Comfortable chairs. Nice and cozy. Excellant service. Friendly staff. And delicious food. Prepared with love.

The food is great - burgers, ribs, chicken wings. The only thing that made me hesitate was when they increased the price of the regular Thursday rib sale from R150 to R175 in one week. I felt cheated because we drove all that way for the bargain, which suddenly was not so appetizing. But the food is good. Definitely recommend.

Great take aways and very delicious food. Quick to server and quick to get orders out. Can also sit down and eat in a good relaxing area with great atmosphere

Had their steak special (R50 200g sirloin chips onion rings) excellent value for money. Service was quick, premises clean.

This branch has the best staff and taste I've came across. I will definitely be going there again for a quick burger.

A typical Blacksteer restaurant with a standard Blacksteer menu. Service was good & prompt without being a disturbance. Restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was nice.

Had a honey mustard chicken burger. Would recommend to anyone. Slightly on the expensive side, but definitely worth it!

Unfriendly service and the bacon & cheese burger was really not good... the worst burger I have ever eaten. They had a special on chicken wings yesterday and they did not have any chicken wings. I will not recommend this outlet to anyone and I will certainly not eat their food again.

Was really looking forward to our steak roll and burger. The steak roll had about 50g of meat on and the burger patty had no taste and weird texture. Feld like a piece of liver in your mouth. What happened to the black steer that we all love and know.

Not a bad spot for some ribs, good specials! I dont often find myself in benoni but dropped by here after a road trip due to my husbands insistence, I was pleasantly surprised :)

In comparison to Blacksteer Parkrand, absolutely shocking. Went to Parkrand Blacksteer a month or two ago, and was pleasantly surprised at how similar the food was to the original Blacksteer. <br/><br/>The Benoni location though was absolutely dreadful. Although the restaurant has the right look, everything about the service and food was a shocker. Cold food, slow service, meals arriving at different times, wrong orders, chaos in the kitchen and extremely cold with all the open doors. <br/><br/>Furthermore, you should not open a restaurant if you don't have a restroom. Being forced to walk to the other end of the shopping centre to use the public toilet is not acceptable. Even a KFC has a restroom. This location should resort to take-aways only. Definitely not a restaurant.

What a disappointment. Not the Black Steers of days gone by. Stopped off and bought burgers for a party of 6. Everybody tucked in eagerly but it was evident from the first mouthful that something was wrong. On closer inspection the beef patty looked like Husky dogfood. It tasted slimy, looked grey and consistency was bully beef like. Got back in car and drove to outlet to demand my money back. Manager said everyone been complaining since Easter. Really !! Then why still selling this substandard rubbish to customers. Stay away from this one.

We ordered a takeaway via Mr Delivery from this restaurant. Therefore I can't give a review covering all aspects of the restaurant. <br/>We ordered the 1.2kg Legendary Spareribs with the famous BlackSteer sauce. When the food arrived it wasn't warm and the box the ribs were in had gotten soggy at the bottom. The sauce on the ribs was very tasty and when we dipped the soggy chips and onion rings into it, they became kinda ok. The ribs however were so tough I could hardly bite off the meat. My teeth actually hurt from trying to chew the meat. Very very disappointing and even more so because this many ribs are not cheap to buy.<br/>Overall the meal was very disappointing and it certainly won't draw me back to this restaurant.<br/>I find this sad because BlackSteer always had a great reputation.

Excited that this brand is now back in action. But bitterly disappointed at the same time. I have seen a few complaints on social media about this one and was hoping its just the "new factor" and they still settling in. We ordered take aways last night. The standard black steer burgers, chicken livers, wings and chips. Firstly my burger had two tops of a roll.. so some poor soul is getting two bottom halves of a roll ( none being my family as we checked ours) my families burgers were very rare inside and pink unfortunately they didnt take a pic as they thought mine would also be and they knew id take a pic of mine. Mine was at least cooked. But there was absolutely no flavour to it and the patty itself has some hard fatty chunks in it. The chicken livers didnt taste nice at all the sauce and flavour was a let down. The chicken was tender but again not much flavour. The chips weren't too bad but were cold. Dont think ill be back too soon :-(
