Quite possibly the best eggs Benedict I have had! A tranquil restaurant in the heart of Calitzdorp. Lovely coffee, great service in a peaceful setting. Suggest sitting in the garden under the shady trees. We will be back!

My wife and I visited this restaurant as we drove thru the town. They serve very nice salads, we also enjoyed some nice custard slices there. Friendly and helpful staff. Well done Cafe @ The Rose..!!

A welcome stop on the main road in the lovely Calitzdorp, with hot coffee and a delicious breakfast, fire in the fireplace, very friendly staff, beautiful setting and great music.

Cafe @ The Rose was recommended to us, as we were looking for a second hand reading book. What a lovely gem. A coffee shop stocked with olives, olive oil, baked goods, coffee and gifts. They have a beautifully decorated back garden, which has been set up to seat dining-in guests, however it is perfect for hosting any type of celebration. I love Pastei De Nata, though I can't say that it is made the authentic way, what I can say is that it was one of the most delicious Pastei De Natas that I have ever had. They even stock some of the Babylonstoren products.

Good coffee and books. Very classy gem on the main street of Calitzdorp. Well selected local products available. Fireplace and cozy as well as outdoor seating area. Friendly owners did not mind for well behaved small doggie on a leach that came along. A popular place where locals visit and tourists stop.

What a great find. Amazing place, wonderful engaging owners and the best red cappa with almond milk in the Little Karoo. Also worth buying some local raw honey.... Absolutely a must stop. So thank you all of you there at Cafe @Rose....will see us again when we do the R62!!!

Great coffee, scrumptious breakfasts and irresistible pastries. There is a lovely garden for summer days and log fires for chilly winters. Books and art for sale, lots of local goodies to choose from, Café at The Rose is truly a Calitzdorp gem. Hosts Louis and Retief create a cozy and welcoming atmosphere and the service is great. A favourite among locals and highly recommended to visitors.
