Review Tilt Resto Bar - Boksburg

My husband is a part-time musician and one of the band gigs was at the TILT Resto. Its a cosy venue, very chique in decoration and somewhat intimate. Definitely not something I was expecting for the Boksburg area. The menu is moderately priced - similar to the kind of pricing you may find in an area like Fourways - so not the cheapest - but still decent for a night out. The stage can fit a 7 piece band snugly and the sound is amazing. A good choice for a night out.

My first visit here. For a Saturday afternoon it was packed. Nice music and a great vibe. The food was awesome. Had a burger that was so delicious and for just over R100. Alot of open spaces for fresh air. If you looking for a quiet place, then this is not for you.

Relaxed atmosphere for a lunch. We tried the Fat Baby Platter and was pleased with the quality and quantity. The burger patties were hand made and tasted great. And we had very quick service. Really enjoyed the vibe of the place.

Great Vibe. Great Music. Great Price. Great Service. The place has a high end desing and extremely good prices compared to the Bars around town. They have a dance floor as well. Cheap compared to what you'd expect. We had a Great time tonight. Thank You.

This is the kind of place where you can go to during the week to just relax after a long day at work or party on the weekend. The crown is mainly between the ages of 20 and 50 and caters for those who are looking to just have dinner in a very New York type setting or dance. The music is great, the service is excellent and the food is definitely worth every cent!

Great Venue. Awesome atmosphere, full of energy and the owners make you feel like you are family. Very nice, polite and friendly staff. Will definitely refer anyone to go here and to have a function here.

Hosted my daughter's 21st there. Best venue for informal vibey parties on the East Rand. Super helpful staff and owners. Venue upmarket and trendy with great food.

First time here, and seemingly the last time as well. Place is closing down today due to RSA's kak Covid restrictions. All the best of luck to the management and employees on their future endeavors.

Great food and good vibe. A bit pricey but specials are worth it. Food market was small and unimpressive, rather sit at Tilt all day. Great chillax place. 4 stars from me.

I've been waiting on a place to come around in the East Rand that offers class and entertainment in various ways. A very welcoming venue with a welcoming vibe from the staff and owners. Tilt is slowly but surely becoming my local hangout.

We had a lovely lunch staff friendly quick and helpful myself and my girls got a warm welcome � from the owner was honestly a great Sunday afternoon with some music and cocktails to our taste .... Well done

Spent 11 hours there yesterday!!! Good music .... band... then a DJ!!!! Friendly and accommodating staff. Great food!!! smoking aloud inside and outside !!!! An incredible vibe!!!! Loved it !!!

Great spot, great live entertainment, staff friendly and attentive. One bad thing tho, on those hot summer days... they need some fans for circulation or perhaps mist sprays. Nontheless, I'd definitely recommend it and I hope it doesn't turn into a fight ridden waterhole. Right now it's a classy comfortable chilled place to have some bevvies with friends

Just met my mom and friend there for lunch. As a Tilt virgin, I can honestly say: Wow!!! Love it. The menu is small but the food is fantastic. The owners and staff and very attentive. I recommend Tilt to anyone in need of a great atmosphere conveniently located close to the highway and as a pilot, under the landing path of runway 03R.

Something from the 'Top Draw'. Friendly attentive staff, super uncomplicated menu, food you will return for ... and then Just Chill with a Cocktail in an atmosphere that invites you to stay !!!! Our first visit will have us return again and again and .....

The Tequila and Gin Festival was not what we expected it to be. I expected more of a festival vibe and not just very loud music, a few drink stations and way over priced drinks. After buying tickets you would expect drink prices to be reasonable.

1.5 hours for food, like sitting in a ashtray! Waiter can’t tell you what Gin he served you. Music is incredibly annoying- not a great start! ...... when the food finally came it was tasty. But the overall experience- not that great.

Love this place! The vibe, the G+T on tap, the owners a brilliant, bar men are super, and they have great pizzas! Definitely our new spot and I reckon it will be for a while ��
