The prawn curry at Blue Marlin is absolutely superb. They have very friendly and thoughtful waiters as well.
Always good at Blue Marlin. Outstanding quality seafood, and the other dishes, Oxtail, Lamb Shanks also good. I haven't had a bad meal at this restaurant. The prices are good and the waiters very friendly and efficient.
This place is something different, and not moulded on the franchise model - owner operated establishment. It casual and dare I say, homely.
Wow! What a surprise. Apart from the warm atmosphere when we walked in there, the music was the best I've heard in a long time. I ordered the jumbo fish. This was actually the best I've eaten in a long time. Wife had the carpetbagger (got to get glasses next time) meat - soft, juicy. Definitely going back on a Friday night again.
The best and freshest fish (and other dishes) you can get in town. Never disappointed and the service is always top notch.

Went their for my bday and wasn't disappointed. Had the seafood Poitjie and can highly recommend it.
Went there in father's Day. Built my own platter of seafood. Everything was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Waitress was very friendly and efficient.

Kind of like an all in one - A down to Mykonos OTC retail Seafood shop that stocks really classy stuff for the home chef, with a walk in, off the traffic takeaway that does pretty much anything you want - Hake & Chips, Calamari rings, tubes, grilled or fried, prawns from baby size to big boss; langoustines, lobsters, mussels, crabs, oysters - the works! The only thing I never saw - my favourite - Scallops! but maybe they're seasonal.
But then, turn the corner and park at the back/on their premises, and enter and experience all of the above, served with your regular mix of drinks in a relaxed, not too posh but nice setting. Ánd, at not too posh prices.
