Went to jazz on the bay and had the most amazing food. They were so accommodating towards the fact that I’m vegan and my food was just as creative and delicious as the other non vegan dishes served. Also didn’t even need to pay extra for the fact that it was vegan.
Amazing atmosphere, really cool music, and the view of ocean makes you feel like your on holiday. But most importantly the food and service is great!! My favourite is the signature dish (Ostrich) :)
Of all the restaurants in the world I have been lucky enough to visit, this is the best!! Cocktails 10/10, Food 11/10, service 12/10 (Thanks Trevor) the MUST visit restaurant in Cape Town/Camps Bay
Thank you very Much for such a perfect experience! Definitely +5 star! The food , wine and vibe was very perfect and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Food was beautiful in looks and taste the wait time was a little bit long but worth the wait amazing staff as well will definitely go again
Very nice setup. Cozy yet open and the view is to die for! Definitely coming for a breakfast or sunset drink!
What an awesome place! Really had a good time great food and great cocktails and all at a very very good price. Will definitely come again
Spent a fantastic Sunday afternoon at The 41 overlooking Camps Bay Beach, enjoying half price cocktails between 3 - 6pm. Service was great and food was delicious, and we were treated to the best sunset.
Prices have inc r eased quite abit since we been there a couple of months ago but the food and service were worth it
Make sure that your waitress for the day is Tina It was a breath of fresh air to receive service such as this and I wish to thank Tina immensely.
She is an asset to your business and I request that she receives the recognition that she deserves from this review.
Thin crispy 41 pizza 🍕 awesome and a view to die for
One of the greatest place in Cape Town. Well located, drinks are great and staff very professional. Recommend it!
Great vibe, good food and friendly staff I will come again.
Happy Hour special is what made me visit The 41, and it was worth it.
The food was actually lovely.
However the area gets to noisy from the neighbors around. Other than that I had a good time at The 41
Went for Dinner, the place was almost full. Nice ambience. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The service was quick. Ordered Ostrich Patty burger, Nachos, falafel, hummus and wines. The food was nice . Defintiely will visit again
We went there to celebrate a buddy's birthday. The atmosphere was good, food was amazing and the waiter also sang in a very beautiful voice for the birthday boy. One hiccup was they confused my order but they were quick to correct it.
I ordered the grazing platter /tapas which was really delicious consisting of mozerella balls, olives, capers, artichokes, tomatoes and prosciutto with a slice of ciabatta. The tapas paired with a Cruz watermelon cocktail and a stunning view 💕
The food is lovely, waitress was great, awesome view and the vibe is chilled. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back.
Side note: The desserts are absolutely lovely and a definite must.
I love the fact that they use premium alcohol for their cocktails and it's not at all overpriced. The view is exquisite and the staff is very friendly
A vegetarian point of contrast!
My whole extended family and I came here for lunch. The location is unbeatable.
I ordered the two course meal special which came with a complementary glass of wine. The wine choices were fantastic subtle and balanced.
I am a vegetarian and was told that since there was not a vegetarian option on the multi course meal menu they would make a plan for me.
I was served overcooked dry pasta with a bland napoli sauce that I sent back. I was told they would do the Mediterranean fettecini on the menu (their vegetarian option)
After a substantial wait 1 and a half hours I received an overcooked dry fettecini with the same bland napoli sauce.
(not the one on the menu!)
I sent this back and while very disappointed in the food have to commend the willingness to try to find a solution albeit the lack of care in such a solution.
The third dish arrived an overcooked dry pasta but this time with cream and feta added to the sauce and a sprinkle of zucchini.
At this point everyone had finished their food.
No-one was particularly impressed with what they had eaten.
I appreciated that I was listened to.
The food was not my favourite part of the experience.
Come here for a drink, dessert and wine.
It should be noted that the owner did approach me after posting this review to enquire about my experience and food.
He expressed that for the price of the set menu course he believed that the value was to be commended.
He wanted to know what problems I experienced with the food in order to correct them.
This is commendable
The value is precisely what interested me in the set menu but as I expressed I still expect food I can enjoy.
The owner also checked with our whole table to offer us a complementary drink
I appreciated the warm gesture and way in which the feedback was received.
I will definitely pass by here again to give it another shot.
Step inside a slick restaurant, where you’ll find no-frills luxe decor, fit with a TV for the football too! The tapas are amazing! Seriously a foodie highlight. The menu is good too - I loved the prawns, berry cider sangria and creme brule. They have incredible set menu weekly specials, wine pairing set menu’s, and jazz nights. The service was disappointing from the waiter - though the front house manager was exceptional - and I found the sushi to be a little pricey but other than that I absolutely loved everything about 41 and am excited to return!
Such friendly and helpful staff members who make sure that you are comfortable and well attended to. The food was really great, I would highly recommend their winter set menu. It can feel a little cramped but it's worth it for the overall vibe and food :)
Friends took me to this place as they love they coffee. I agree they coffee are really good, its Nespresso coffee which you can’t go wrong. I had a egg Benedict prosciutto which was okay. They don’t have a lot options when it comes to breakfast. They do have 3 healthy breakfast meals on there which i like.
This is an excellent place. Really good food and friendly service, very nice vibe - service was good even tho the place was packed, will be back in the future!
Birseyler icmek icin guzel bir cafe. Tatlilari cok basarili. Sahilin hemen yaninda. Fiyatlar ortalama. Sahildeki en iyi cafe. Yemekleri denemedik ama onlarda guzel gorunuyordu.
Went for sundowners, view is fantastic!!
Had drinks then went on to have some sushi. Both the drinks and the sushi was great!! Really enjoyed it.
Service was very good too!
I went there for a champagne party , and I had steak .I wasn't particularly impressed with my food as I expected maybe a little more flavor but it wasn't that bad .other than that it was a great experience and I would certainly go back again.
It's quite pricey. The food is average. In my opinion it's over priced for the food/quality that you get. Most of the time we just go there for drinks. They have a nice happy hour from 4-6pm and the Margaritas are really good. Also nice spot to watch the sunset.

I went here last weekend. We came a little before noon so we could not order off the breakfast menu. As we waited for lunch we enjoyed a lovely orange juice. I decided to try the seafood pasta. It looked heavenly when I arrived, I must say I was slightly disappointed, it was a pricey meal, yet tasted watery and slightly bland on the palate. A dry white made the experience better. I would've preferred my meal slightly with more spicy aroma tastes or if not a little creamier it was just too water based for my liking. However the staff was absolutely incredible, the view amazing and it was not too busy and not empty, just the perfect vibe. The latter will bring me back to The 41 as I try other enticing meals on the menu. Also they're half price cocktails will keep me coming back!
Sitting under the umbrellas on a hot summer’s day with a cocktail in hand in this cosmopolitan street café is the very definition of ‘Cape Town holiday vibes’.
Great happy hour special on cocktails.
Cool new place to have a drink and a bite on the Camps Bay strip. Pizza was decent but our waitress was a bit flaky... Had to send a steak back because it was cooked more than we asked.
Overall, the place is on par with the other eateries in the area.
It's a very cool spot, nice vibe and the music goes well with the sunset! The mojito needs a little work but it was cool. Had the beef burger, was good! Will deff be back soon!
Tapas and cocktails for a beautiful afternoon. The service and embiance of the restaurant were fantastic with fresh, flavoursome food to accompany it.
The place seems new and still trying to find their feet. The drinks on the menu all seemed good and the ones we had went down great.
The food we went for something light which all went down good. The oysters were very tasty.
Overall service was great shared a few jokes with the waiter and she was very attentive making sure to check if we were enjoying the grab.
Awesome service from the waitrons, amazing food and heart warming atmosphere.this place is just too good I'm definitely going back #newkidontheblock#love41
After the horrible service we received from Cafe Caprice, The 41 was a welcomed change. This restaurant had a very nice vibe, the waiters were attentive and the food was good. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Camps Bay.
If not for the food and drinks, then go for the view. Amazing spot for sunset cocktails....speaking of...i was ready to turn myself in at the first road block voluntarily. Basil, orange and a shot of gin on ice ( or with soda)... Incredible... Delicious tapas. Italian flair with a South African twist. Ordered the deep fried squid, flat bread with roasted pepper humus and tuna tartare. Normal Campsbay prices, varies from R60 - R100 per starter.
Had a lovely time at The 41 at the beginning of October. My friend and I were quite happy with our food, we were a bit shocked at how strong some of the cocktails were during happy hour. But we had a great time nonetheless. The service was good and the music was lively, so we were jamming along as we ate. I would definitely recommend this place and come back again.
Sweet spot in camps bay. Located right at the beach front The 41 has stunning views, and an even more amazing sunset. Food was scrumptious and the staff was friendly.
We wanted to try a restaurant in camps bay and stumbled upon this little gem. Now I have eaten at waterfront many times but this was a better experience than all of them .
Food , drinks were great. We tried steak , ribs , burgers and their pizza too. Wine , beer , coffees were served as requested and quickly . The desert was amazing ( lava cake ) but ice cream was average .
The highlight was the service and the reason was our server Alfred who was so attentive and was focused on providing great experience to all his guests. People like them are a great asset to a business and are the reason for people returning to the establishment. I look forward to visiting the restaurant again .
I loved watching the sunset from 41 while sipping on a cocktail! Service was efficient, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the manager also inquired whether we were enjoying our meal.
I had the best snail starter I've had in years! I thoroughly enjoyed my burger! My guest also enjoyed her starter and main. There is nothing I can complain about, it was a perfect dining experience.
Really lovely service here, great view of the sea. A nice vibe with quiet music too. The food was delicious and the strawberry daiquiri is to die for. Would totally come here again.
This place has a vibe and the waitress and waiters are amazing and the food is amazing
Interesting one. We meant to go to Mantra and made the mistake of thinking upstairs and downstairs was one restaurant. See pic and be more aware.
The 41 was ok. I would give it 3.5 but rounded up. Service was SLOW....food was good but you are paying a premium for the location.
Went for breakfast here this week. We were on our way to another establishment and the friendly staff redirected us here and showed us the menu which caught our attention. Our waitress was so friendly and welcoming of us (this was especially welcomed as we had our baby with us.) She was super understanding of dietary restrictions and made helpful suggestions. The breakfast was so delicious (we completely cleaned our plates) and I’m still dreaming of the ice coffee.
The food was good. We had a nice breakfast. It is always crowded. Hope they add some vegan options in breakfast
Great service. The management, waiters and host were very polite and friendly. Quick service. They also kept a table for me despite festive season and the food was value for money. Love the blue cool walls too. Thank you so much.
Friendly staff. The food was great and the staff was friendly. I had a smoked salmon pizza which was amazing. The cocktails at the bar are also great. The restaurant is close to the beach and you got a nice sunset in the evening. Would definitely recommend.
Stunning place. Beautiful view. Great staff! Funky venue. Tidy and clean. The bathrooms are luxurious! I had a glass of Chardonnay with the crayfish! Delicious! ZAR350 for the crayfish! Really nice! They have great lunch set menus too!
Friends and I had a great time here. Food was top class and service was good. My friends notified the manager that I just got engaged to my fiance and she brought us champagne on the house. Really blown away! Covid-19 protocols followed as they sanitized every menu and socially distanced the tables.
I had breakfast there and the manager was wonderful. I really enjoyed it. The food wasn't the most amazing, but the coffee was fresh and delicious. The thing that stood out the most is the lovely service, such a rarity in Cape Town.
