Review Mugg & Bean - Boksburg

Food was absolutely delicious 😍 Only problem I had was when we got there, there was no waiter to serve us and waited about 15 minutes after we sat down. After that our waiter was absolutely fantastic!!

Had a great break away for breakfast. They were very busy but still had on the ball service and food was delicious. Will definitely recommend them. Presentation was lacking, place was neat and clean and everyone assisted where possible.

Good experience! Friendly staff. Food prepared well. New menu takes some getting used to. But so far the different menu is refreshing and welcomed. Sets the franchise apart from other similar places. One complaint. Side bins need to be moved to the back , the smell affected some tables. Pricing is decent. Well recommended!

The food is definitely the Mugg & Bean standard, presentation is great and the flavours of the dishes meld together very well. The beverages are mediocre, and taste like cheap ingredients are used (I could distinctly taste powdered milk in my salted caramel latte) so that was disappointing. The service is really doing the bare minimum. But the overall experience is good

Really good food and the restaurant is well maintained We had good service so no complaints. Enjoyed a brunch with a friend. The coffee is always slightly too hot but this is franchise related rather than the individual branch.

The staff were friendly and the food was great. The location of the Mugg & Bean is ideally located in the open food court area. It's usually less busy than the other restaurants. Overall a good experience and would reccomend them. They have a nice variety on their menu and majority of menu items are delicious. You can expect the good Mugg & Bean quality

We have just finished having an awesome lunch at Mugg and Bean ERM and our server LAIN was absolutely A M A Z I N G. Please don't change as it is people like you who gives us a reason to come back! Thank you for having us. We will see you again!

What an awesome breakfast have to give you credit at 7:15 and you were ready to roll The breakfast was done to perfection sunny side eggs that’s cooked to perfection and eggs Benedict perfect. ThĂ© bacon đŸ„“ was crispy and tasty well done. Coffee in a mug of that is the way South African’s drink coffee not in a tee cup. Services-was awesome the waitress had a smile and it looked like she wanted to serve us. A added bonus was that our parking was validated as well.

Located opposite the MR Price store in Eastrand Mall, near Exit Four (4) of the shopping centre. Just had brunch here and I can honestly say that their food is really good. I got exactly what I ordered (this is after asking them to remove an item from the dish and to replace it with something else). The service here is standard, I can’t really fault anything, you get service immediately but it just somehow lacks that warmth. Again I can’t fault the staff here because of it, I just feel it’s the standard in the Mugg and Bean franchise. This is the only reason why I have deducted a point is because they are all the same. It’s the same atmosphere as all the others and it just lacks that WOW factor to make this one any different from any other franchise. I do commend them though for giving you a free parking ticket for the parking lot - that is something quiet nice of them. As I say give them a try.

The buttermilk chicken burger is a must have. Bottomless hot chocolate was great too. Everyone was so friendly

Mugg and Bean East Rand Mall is by far one of the best Mugg and Beans I have been to. Food is always good quality and the service also the best. Waiters are always friendly and ready to help with a smile.

This was the worst Mugg n Bean experience I have ever had. Food orders wrong - portion sizes minute. Chicken dry and over cooked and dark brown from old oil! Left feeling quite sick and so disappointed as we have never experienced such bad food and service from a Mugg n Bean before!!!

Absolutely pathetic. Order soft poached eggs and twice it comes out medium hard. Tells me it is the softest an egg can be poached? You should not be in the food industry! Can anyone recommend a restaurant with a chef that knows what they are doing?

Not again. That's it. As a regular customer I expect to get what I pay for. Grey mushy livers on a croissant and a 2 cm piece of brown lettuce on a toasted chicken mayo ïżœ

M & B is a franchise so you know what you are going to get. The franchise in the ERM is no exception. Atmosphere in a busy area is " grab & gobble" but at least it's lively, prices are creeping up and the "add ons" which are always offered to menu meals I would consider as expensive .

So on 7 Sept at about 9.30. Me and my Girlfriend go out for Breakfast to M&B eastrand mail. Me feeling like something nice and diffrent. Normally we go to Cappuccinos witch is just afew Feet from you. So we look trough the Menu and see prices are abit hi but if its value for money than its cool. So first i order a BBQ pulled port Torta sandwich. Witch your waiter replied to they dont have the Torta bread but would do it on a Hamburger bun. I said no and desided to go for a Beef and Butternut squash pot Pie. Waiter goes and comes back to tell me that they dont have Butternut. So i settled for a toasted sandwich witch for the damn price i would think this would already include the Onion rings but nope thats just a small sandwich no sides you pay extra for that. Lets see if you guys can redeem youselfs.

I have just ordered breakfast and advise what not to put on my plate due to allergies , and they put them on , the manager took the place away and a minute later brought out a "new" one , but just with out the item on it , when I challenge this due to the same eggs etc and asked her a ought cross contamination she was dumb struck . I did not eat it but paid for my coffee # chk 8366 , I was offered the coffee free but refused this as I did not come here to get a free coffee I came for a breakfast that would not kill me !!!!!!

Inspite of being super busy the service is superb. The staff is very attentive and Mandy was a great, friendly waitress.

Worse service ever. Won't support them again. And then the Manager makes it worse by telling stories. Really.
