Great vibe, attentive staff and awesome management
The menu blew my mind. For someone who is gluten intolerant AND carb conscious, this menu is a dream come true. (also if you are vegan!) And for someone who doesn't have any special dietary requirements, this menu is also incredible! For the first time I really feel a restaurant has gone above and beyond. So much effort has been put into the kinds of food served here. I am still in awe as I struggle to find restaurants that cater to my needs. My low carb pizza was the best low carb pizza I've had out and the fact that there is a low carb cheesecake option for dessert made my heart happy. It is now my restaurant of choice without a doubt. We had lovely service and a fantastic night, I have nothing bad to say.
Great place for lunch and dinner! I must admit I am obsessed with one of their pizzas so when I go it’s all I can order. We were celebrating something so we had two glasses of Brut and shared a Green Genie. Our waitress (Noni) chatted to us and offered us all the specials, she was very charismatic but couldn’t sway my decision. When the food came, they had halted the pizza and given us our own plate. I thought that was so lovely and rarely happens. When I come back I am going to request Noni!

This place has a wonderful Italian feel and they have delicious food, especially the pasta! I usually have a focaccia to share with my family, then I usually have penne bolognaise and then a milkshake or ice cream. I would recommend it and will be back.
Never fail. Always superb food. Can't be beaten. Our weekly pizza pasta place. Kids get to make their own dough shapes and bake and we climb into the crayons and brown paper table cloth for family art while we eat. Excellent!
Always love the pizzas and salads here. The wine list is a bit short of nice red blends but the pizzas still make it worth going. Not very many veg pastas though
Some of the best pizzas in Joburg. The service here is really good, the waiters and manager were very attentive; and the wait between ordering our food and receiving it was surprisingly quick. A very pleasant experience overall.
My favourite pizza place and the One in Nicolway is excellent. Food is great! Service is great! But it’s a bit dark and needs a bit a livening up.

It’s a busy spot, reasonably spacious, with a cosmopolitan vibe. Service was good. Their menu offers much more than just pizza and pasta. My ‘very berry no-hito’ mocktail was refreshing and not too sweet. The Regina with banting pizza base was tasty. My Stagionata was lekker too.

Their menu has not changed in forever! But their food is consistent and decent. The service is good and they are very reasonably priced. They still miss the niche details... like a milk alternative (almond/soya), most likely because of franchise efficiency.
Was initially disappointed that our name was not on the booking list, however the manager made every effort to find us a table in the very busy restaurant. The food was delicious. The half and half pizza served the table of 7 people well, with all there different choices. We had the chicken pizza, tuna pizza, mushroom pizza and a vegetarian pizza. The pastas for me was most delicious, the creamy mushroom and spinach pasta on a cold winter day was most comforting. The prawn pasta was just as delicious and and the flavours were rich. Still one of my favourite restaurant.
Our favorite place ,Nice food as usual, well done to our waiter Dumisani he was excellent in his knowledge and friendly which is unusual to see often. After visiting most of the branches Will recommend brynaston as the best cal cacchio in the country.
Never disappoints. Getting to split your pizza into two flavours is an absolutely brilliant idea. Great deco. Slightly slow service but well managed. Sit in or take out. Oh and download the loyalty app for points. Great cocktails which was a surprise
We visited this place today and I was very pleased. We could replace the mozzarella on any pizza with diary free cheese and it was amazing. It's perfect for anyone with a lactose intolerance or a fussy family.
Col'Cacchio Pizzeria is one of the places I love to go when.im feeling pizza perkish, but want a healthy option.
The Nacho libre is one of my absolute favourite dishes there, I am a huge nacho fan and their nachos are on of the best.
Col'Cacchio is a very beautifully set and decorated restaurant, modern and home style at the same time.
Fantastic service, great food, Mbeki, our waiter, was absolutely amazing and extremely informative. The carne antipasto and beef carpaccio were both very good and more than enough for 2 people as a main meal.

A popped in with a few friends for a chilled Monday evening dinner in the midst of a giant thunderstorm, and although it was Monday it was quite busy.
We shared a bottle of wine and ordered pizza's.
I selected the banting option (cauliflower base was really yummy) with Morituri topping - chicken, bacon, avo, feta and roasted red peppers.
Banting pizza's although slightly more expensive come with a side salad, and the meal was large enough for me to take some home for lunch the next day.
My dining partners enjoyed their pizza's as well - a standard Morituri on a normal base and a half and half ( where you get two half pizzas with different toppings on the same plate - The Moghul (indian butter chicken and yoghurt, coriander and crispy onions) and The Smokey Babe (deboned pork ribs, corn, spring onion and coriander) was a winning combo and received great praise.
As it was a Monday we did not make a "night of it" and skipped on desserts and coffee - however would return again as it is in my neighborhood and our waiter Goodhope was fantastic and attentive, and the speed at which all the staff managed to move all the outside guests inside and close the glass doors to the storm was impressive!
I had an amazing meal at Col'Cacchio, Nicolway this weekend. I am banting currently and they have an awesome selection for us! My banting melanzane was really delicious and it was so nice to order something easily without worrying about the ingredients.
I was with my 13month old son as well and the staff organised him a baby seat quickly and brought him some goodies to play with. One waitress even came and folded the brown paper on the table up so as not to risk my son getting a paper cut! So caring.
I have marked the half a point less than perfect, only for the fact that the service was a little slow after I had finished my meal, but then again, I was in a bit of a rush, so this may have been unreasonable on my part.
I can't wait to try some more of the banting friendly meals on the menu!
Loved it! Great pizza, great service and friendly staff. When in the area again I would definitely be back for more, the pastas and pizzas ate light and filling.
We've ordered take-aways from this col-cacchio's a couple of times when working late at the office. They arrive within the 45 minute time that they specify when you order and the pizzas are great. I recently discovered the butternut, feta praline and chilli pizza (Norm's Pralina) and it is my new favourite thing ever... I'm not a vegetarian, but I'll happily order this any time. The pizza bases are thin, the toppings are generous and they arrive still hot and ready to eat. I can't vouch for what it's like sitting in the restaurant.. but I might give it a try when I crave that pizza again.

A quick Friday lunch turned out to be such a delight, colcacchio has a lunch time menu with everything on under R60. I ordered a butternut, feta and cranberrie pizza. The size of the pizza for lunch is perfect and it was delicious, I love their thin crisp base and to finish off the meal a milk and white chocolate pannacotta to share. The pannacotta was perfect and silky and delicious. Will be back for lunch soon but will have to try the pasta next. Service at the Nicolway branch was quick and efficient considering our time limitations
Probably my favorite pizza restaurant. Nothing beats a thin based pizza made in a wood fire oven. Just a little pricy for pizzas. Other than that, all good.

This Col'Cacchio's franchise set in the Nicolway Shopping Center makes it a cut above a food court mainly because it's separated by each of the restaurants themes but nevertheless it's ok for a quick bite.
Always go for the Moghul Pizza since its introduction from Masterchef some years ago. I am quite glad it stayed on the menu over time which is testimony to its authentic taste. The Moghul pizza is an Indian butter chicken, yogurt, fior di latte, mozzarella, coriander and crispy onion. Very tasty on a perfectly baked base with an authenticity unmatched at any pizzeria.
The rest of the menu is classic Italian however does not have that authentic feel to it but more a consistent franchise flavor.
I had a very good experience at this branch of Col'Cacchio. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. I ordered the Piccante, and it was absolutely delicious. As always, ingredients are fresh, and flavour combinations are fantastic at Col'Cacchio.
We attended a family celebration and understandably with a large table sometimes something goes wrong and as it happens it was my meal. However there damage control "Thanks Ali" more than compensated me, with not only a dinner voucher but he even offered to deliver it. We redeemed the voucher yesterday and didn't say anything as didn't want a fuss made. Wow what a lovely chilled afternoon and the food was awesome. Thanks guys for the excellent service and quality meals I am used to every time we have been there in the past.
We were really impressed with this Col'cacchio! Our pizzas were delicious and the service was excellent. We both had fresh juices which were also very tasty! Really like the new rewards app - very cool concept. We will be back for sure.

Friends and I got together for a good old catch up. This stretch of restaurants are always busy and has such a vibe. And yet it's also by a parking lot but people don't complain. The service was efficient and our waiter friendly. We had a lovely evening. The food was great, we all ordered the half and half pizzas which allow for greater variety. I had the strega -black mushrooms garlic and herbs and the nacho libre - jerk spice chicken with guacamole salsa and sour cream. It needed more spice as it didn't deliver on flavour. My pal didn't enjoy her one a much as the base went slightly soggy. Mine was nice just needed some more toppings and that's what I always find at this franchise it's more pizza base than toppings. I added some chilli and garlic which made it better. My other friend also found hers a bit bland. Yet we enjoyed the thin crust.
Dessert was really nice we shared the vanilla panacotta with choc mousse and the crushed meringue with berries and cream. Really delicious but rich desserts. Definitely give it a try.
This is the second time I've been to Col'Cacchio's bryanston and I didnt wait long for my order at all. I had the picante banting pasta, which was delictable and the zuchetti was prepared just right. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff pleasant. The food is always good and now my new favourite section of the menu (although small is the banting section) definitely give it a try next time you go.
Its been a long time since Ive been so impressed! Wow! The restaurant was choc a block but the service was out of this world. Staff work under extreme pressure while still looking cool and calm and offering friendly and super efficient service. My daughters Pizza was delicious and my banting lasagne was a treat. I'll be back soon!
Had a lovely dinner at Col'Cacchio last night. Excellent service. Our waiter was very attentive and always came to check on us, even though we sat in the far corner of the restaurant (to escape the children - of which there were many). Food is great! But I still find the food at the shop in Waterfall better.
Wonderful service tonight from Mini. .friendly, efficient and willing. What a treat to not only find Banting meals now on the menu..but my lasagne was so delicious! It was a bit small for the price however as it's basically just melanzane with Italian flavouring. However with a small side salad it wd be more value. Can't wait to go back for Banting cheescake!
Pizza is one of our favourite dishes, and having the option of incredible toppings with a GF base seals the deal. Our dual favourite is the Carpe Funghi, while on other occasions I go for the Smokey Babe and hubby has the La Zizou.
Recently we tried their new Banting options. I'm not a big fan of their Banting pizza, since I'd rather have a larger pizza than a small one with a salad; but their zoodle pasta with Puttanesca sauce, and Banting beef lasagne, do the trick.
It's a pity that they've stopped making their white cucumber and mint sangria, but the Cherry Berry Mojito is a worthy successor.
If you are craving Italian, Col'Cacchio Nicolway hits the spot. Their vast menu from antipasti to fresh salads, banting pizza to half and half is never disappointing.
Some of my faves include the Spinaci (R 56) or the Broccolo (R 64). Full of green and full of life but I just love adding bacon for that extra yumsh factor.
In summertime storm season to indulge in their pizzas is lip smacking. Some favorites again include the Moghul (R 99); rich butter chicken cooled with yogurt or the Smokey Babe (R 120), sweet smoked pork married with mint and coriander.
As food fomo is a real fact of life the half and half concept sorts this out. The half Sedriano paired with Spicota is such a goodie.
The ambiance inviting, the service good and their drinks selection almost as vast as the food menu.
Bottom line is, you can't go wrong!

Good honest Pizza and pasta. I enjoy the bunny chow calzone, it's a pizza with a difference. Salads are fresh, good family restaurant and a decent variety for all tastes
I think if there was one food that I could eat for the rest of my life, pizza would be it. Col'Cacchio really know how to make a good one!! Really enjoy the Col'Cacchio at Nicolway, good vibe and friendly staff. Only have positive things to say... Great spot.

Decent lunch today at the Nicolway branch. I was indecisive about which pizza to order so landed up making most of the half and half options. Their salads are really good and are darkhorses on the menu.
We waited for a table but oh my word was it worth the wait. I had the Banting Beef Lasagne. I haven't had anything that has made me this happy in a long time. Wow... Amazing.. And our waiter was such an interesting guy.. Loved our night out...
A friend and I grabbed a very late dinner and landed up at Col'Cacchio at the Nicolway. Great place & ambience (for a Monday night), good food and good service. I really enjoyed my salad however my friend was a little less satisfied with her Regina pizza. Nonetheless though, will be back to this place.
Really delicious pizzas! The indian themed Moghul is absolutely great, a very unique flavour. Also Quattro Fromaggi is great too. I really appreciate it that they inform you of specials, like the 2 for 1 in august.
Had an excellent date night, the service was on point cosidering i did not make reservations prior to coming. I only had to wait for about a minute to get a table, wasn't gonna complain coz I had that Castle Draught see??😊
We came to Col'Cacchio for good pizza and we weren't disappointed. We shared a pizza with two different halves, and it was enough for the both of us. Best of all, their pricing is really decent. We got two Peroni beers on the house, but were enjoying the house wine so much that we ended up taking the Peroni's home. We like the atmosphere for a dinner date, but not overly romantic. All in all the meal and drinks cost us less than R200 and I don't know where to find better pizza or house wine.
This restaurant offers a nice variety of pizzas, and it is very tasty and the prices are reasonable. They do not have many "gourmet pizzas", but this restaurant is worth a try. It is conveniently located in the busy and buzzing Nicolway shopping center.
I had Col'Cacchio a few times years ago and wasn't really impressed so never made and effort to go back, but over the last while we've ordered pizzas at work from Col'Cacchio and I was quite impressed... So off we went to the Nicolway outlet for dinner on Friday night. I could not believe how packed it was and how people were queuing for tables. I had the Norm's Pralina, which is a vegetarian pizza but my new favourite. I ask for less chili though otherwise it's a little too hot for my liking. The salads looked amazing, and although I have heard mixed reviews about their pastas I would like to give them a try. The waiters were so friendly and even though we were there quite early, we never felt rushed, even though they clearly needed to clear our table or another seating.
I normally don't like eating in malls. Nicolway is not your typical mall, making this Col'Cacchio's not typical at all. It's a pizzeria that's not dirty like most pizzeria. There is a certain level of class here, however I have seen some people wear slip slops here. How rude.
I've come here for business meetings, dates, birthdays and farewells. The food is good and I can't say I have a favourite item on the menu. Maybe the wine. Hahaha.

I work opposite the Nicol Way shopping centre and when I don’t feel like another Woolworth’s salad, I often go to Col’Cocchio. They have an amazing selection of salads and pizzas. They offer wheat & gluten free bases as well and a cauliflower base. I’m wheat intolerant and the wheat free base is delicious, I find it better than their normal base.
My go to pizzas are: The Green Gene and The Foresta. The Green Gene is AMAZING, it is packed with veggies, toasted nuts, feta, avo, rocket and balsamic glaze. I get hungry even thinking about it.
The salads I have tasted are the: Wasa-bee (the wasabi balsamic dressing is spectacular). The Manderin is delicious, I like the subtle Asian flavours. The Brioso is also lovely, the pomegranate arils (dried pomegranate gems) are tasty and add a yummy texture to the dish.
Although they are a bit pricey, the food always tastes delicious. The ingredients are always fresh and they are not stingy at all. The service on the other hand is a bit inconsistent.
I love Col'Cacchio for two reasons: 1) As a part time veggie they have a fantastic selection of vegetarian options on their menu. 2) You can have a half and half pizza, which not all pizza places offer.. this makes it ideal for a light lunch/dinner with your partner.
My favourite vegetarian pizza is the "Green Genie", It has roasted butternut, beetroot and garlic, shitake mushrooms, parmesan cheese, feta, pumpkin, sesame seeds, sunflower seed, avocado - all topped with some greens and a balsamic glaze. Absolutely delicious.
Hubby always has the salame piccante, a simple pizza with mozzarella and spicy salami.
My other favorite treat when I come here is the Toblerone cocktail - mmmmm! It does get quite busy in the evenings , but the service never suffers.

Great pizza you definitely have to try the prostituto and the foresta. The service is usually good. We generally get take aways form them. The pizza is better then a general fast food joint.

The food was amazing! We had the bunny chow calzone pizza which is incredibly tasty. The salads are great and the puddings are pretty nice too.
Prices are reasonable and setting is nice. Only negative for us was the service, we waited over an hour for our food because a big table came in.
Col'Cacchio NicolWay is by far the best! A beautiful dining experience, with great service. I really enjoyed my salad there today, but their pizzas are a winner!

Love this Col'Cacchios, the pizzas are always fresh and covered with a generous helping of toppings. The atmosphere is also buzzing and alive with people chatting and enjoying themselves. My favourite is the "Smokey babe" pizza, covered in sweet and sticky pork meat, fresh coriander and corn kernels, may sound like an odd combinations but is o so satisfying!

This is a good spot for a lunch meeting, especially if your banting. The Banting pizzas offer a really good meal, try it nacho libre style. Service is good, the only reason why I wont rate it a 4 is because its a good average, "quick bite"type of place.

Col'Cacchio's in Nicolway has a very relaxed atmosphere and comfortable seating! They are known for their pizzas but cater for most tastes actually! I have tried a few items in their range of Antipasti's, Insalata's, Pastas, and Dolci's (or desserts) and they tend to never disappoint with their quality with little value adds like only using the best Italian parmigiano cheese - 'Grana Padano', imported from Italy and original Granoro pasta. My only gripe is the lack of toppings on some of their pizzas.
*Recommendation: If you appreciate consistent quality food, this is a place to try!

The managment of crowds on busy nights is good and your not left standing around like a fool. The menu is vast and caters to all pallets
Hey! Col Caccio has jumped on the Banting wagon. I'm not Banting, but the pizza was really really good! I'm sold and I will most definitely try it again. My husband had a Cobb salad, and my son a Spagbol with extra bacon. As one does ????. Three good meals. And I've always loved the selection of wines by the glass. Great friendly and fast service as well.
Col' Caccio is my number one pizza place. Their pizzas are always delicious; however, the service on a busy night is shocking - I ended up waiting 45 minutes for two pizzas, which were cold by the time we got them. But nevertheless, when the restaurant is emptier the food is spectacular!
Col' Cacchio in Nicolway is definitely one of my favorite pizza places! The food is always good and the staff are very friendly and always accommodating. Definitely pay them a visit if you haven't yet....
Tried Col' Cacchio's new banging pizza today. While it looked less than appetising (so much so I didn't even take a pic) it was delicious. The side salad was generous and included egg, raddish and yummy greens. The service was also quick and polite considering the busy lunch hour!
This is probably my favourite chain restaurant and the Nicolway Col'Cacchio is the best in my opinion. The service is fantastic and the food is consistently good. My favourite pizza is the moghul - I just love the Korma taste to it. So as usual I ordered the Moghul and wasn't disappointed. My pizza was served with a smile - which is always a great start to a meal - and the pizza was heavenly.
I am a big fan of Col'Cacchio's as they do make one of the best pizza's in Joburg. I especially like the Nicolway one because of the location which adds to the vibe. In addition, I have always had friendly efficient service and the staff are always so helpful.
I am not the biggest pizza eater but I do enjoy it from time-to-time...I love the Pizza Foro idea as it is pizza without the guilt of all those calories. My favourite is the Strega Foro...garlic and black mushrooms - perfect combo.
If you enjoy your pizza then you must visit one of Col'Cacchio's as you will not be disappointed.

I've always been a fan of the Col' Cacchio restaurants. Their a great group as far as pizza/pasta franchises go. You are always guaranteed to have a good meal - you know exactly what you are going to get from them! Staff were friendly and food was good. I'll be back again sometime
This is a fabulous Italian with a delicious selection of pizza and pasta. Service is good and I have found this consistent throughout the chain. This particular one is definitely a family spot - the only down side on Sunday lunch was the number of kids running around and baby prams which meant that different people at different tables had to pop and down to let them past .. Can become annoying.. Our waiter was efficient and happy to give us time to peruse the menu and order more drinks before finally deciding on what we wanted. All the food was excellent - the only food left unfinished was a pasta which did not have a cream sauce so was quite heavy - this was our mistake. If you are craving a great pasta or pizza with a difference - loads of toppings plus extras - then go to Col'Cacchios .. I would guarantee good ! And don't let me forget to mention the berry sangria .. No meal is complete without it - they have a brilliant recipe ..
