I am so happy to find a dog friendly restaurant where my French Bulldog was showered with positive attention on arrival. My Frenchie was thrilled to meet so many dog lovers. While she is still a puppy she wasn't perfectly behaved during our quick breakfast but luckily we could just walk her through the grounds to calm her down. She loved going on walks during our visit through the grounds and it all worked out really well. Thanks to The Pot and Kettle for being dog friendly - we really enjoyed bringing our dog out for some fun!

The famous pot pie at the Pot and Kettle remains a consistent winner and for the gluten free crowd, the chicken stack also impresses. What a special location for Sunday lunch as you take in the lush, green surroundings of the Valley of a Thousand Hills. Food was served fast and service was great! Also nice to support the local shops.

This restaurant sits high on a ridge overlooking the Valley of 1000 Hills. The scenery is really beautiful, so we sat in the garden to make the most of it. There is also plenty of seating inside and on the veranda which is under cover. The meals are nothing too exciting but there’s a good variety and everything we had was fresh and tasty. The potato wedges were superb!! It’s great I see that they have some Vegan options available. There are also some other goods for sale just outside the restaurant, such as beautiful mohair scarves, 2nd hand books, vintage crockery and plants! A great place to unwind. Enjoy!

This is a quaint little out of the way restaurant with an amazing view. There is lots of seating inside and outside of the restaurant. The chicken pizza is very good. The combination of fresh air and freshly made food makes for a great dining experience.

Such a lovely and pleasant experience! The service and timing of the food were both immaculate. The food itself was beautifully presented and well prepared. I loved the live music and the homely feel with a garden hugging you all around. The views are stunning! I found the pricing average, maybe a bit steep for all the drinks but you definitely pay for quality and quantity! Highly recommended! 😀

A must visit for those that love freshly made food with a view. Wheelchair friendly and plenty of seating. Helpful staff, add to the breathtaking views. Little hut stalls and a nursery compliment this fine establishment.

Such a lovely family owned restaurant. My experience at The Pot And Kettle was nothing short of amazing. The food and service were both amazing. A big thanks to Aiden for his exceptional personality for making our lunch a memorable one. The gift shop was also amazing with a wide variety of gifts for for all. 10/10 would recommend this beautiful family restaurant and view.

Love this place, delicious Sunday roast carvery. Beautiful view of the 'Valley of a thousand hills'. Enjoy live music and spectacular views while to indulge yourself in a three course Sunday roast, go back for seconds if you like. Booking essential. Afterward, be sure to visit the attractions and tourist locations in the surrounding village.

Had an absolutely chilled out lunch here with my hubby for my birthday. Our waiter, Quentin was absolutely delightful. Before seating us he noticed that the table had a little wobble and fixed it immediately. He was so attentive and welcoming and he was pleasant and always ready to give you a suggestion if you were unsure of any of the menu items. The views are so so spectacular. The air was crisp and clean. We sat on the deck which allowed us to drink in our surroundings whilst enjoying our delicious meals. We started of with Chai lattes which were so creamy and rich and prefect for the slight chill in the air. My husband opted for a Pot & Kettle Salad which was a very generous portion and he said it was divine. I had a hake and calamari combo with spiced potato wedges. The fish was cooked to perfection. It was flaky and tender. The calamari was tender and crispy but I do prefer the unbattered kind. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming and the food is so homely and fresh. A real farm to table kind of vibe. Definitely worth the little drive up the hill. I loved the little shops and kiosks in the same complex. Totally loved every minute! I 100% recommend!!

An 'A' class experience in all respects. The surroundings, the spectacular views and such unique touches in decor and furnishings. Layered patios of outside seating under umbrellas of trees and buried privately in waterfalls of hanging ferns and shrubs. The restaurant offers inside dining, chilling on the veranda or patching over the Valley of 1000 Hills. The food is devine and stylishly presented. The prices are very reasonable and the menu is comprehensive. It also caters for kiddies with a delightful play area. You have to give this spot a try. Just to note: 8/7/2020 Fully Covid compliant. Protected tables, safe service and great food from a revised menu. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Breakfast menu lunch menu and plated Sunday lunch. Probably one of the few places you can enjoy a meal out with peace of mind. Phone for Sunday bookings 👍👍👍
