I love the special days because this is simply cheap and anyone could have a 5 star meal for a very low price. The service is also excellent.
The food is so yummy, I definitely enjoy a good meal here (however it is slightly overpriced for what you are actually getting.) The service is fast, efficient and well mannered.
This is a perfect family restaurant with a wonderful play area outside for children.
As always the food was brilliant and the portions more than generous glad to have been again. The table had more than 10 people and no one had an issue with their dish the waiter Sherlok was friendly and polite. Will be back.
The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is so friendly as they greet you by the door. It was a bit more expensive than i would have thought, but the waiter was excellent and diligent. The food is delicious, but would not recommend the creamed spinach.
When Mike started his kitchen back in 1939, he had two things in mind: serving great food, and not being drafted and subsequently dying in the War. One of those things became a reality, and so today you get the privilege of being served the food that dear old Mike wanted to personally serve you, the gentle gourmand.
The lindt bon bon parcel thing has the potential to literally kill you if you have diabetes, it's that good!
The kids decided that we should have our mother's day lunch. Due to the nature of the day it being mother's day and all we arrived to a packed out parking lot. Fortunately we had made table reservations and when we arrived were quickly ushered to our table overlooking the play area. The eldest enjoys the milkshakes here and was trying out the different flavours. The wife ordered her bottle of wine which we didn't have to wait long for. We settled upon the 3 course a la carte menu, where I settled for the sweet sticky wings for starters, had the fillet steak for mains and wrapped up the lunch with cheesecake. The kids had the Margarita pizza whilst the other enjoyed the fish nuggets. Overall a good mother's day lunch and will definitely return when it is less busy. I give 10/10 to Princess for being the most gracious hostess ever.

This is one of those hidden gems. I don't know why it isn't busy? The first time we had fillet and chips. Which was awesome. And we thought well maybe it's first time lucky.
Went there again last night, and they did not disappoint. The food was awesome yet again. And the service was great.
Fast forward a few weeks in and we are just amazed at the food quality of this place. Darn the ribs are good...
Second time at Mike's Kitchen. Managers and waitrons very friendly and efficient. Very accomodating for those with allergies. Be sure to speak to the managers before ordering, to confirm ingredients. Plain flame grilled steak, prawns and samp. The prawns were very tasty; the samp nice and tender; having asked for the steak well done, it was quite crispy and dry. This meal is very dry as it is, so would suggest a sauce to go with it.
A hidden gem in Boksburg! Barely visible from the road but a no-nonsense, old-school steakhouse. Still themed like MK's of the past with good food, reasonable prices and generous portions. Fantastic service helps makes the experience great.

P.S. their signature fillet steak is a must-try.
Two of us went for the pensioner buffet, reception was friendly and helpful, waiter was attentive though we went early and were seated before the restaurant filled up. Choice of meat was limited but our choice of beef and pork were cooked to perfection there was a good choice of freshly cooked vegetables (often a serious failing with most buffets) and a wide choice of salads. We were very impressed and will definitely be back.
