Review Simply Asia Cape Gate - Brackenfell

Shop LL55, 8 De Bron Rd, Brackenfell. Being from Kuils River, this Simply Asia is probably the closest to us. But they are amazing. The staff are friendly and good at their jobs. The food is always delicious. My favourite is the chicken green curry and my husband loves the beef and green beans. He also loves their clear soup and fried rice. Because it’s communal seating in the food court, finding a seat is sometimes difficult but on those days we do take aways. 👌

The service was excellent, I really liked the friendly banter between the lady behind the counter and myself. The atmosphere inside where they prepare the food was fantastic but the seating area is outside in the middle of the food court. Therefore I cannot respond to the atmosphere. The food was delicious 😋😍

The service was so good here. I am very impressed. I even brought my sister here. The lady that assisted me was so nice with correcting a mistake. That I did not even noticed. She gave me hope again for the service industry. All the stars go to her. She really did her best in being helpfull to her customers.

The Beef curry was amazing Last place I expected a great curry The roti was authentic as well

The food is sometimes amazing and sometimes ok. I order the same thing everytime I go there, lol. The meal isn't always tasting the same. But it doesn't stoo me from going back because it is still delicious. 514 for the win.

Food is always lovely the staff is always friendly. Only problem is they are a bit pricey. Just wish they could actually lower it a bit that way u can buy more.

Awesome and delicious food. My favorite is 514. The most imp things is the consistency of the food is maintained in taste. What more can you ask for. Love to visit again

Tom Yum Ramen is so good

Simply Asia is a little piece of Asian Heaven. It's a pity they don't have a sushi bar but quality of meals are exceptional. I highly recommend them

This Simply Asia branch was a great lunch-time meal. I opted for the one with cashew nuts and would recommend it. As a chain, the packaging is great although the prices are steep.

Since the takeover, the new staff has been amazing. From front end service to quality of food, it's all really great. What an amazing turnaround from the people who were running the restaurant before! I highly recommend everyone gives this Simply Asia a second chance!

We came here for a quick lunch. So since I had some of their noodles earlier in Durbanville I thought of trying their duck gravies and rice. So ordered the duck gravies with rice. Didn't like it that much as it was way too tangy especially the dish with tamarind. But the noodles ordered by the other guys was still nice.

Ordered a take away Prawn Tom Yum Soup. The portion size was rather small for the price, by the time I got home 15 minutes later the packaging was starting to disintegrate and I had to quickly get it into a bowl. I ordered mild but it was quite strong, not unbearable though. The prawns were also a bit overcooked. Not the best I have had from this franchise.

I didn't want to write this as I was promised a phone call from management. Waited 40min for 2 takeaways after being told it would take 15min and then found a piece of hard plastic in my one dish, which cut my wife's pallet. Not good customer service!!
