Had Chicken Special. I never eat chicken @ a restaurant. Only @ Bom Dia. Fabulous. Try it. Really awesome.
Spook
Nice cosy eatery smack in the middle of the south-east rand. Friendly staff and tasty food, you can't go wrong even if you just need to grab a quick fixer upper espresso!

Great variety of breads and pastries. Also the only place I could find pepper paste so kudos to you. The meats are a bit pricey but definitely good quality.

Relaxed environment, service excellence; their Food is mouthwatering and prepared fresh. Not forgetting fresh bakery; Portuguese rolls that will make you miss your grandmother cooking. Comfort food! I highly recommend them anytime.

Food is good..was disappointed that they don't serve chips with the wraps.. Smoothie was the best. Pancake with chicken mayo was delicious.

I love this little place in the heart of Sunward Park. Lots of biscuits delicacies, & bread to choose from & a great, but simple menu. Wishing u well Vivianna. I'll definitely be back again & again...

Quaint Portuguese traditional pastries are superb....we go there 3 times a week, generally sitting outside(Weather permitting) The atmosphere is like sitting in a Parisian sidewalk cafe, sans Parisien. Worth a visit.

03.02.2019 It is hard to find breakfast spots that open as early as 8am on weekends. We were meeting up with a friend and tried to find somewhere in boksburg that opens early with a decent variety for brekkie.

Bom Dia has been on my list for a while, so luckily we all agreed. They are known for their breads and other baked goodies, when we walked in the shop was full of breads, rolls, doughnuts, croissants, heaps of Pastei de Nata ( for all those that love them) and other delectable tartlets which i managed to refrain from.

I actually wanted Milho Frito and Prego for breakfast (yes it was 8am so don't judge) but sadly they were out of Milho Frito so i changed my order to an Eggs Benedict, our friend had the Bolognaise Omelette and my sis had the Crostini Melt. It was so nice sitting outside catching some sunshine as it was a beautiful Sunday morning.

The place filled up quite quickly and people coming and going for their bread orders.
We ordered something to drink, i had my usual Cappucino with Cream, my sis had her railway coffee and our friend had the Cafe Latte with cream. Sadly it wasn't proper fresh cream, more like Orley Whip so we didn't enjoy it as much.

Our food arrived and we tucked in. Every thing made fresh and tasty. My eggs Benedict needed a bit of seasoning, and I enjoyed the health bread they used as the base.

They have some good options for breakfast and lunch, definitely a spot to try again for lunch menu next time. If not, and you just have a sweet tooth then visit to get yourself some of their indulgences. Just don't blame me if you gain weight 🤣

#TheFoodMusketeer
#TheFoodMusketeerEats
#TheFoodMusketeerDrinks
#TFMBomDia

Their platters are awesome. You can even change items on the platters. Excellent quality food. Prices very reasonable.
As for management and staff, they are always very friendly and helpful. Love this place.
This is my go to place for home catering, there platters are great, affordable and always ready when I get there. The owner is always happy to chat but the selection is limited and I have seen the staff being scolded in front of customers, but that is probably a one sided observation.

Really just your average coffee shop with a Portuguese twist. Went for breakfast, small inside with a little deck outside staring on to a parking lot and abandoned mine shaft. The food was fine, plain Jane nothing to get too excited about, if you there eat something but not worth the drive to get there. Prices are very cheap though, service prompt and friendly.

Fresh, Clean and home style type breakfast with outstanding coffee and cappuccino, Mainly focus around the deli and bakery their meals are definitely worth a try. Their freshly baked Croissants either keeping it simple with Jam or filling it with a breakfast are delectable. A range of traditional breakfasts are also on offer and most meals have a Portuguese twist and use their freshly baked fares .
