Excellent. Service is fantastic. The food is some of the best I have had in a long time. Chicken pie has very good, perfect pie crush, filling generous, chicken soft, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Chocolate fondant, rich chocolate, soft centre, very well prepared. The owner is very attentive and this is why the restaurant is of such a high standard. Very highly recommended.

Had a wonderful evening wine tasting. Food and wine were excellent and plenty of entertainment and prizes during the evening. Highly recommended.

A lovely impromptu dinner. Brilliant service with delicious food! Only one small criticism would be that we would have preferred to have our salmon served with mash and veggies instead of chips, and served in a way that highlights the quality of the food.

The service was attentive without being fussy. The staff are truly knowledgeable about the dishes on offer. Each meal was declared reeeeealy good with one of our guests saying the pork belly was the best he had ever tasted. To end the meal, our waiter surprised me with a complimentary dessert after overhearing it was my birthday. Very special.

Owner/chef greeted us, told us specials and checked on us a few more times during the evening. Impeccable service from our waiter, great wine selection, mussels and steak tartare stole the show. Main were also good. Nice ambiance. Need to book as the restaurant gets understandably busy. Will definately be back, we so enjoyed the experience.

Fantastic food and amazing service! Even in loadshedding they manage to use it to create a romantic setting to make for an unforgettable dining experience. Would recommend the Lanser's on main dining experience to anyone.

The staff are amiable and welcoming. The suggestions of the day had many scrumptious options. The duck livers served with vetkoek were delectable. They have vegan and vegetarian options. Everyone enjoyed the experience and food.

Made a booking half an hour b4 getting there. On arrival we were requested our drinks order. Took a while for us to receive our menus. We were happy with our servings and I cannot fault their dishes. Tomatoe tart I highly recommend. Should of been a complimentary accompaniment with the drinks like most upmarket restaurants have.

Lovely premium food, the special menu helps bring a unique touch to the experience. The food quality is excellent and portion sizes are good. The meat was perfect and tender with a lovely creamy sauce, better then what you get at a lot of popular steak houses. The service was great, very helpful and friendly.

What an amazing and beautiful restaurant. The food is simply exquisite and you can tell the care and attention that goes into every dish. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

We had such an incredible time at Lanser’s on Main last night for my husbands birthday. Food was superb & service just wonderful. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back! �
