The place its self is very beautiful and peaceful. Staff are very friendly. The treatment was nice just abit surprised that a 90 minute body massage didn't include a head massage. The meals also where very nice. Abit of a wait with the food but I guess good food takes time π. Really enjoyed their vegetarian curry pie.
One of our most favorite places to visit for it's consistently incredible service, DELICIOUS food and lovely spa treatments. The staff and atmosphere are always warm and inviting. Always spoiled for choice on what to choose off the menu! An absolute little gem just a short drive outside of Hillcrest.
My girlfriend and I make a point of taking a drive to Tallough Spa all the way from Ballito.
The treatments, the setting and the delicious food is well worth the visit.
The staff are extremely helpful and super friendly.

From the second you arrive at Talloula you feel relaxed. The most beautiful garden setting with various birds chirping around you. Service and food is top notch. Would give them 10 stars!

What a gem! We had a really tasty and hearty lunch in the restaurant. Here you can purchase an array of gifts,etc. View is pretty good, and the gardens are awesome. I was treated to a mani and pedi, which was executed with perfection. My husband and I have been here before, and we will definitely return.
Yesterday I visited Talloula for a TeePee Picnic! It was a wonderful afternoon in the outdoors and we were really spoilt for choice πΏ You can book a teepee setup complete with blankets and pillows for R250 or picnic in their gardens at no charge (bring your own blanket). Pack your picnic from their deli (or order from their lunch menu) and wonder down to the gardens to enjoy. They are open daily from 9am - 4pm. Talloula is a breath of fresh air, set in the heart of the 1000 Hills Valley just 5 minutes from Hillcrest outside Durban.
Closed for a wedding but accommodated my family and I for a lunch at their restaurant, management here surely do know how to look after their patrons.
This place is quiet and beautiful an easy 5 out of 5 for me.

I had the pleasure of visiting this cosy petit looking yet specious establishment.
From the well manicured exterior to the majestic ambiance of interior deco that dances with simplicity and elegance π to the melodies of mother nature.
Their staff oozes with hospitable professional service, always at hand to assist. While there I thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast which was delicately platted and made my taste buds do summersaults of joy. That Egg Benedict was a slice of heaven, I tell. The barista did magic with my cappuccino, it was well balanced. (It's very rare for me to request a second cup however the brew was too decadent not to have another)
Over and above their delicious food and picturesque views there are lots of items to buy for yourself or loved ones. They also have a Spa. Talk about holistic experience.

If possible, a good suggestion would be to book a table near the window to enjoy the stunning views.
A pleasant indoor and outdoor venue offering a breakfast, lunch and tea menu. Affordable good food and great cake and dessert items. Compliments a scenic drive up Botha's Hill with lots to see.

What a wonderful find! We came upon Talloula by chance. Lovely ambience, wonderful service, charming decor and the food was well presented. Our risotto in cheese sauce was a diners delight. While the filling of the chicken and leek pie was delicious, the pastry was unfortunately not fully cooked. The hostess kindly offered to put it back in the oven, but it unfortunately didnt meet my expectations. We finished our meal off with custard filled phyllo "cigars" with a sprinkling of pistachios. A delightful, uncomplicated dessert with distinctive flavors. An overall delightful venue, which we will return too.
Friendly faces from start to finish. Hospitality is brilliant and the place is as tranquil as they come. Give it a go, you wonβt be disappointed.
