains we both had the lobster roll as the reviews on google are filled with that as a suggestion and for my first time eating lobster I simply fell in love with this dish.
We are definitely returning to try out the other non lobster dishes as they sound divine…and for another Old Fashioned.

We visited Burger and Lobster for the first time. I had the chicken burger. I'm planning on returning soon to try another dish. The cocktails were great, and the dark red atmosphere had a fantastic vibe. We also had a great waiter, Andrie. Thank you for taking such good care of us. You were a delight.
Amazing dining experience. Staff extremely friendly and very attentive service. The milkshakes are a must have(very tasty). Buffalo wings, lobster roll(goes without saying) and the burger was lovely. Will definitely return when in Cape Town again.
Burger and Lobster is a fantastic restaurant in Cape Town that serves mouthwatering burgers and lobsters. The food is well-prepared, and the service is fast and professional. Amazing ambiance and even better service. Jesse (our waiter) was absolutely great and full of energy. Truly made us feel welcome considering this was our first visit (definitely not our last visit). To be fair, all the staff was super friendly and incredible!
Starters (wings and prawn pops) and mains (Legacy Burger, Fillet and Jack Daniel’s Ribs all 600 grams) was 10/10
The Creme brûlée was a massive 10000000/10 as well!
Lastly, the cocktails was out of this world! If you are looking for a place to unwind after work or to have a date night - Burger & Lobster is the place to go!

Had a great experience at Burger &Lobster on Tuesday night. Went there for dinner with friends and had an awesome time. The server Andrie was courteous, attentive and recommended delicious meals and fab drinks. The restaurant was buzzing as usual, but the atmosphere was relaxing.
