What a little gem of a place to stumble on and they opened up early just to offer us breakfast! How's that for service? Food was delicious and we bought some wine too. Staff were just fabulous...so warm and friendly. A must for any traveller to the Cape.
We will keep on supporting Ecology...a little gem we discovered on our way back & forth to Hermanus. Wonderful lamb curry lunch (recipe of the chef's mom) and this morning a wholesome, hearty farmer's breakfast. Everyone so friendly & helpful ��
What a surprise when we walked in. the reception was wonderful. the food of the best. owner an his beautiful wife mingled with all the customers. will definitely go back and recommend it to everyone
Me and my Mom just had lunch at Ecology. Wow, what an experience. The service, food, atmosphere is of a very high standard! I was amazed my the friendliness of all the staff and management. It felt more like a lunch at a friends house than a normal restaurant experience. Will definitely go back and will recommend it highly!

Enjoyed the atmosphere, the helpfulness of the man at the parking gate, the helpfulness of the staff. We went for breakfast and enjoyed a delicious cup of black Americana & juice. I had scrambled eggs, macon, tomato, toast and jam and my husband had the bigger breakfast. Mine was cooked to perfection. Hot and served promptly. We wish you luck in this new venture.

Ty and the atmosphere was awesome, with the birds scampering around on the ground and in the surrounding trees. Chantelle had French Toast with fried banana and local honey and I gorged myself on the Farmhouse breakfast. Both meals were delicious and highly recommended. Will definitely make another stop there sometime .... soon.

We had the most pleasant experience at Ecology on Sunday.
Came back from a weekend away with our 2 pekingese dogs,and being a dog parent,it is always so difficult to find a spot where they are welcome. Eventough they do not advertise is,they did accommodate us and said we can come in for lunch
The food was AMAZING and everyone was so friendly
Seeing that we always take our dogs everywhere we go,this would make the perfect spot for other dog owners as well as to make a quick stop to of from your destination

What an unexpected gem. Staff are very welcoming, the wine tasting was great, but the food was so good. If you ever drive past, stop for something to eat or if you are on holiday in the area, this place is a absolute must visit.
The BEST curry I have ever eaten! For wine lovers you will be excited by the finesse of the range. Great service and outstanding hosts. The restaurant/winery is set in unique surroundings. All produce from the farm combined with a selection of herbs and spices from distinguished suppliers. Not to be missed.
This was our first visit to Ecology. The restaurant venue (room) has glass door/walls with a lovely view to the garden. We ordered Pizza and curry which were really good, tasty and well presented. The staff were also great and the wine we chose Paardenkloof Springtide Sauvignon Blanc was really delicious. The only downside was Ecology has a bit of a neglected air about the surroundings and building and the animal farm is not in a good state and definitely neglected, would be great to see some changes there and a mate for the lonesome turkey and larger areas for the goats to roam, they are climbers and adventurers and are confined in a really small pen.
We had a lovely afternoon with excellent food and wine. The lavender was beautiful and the rural setting with the resident ponies and goat helped us to unwind. The hostess was very helpful and humorous. What a nice outing away from crowds
Coming from Durban it’s hard to find a good curry with the flavour we have learned is simply the best. At Ecology our dream curry was found. The butter chicken curry is superb, as is the mutton curry. The heat is a little mild for our tongues, but they will happily give you extra chillies and atchar. It’s a regular stop now for us en route to Betty’s Bay.
What a wonderful day yesterday celebrating my husband's birthday at Ecology. From the location down to the excellent food, but most of all to Luzanna and her staff to making it so special. We stopped on our way to Hermanus for lunch and were blown away not only by the food but also the lovely location and garden. Do yourself a favor and try the Currys, they are absolutely authentic and delicious!!👌 we also had the Burger which we can highly recommend! All fresh and local ingredients and everything made on site (incl. the burger bun)! You can really feel how passionate they are about their business and food! Afterwards you can have a nice stroll around the garden! Value for money is absolute incredible! What a find😋😊
Tried the FAMOUS mutton curry (after driving past the sign on the road for years) and a white wine tasting. Perfection! Best roti I've had this side of the equator. Can't wait to back and try some of their other curries. Amazing value for money
