Review Birchwood Spur - Boksburg

2023/11/02 This must be one of the best Spurs on the East Rand and with the Spur at Atlas mall are our favourites. We ate a delicious meal, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was electric ⚡ and we had a good time. Well done Spur!

My sister ordered the rib and wings combo for brunch, while I had 12 wings. While the other items were excellent, we weren't too fond of the wings. My companion enjoyed a glass of wine, while I had a mocktail. We received service from Miss Zanele🥰, who was simply fantastic. The customer service was exceptional 😊🥰 I also like to thank the Manager, Mr. Phillip😊, for the delectable complementary dessert, which was out of this world😌. I value the superb service💯

If only 6 stars existed... I recently visited Spur and had an outstanding experience. The service was exceptional, with minimal wait time for our meal. The staff, particularly our waiter Raymond and manager Thabo, went above and beyond. They promptly identified and addressed any concerns, ensuring our satisfaction throughout. Their attentiveness and helpfulness added to the overall positive dining experience. Highly recommended!

Went in for quick breakfast and was welcomed with a smile and told to sit anywhere I want to. Within a few minutes I was already attended to by a friendly and warm waitress. I had a wonderful breakfast and the waitress kept checking if I'm ok throughout my meal.

We had a great dinner experience at the Spur. The food was well prepared and in proper portions. Anna took very well care of us. We also had a baby in the group and she prioritised the well-being of our little one. We were well informed about the specials for the evening and the general vibe in the restaurant was friendly. Their hygiene concept was clear from entrance screening to hand disinfection on the tables. There’s plenty of safe parking. We’ll definitely be back again!

Loved the food. Had lamb, perfectly cooked for my taste and chicken nachos which were yummy. The staff were very accommodating. Will definitely go back

Anna served us on Wednesday and was she good! Especially with our little Spur fans. Will make sure she serves us next time.

Service level was really up there. What I love is that they have an overseer for their children's plat area, make sure different age groups play separately. Peace for parents to relax and enjoy their time there. ❤️🎈❤️🎈❤️🎈❤️🎈🎈🎈

Seemed like a very popular restaurant, the restaurant was crowded with people. There was a great admosphere with people enjoying their breakfast meals. Our food were served very quick and looked and tasted great. We feel it was value for money spend, we had a good time.

Always have a lovely time here, excellent service! Sphe is always giving the best customer care and Lumka such a lovely waitress, in fact all the waitresses we have had are wonderful and give great service. Food is always good and the kids have the best time! We love coming here ❤️

Had Breakfast there. Food good, but Service was not the best. No follow-up by the person who took you to your table and promised your Waiter would be there shortly! Annoying!

Food was fabulous, had starters and main meal. We had the Calamari Starter and the Cheesy Prawn Starter were both very tender and tasty. The Chicken Liver Starter was Spicy as described. The Fillet Steak was done perfectly, Medium Rare as requested. It was excellent, soft and tender - the knife went through it like butter. The Hot Veg side was well seasoned (Spinach, Pumpkin and Sweetcorn). Cocktails and Mocktails options available too. Americano coffee was served in a full size mug with the option of hot or cold milk. Cash was our waiter and provided fantastic service. Loyalty program where you get a R50 voucher to use on your next visit to this branch.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time at Birchwood Spur last night... The waiter was prompt and friendly and the food not only looked delicious, but was. Thank you so much for your part in building great memories. We had so much more, but the Nachos starter, the Barone waffle and the Peppermint Crisp Tart looked so yummy, I completely forgot to take photos before we dug in.

Food is excellent, but service is a bit slow. Had to look around for our server despite it not being busy.

The waiter was friendly, but the food was horrible.. I orderd a cheddamelt burger, the patty was burnt and my buffalo wings wer so dry and hard... Told the waiter but ddnt do anythn about it, he just said sorry! �

Been coming here for ages but never had such a rotten experience as today. First of all our burgers were wrong, my mums chicken was dry and chewy. Then our dessert order was completely wrong. We ordered ice cream and chocolate sauce and Malva pudding and got cheesecake?? �. Don’t even know if there was a manager on duty because we never saw them. The place was empty so have no idea how today was such a disaster. Very disappointed �.

Had a great experience our waiter Cash reminded me that Customer Service is Key, Although the Manager Brett never attended to us....Cash made up for his flaws

The waiters were very friendly though I felt a little bit interrupted because we wanted to chat first over cool drinks and eat later but waiter kept coming asking if he could take the order. And there wasn't mango Juice. Not sure if it was just yesterday so settled for Orange Juice. Otherwise it was all good. I was impressed when the manager stopped by to check and he greeted me in Bemba, a Zambian language

Had my daughter's 8th birthday in Jan at Birchwood. All I can say is WOW. They are wonderful food was amazing. Not only did the birthday girl get an ice cream. All the kiddies got one. Plus a party packs. Only spur I will go to every again. Thanks for making my daughter's birthday amazing.
