If you are looking for a fantastic place with best bang for your buck, then look no further. We had a great experience here. The food was simply exquisite at everything was fresh. The place has a nice cozy feel about it and the vibe is refreshing, especially if you are looking for breakfast. The red velvet cheese cake was absolutely exquisite. The value for quality food is simply amazing for what you get.

Always a treat! The location is perfect! You will have a perfect view of table mountain amd the ocean in from of you. The staff is always very kind and helpful- making the experience very homey and welcoming. The food is great! I love trying all the different cakes and quiches that they have on display... I have never ever been disappointed. Prices are very reasonable. Well worth a visit.

Awesome place. Good food and friendly people. Good service and the staff, always willing to help. The food is always much more than what the menu say. And for the price, it is worth it. Went there ones and now I find myself going there almost every Sunday. And when you are done have a great meal, you can take a lovely walk along the beach front. Amazing views. Just love this place.

Unique location right on the sea and rocks, with fantastic views of the the ocean and Table Mountain! Very interesting and original menu with great soul/comfort food, punctuated by some elegant options. Best range of breakfast menu I've seen. Amazing selection of delectable sweet treats and desserts. Very good coffee. Very good and hospitable service.

Café Petits Fours is now Café Blouberg (since 01/12/17). The owners are still the same though. The food is great, there are many healthy options, too. The service is nice and the view on Table Mountain is breathtaking.

All day breakfast. Who can complain with that? One guest said it's the best accompanying salad at a restaurant. Expect to wait for the food. It's worth it.

It's ALWAYS REALLY GOOD!! They have the BEST view of Table Mountain!! We always enjoy the food here- big hearty portions & very reasonably priced. They have a range of home baked pies which they serve with gravy- SO GOOD!! They have an interesting menu with lots to choose from. Café Blouberg is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! You might see us there!!

Had a wonderful, light, yet filling breakfast at Café Blouberg. It was packed the morning that we went, so we did have to wait at the entrance for 10-15 minutes, so I do suggest booking beforehand if you want a table ☺️service was a bit slow, but it was understandable as the restaurant was super busy and our waitress had to tend many tables at the same time as ours. Overall, it was a good experience and the view was AMAZING!

The all day breakfast cafe is so much more than a breakfast cafe. The service and food is immaculate. One of our party was vegetarian and the options blew his mind. The best way to start your day is to eat like a rich person with the pocket of a poor person while looking at the mountain in a great atmosphere.

Cafe Blouberg is a family favorite and is a gift that just keeps on giving. Great place, great view. Friendly staff. Good coffees. Great food! You can expect my family there often.

This is a stunning little restaurant across the road from Blouberg Strand, giving you an absolutely fantastic view of Table Mountain. Even from the back of the restaurant we had a view. The food is excellent, as is the their service and food options. The whole place is clean and neat with a beautiful design, and with such agreeable prices, you can't miss this little place.

Coffee always good but was disappointed with the carrot cake “cup cake” or “muffin” - not sure what to call it - it was dry and icing not great and the semi whipped blob of cream was gross - ask if customers want cream next time instead of dumping it on a plate please. The setting and staff are great, I’ve eaten brekkie there a few times which was good but won’t go back for carrot cake again, even M&B is better.

Finally a concept that totally suits me - breakfast all day long Great little place with fantastic views of Table Mountain. Food is really good and staff super friendly. A must visit at Bloubergstrand

We all loved our food. Freshly prepared always the best. The steak fold over was perfect. My choice. My daughter said her burger was delicious and my dad enjoyed his pork off the bone. The staff all very friendly. And the view is stunning on a beautiful sunny day. I purchased quite a bit of cake as this was my main reason for going. I took the cake home. The Apple was dry even though I warmed it for a few seconds for the sauce to melt. Even the carrot cake. The problem with the cake was the fact that it was not freshly baked on Sunday. And the name itself screams cake. I will go anytime for the food. The food was well worth the wait.

Its the second time we try to have breakfast without any luck. Open at 08:00 doesn't mean you unlock the front door at 08:15. Couldn't serve breakfast because there is no staff. No ice cream, no ice. Crap attitude. Sad as we live around the corner. If you want to open shop at 08:00 start getting ready from 06:00.

We used to love driving to Bloubergstrand to enjoy breakfast at Petits and unfortunately had a poor experience which was a first for us. Our food, although beautifully displayed was cold. My wife's oats with pear and roasted nuts, was missing nuts and had 2 peaces of tinned pear with no sauce. After we had a discussion with a disagreeable waitress that did not know that part of the menu, we ended up getting a bowl of nuts after the meal was nearly over. I hate rating a place as poor, but unfortunately our experience was what it was. I hope that our experience is isloated and that the guys can bring the standards back to where it belongs.

Absolutely adore petits fours! Every time we are in the Cape having breakfast at this gorgeous Cafe is at the top of our todo list! Never had a disappointing meal here and would highly recommend it to anyone!

A first time at Petit Fours. Quaint little place with a beautiful view of the beach. The meal I had was different, tasty and well worth the visit. Chicken Cheesecake I definetly will recommend.

Took my retired mother for an afternoon outing to Petits Fours on Friday. I had the warm apple sponge cake with fresh whipped cream, which was gorgeous to look at and heavenly to eat! The flat white that went with it was equally divine. Mom had butternut soup that tasted okay, but arrived at the table cold. We waited for a few minutes to grab the attention of the friendly waitress but she had vanished... eventually I took the plate of soup towards the kitchen myself, where someone took it from me and brought it back a few minutes later, sufficiently warmed. The location and view is fantastic, but would benefit greatly from clean windows. This is probably a task that should be done once or twice daily, as the spot is right on the beach - even so, it would be totally worth the effort as it would improve the impression of hygiene, cleanliness and the overall experience. In summary: a great spot with great food and friendly service. A little bit more training to your staff and attention to detail would make it just about perfect! Keep up the good work; build on your strengths.

Burger was to die for! I had it quite a while ago and was on a special. I still rave about it being the best burger I've ever tasted with quality beef patty, avo, onion marmalade and all things good between two buns!!! * I hope to try it again soon and bring some friends along. The vibe is also just beautiful

Very disappointed! My previously favourite place is going to the dogs. Made a booking 3 weeks ago for the middle table at the window only to get there and be squashed into the corner. A table of 8 was getting preference!! The food was very good as always but the cake is more and more disappointing every time I now visit. So embarrassed as my best friend drove all the way from Durbanville. Also the windows were dirty and the place is just getting run-down. Definately have to think about going there again, very sad!!

There has really been a quality slide in this place. Used to be Petit Fours...Asked for a glass of water. They refused me and said they only serve still or bottled water. This used to be a nice place, not sure what happened here, vibe changed...
Cynthia Waters
From the time we walked in, the service and food was outstanding. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were asked if everything was ok quite a few times. We would highly recommend Petit Fours to anyone.

It is so cosy & right on the water's edge. Food portions are more than enough. A real little hidden gem. Love going there in stormy weather.

Cosy, elagant, homely, amazing view, (the health bread needs salt and not be burned when toasted).. But thats like minor.. All other food is amazing.

The greatest pies in town with the yummiest gravy, and very tasty burgers. Love this place and the surrounds.

Took my Mom to have lunch today. I had the chicken cheesecake which I really enjoyed, Mom had the lamb and feta pie which wasn't very good- very dry and it seemed like who ever made the gravy dropped a whole pot of pepper into it. The waitresses were friendly but service was rather shocking. Your selection of cakes/ sweet treats wasn't great, we decided to pick some of what was on offer to bring home and have later. I had the carrot cake - which after eating a small amount I discover mold on the pineapple. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I'd told my mom about your restaurant for a while and how much I liked it but I/we won't be coming back. Regards

What a fantastic gem so well hidden. Can see why the locals keep this place a secret! Will definitely see me again
