We're so blessed as capetonians to have such a cool spot right on our doorstep. I was treated to a surprise birthday dinner at Jerry's and it was great! Linda had the chicken sliders while I went, as usual, for something a little more spicy - roll on the Afterburner :) Other meals at the table included ribs, soft tacos, a rib & wing combo and pulled pork nachos. It was excellent - can strongly recommend Jerry's in Tableview

For ages I've been hearing from friends that Jerry's makes the best burgers, so I don't know why it took me so long to try it out!
Truly the best burger I have ever tasted! I ordered the Fab (with cheddar instead of feta) and boyfriend ordered the Jack D with a double patty. Wow wow wow, we can't wait to go back!

THE BEST WAFFLES EVER. Super fluffy and great sauces. Their burgers are also very good and worth the price. Also nice to sit and eat with a gorgeous view of table mountain and the ocean.
I've eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. The service is always good. You have to try the cheese bombs starter - they are sublime. Both burgers and dogs are tasty and delicious. My favourite cocktail is a Dude's White Russian, which not a lot of places make, so I always grab one when I'm there. Great location on the beachfront. A good place for a drink after work and watching the sun set.
Buzzzz vibe - great. Serious about food - great menu. Mexican flavours and creativity with dishes a real treat - wish I could export complete concept to the land of the Rock Spiders ...Fast, effective service
Chef Gerri's approval! What an absolute beaut of a view, amazing burgers with fries and speedy lightning services! The music also touches my G spot fitting the whole theme of the place like my lego building childhood, just a -1 star for the wet burger wrapper fusing into my burger, although that should make the vegans feel a bit more at home. Lovely place!
Always my place of choice for the best burger.
The burgers are tasty and unique - my favourite is the Frenchy, which is covered in a blue cheese sauce. The buns are tasty too - something that most places forget to focus on. The skinny fries are plentiful and fresh. If you’re not in the mood for a burger (craziness!!), the bacon-wrapped hot dog is out of this world. Arrive hungry!
The service is always spot on and the view is unparalleled.

Been before, but the food lacked flavour and the service was average. I originally rated it a 3 and was hesitant to go back. So glad I did though. Food was outstanding and I felt like I had a food baby growing in me, but I couldn't stop eating. My waitress, Rix, was top notch and even helped me decide on exactly the right beer to go with my mains. Will definitely be back. Thanks Rix!
Good food with a great atmosphere! Went here on a Wednesday night for a take away to find the place packed with people! Ordered from the barman but had to wait quite a bit due to the amount of people. Their Baby Cheeses burger was very tasty and Peanut Butter and Banana milkshake delicious. They could serve it with a bigger straw though.. Perfectly suitable for groups or couples.
Recommended as his favorite Cape Town burger by Lucianrajah so I had to give it a go, brilliantly located on Blouberg Beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the majestic Table Mountain. Service was impeccable and the waiting staff was very attentive providing suggestions of the more popular orders. I opted for the Jerry Burger which was excellent, the patty and roll were on point and flavors well balanced. The only flaw was perhaps the sweet potato frys which were very underwhelming, other than that though it was well worth the visit.
PS. I also stole a few sips on my wife’s strawberry shake with I thought was divine.
Hands down the best burger place ever....the lucy burger is amazing....the size of the burgers are huge and so juicy... Im so going back there and recommend it if you a burger fan.. Well done jerry's tableview...thanks bevan....;)
Awesome place to have some of the best burgers in town, they can be very busy on the weekends so best to book or get there early, it is vibey so if you are looking for a quite dinner look elsewhere. But for a few drinks and awesome burgers they cant be beat.

Having seen Jerry's so many times l was deterred from going there thinking that it would be too pubbish for my liking.
Having an early day from work, l decided to go for lunch at 12.
Besides the daunting staircase, which limits age and disabilities, l was really impressed to see people coming in in light of the economy - being midweek and mid month.
Well it was no surprise when my spouse and l tasted the burgers.
I had the SWEET BABY CHEESES and she had the FRENCHIE.
Although the food arrived cold, it was fast rectified and we were even offered free drinks or desserts. We declined the offer but were impressed by the service.
Service food presentation taste quality and view were beyond superb.
Where they lost their 1 point is because the food, as beautifully presented as it was, is impractical eating off a little tray with paper as the paper gets cut and mixes in with the food.
The onion rings looked gorgeous - huge and puffy but unfortunately tasteless. They need to season or flavour the batter.
On the whole, a super burger and yes, we will go back.
It certainly smells like a pub with the smells of smoke and alcohol absorbed by the fittings and furnishings.
The boardroom is an outstanding idea.
The little children's room was extremely cute but l would be loathe to think of adults hanging out at the bar and leaving their children to be self entertained. The environment somehow doesnt feel conducive.

Burgers a good...only really do takeaways. I have eaten there a few times, but there are other buger bars which are better. The times that sat and eaten there the staff always seem running around. Nice view, prime position if you get a window table the view is really nice. Especially if its a non windy day in blouberg the balcony can also be super pleasant.
The food has been amazing every time - best burgers in town. They have friendly staff and good service. It has a relaxed feel that I like and the best view of all!

Great burgers and great beer. However at night the music is too loud, causing others to have to yell to communicate creating even more noise... Takes away from the relaxed experience it could be with friends.
I'll state this from the get-go; it's my favourite burger in the Western Cape. A mouth-watering menu that writes cheques the burger can annually cash! The freshness of the bun, unique ingredients and a quality patty all combine to produce one of Cape Town's finest. Sweet potato fries add were perfectly cut and the list of craft beer is plentiful. Awesome for a night out or a lazy lunch. So good I crave it from time to time!

Epic burgers and beer venue - vibey and relaxed with great tunes.
On order: 2x Frenchys for the blue cheese lovers; the fab and a Jack D! The brioche bun and skinny fries round out the dining experience.
Side notes: they serve Newlands Spring Passionate Blonde (which I looove), the onion rings are huge and are meant to be shared & the homemade ice-teas are too sweeet!

I love Jerry’s. Their burgers are fantastic, the service is good, and they always have a great vibe. The one in Table View has the best view by far, and there’s nothing as enjoyable as watching the sun set from the rooftop section whilst drinking a beer with friends.
I’ve tried a few different burgers and they’re all good. The Sloth is definitely my favourite, but when I’m not that hungry, their Cheapskate burger with the spicy cheese sauce is perfect. Do try the Cheese Bombs as a starter – it will blow your mind.
I'm getting hungry just thinking about this. Time to go back and try some new burgers!

Excellent service....we arrived at Jerry's....and CPT after 10 hour drive from PE. We were kindly told that they were full but....they made a plan for weary travellers! Thank you! The food was a taste sensation as far as burgers go. We also felt it had a family friendly vibe....we will be back when in the Cape again.

Jerry have a great selection to choose from from korean flavours to mexican and haven't fallen into that trap of overcharging for their burgers because of their popularity.
This location stands out cause you can enjoy the beautiful sea view as we as having a stunning view of table mountain.
The selection of drinks is decent and they have multiple beers on tap, I'm not a beer drinker myself but I do like the peach cider!
Fast food with a twist!
Love the vibe and the food is great. Bookings, reservations and finding an open spot can be frustrating but once there, really great place to hang out!
Even if you just go for the view, Jerry's in Table View is a winner. Overlooking table mountain and the sea, the restaurant has a great vibe, good music and wonderful staff. The food is not to shabby either! Burgers are a must, no matter the topping. The onion rings are truly delicious (eat them while they're hot, though). And if you're having a craft beer, wine off their long wine list or a milkshake, you will not be disappointed!
I don't often get blown away by burger restaurants, I generally think a burger is a burger. Until I visited Jerry's. Shattered nerves. Such an amazing burger! The proportions of meat to bun to filling was spot on. The burger was juicy, tender and had amazing@ flavour. The shoestring chips are equally as good. Topped off by really good service, and great music, Jerry's is a winner.
Last night friends of mine invited me to Jerry's Burger Bar. Quite an interesting place. Go up the stairs to the restaurant area. Once you reach the top, on the right there is a space for kiddies to keep themselves busy while the adults have a good time on the left (in the restaurant).
The manager welcomed us and took us to the table (advisable to book a table). Ordered drinks and had a look at their menu. Menu is interesting too. The different burgers they've got on it and the more interesting part is the burgers with the filling.
I opted for the Sloth burger (stuffed with Cheddar, jalepenos and topped with avo and bacon). The waiting time wasn't bad at all and when the food arrived, I tucked into mine!
Burger was good! I would still like to try the other ones on the menu.
Recommended if you like burgers and book in advance!

Ordered the drunken chicken with a side of blue cheese dressing and my mouth still waters at the memory of the taste. Yum. Chips are hmmm.... Not great..... But quite frankly.... Irrelevant

I ordered the small portion onion rings for a starter and the size was unbelievable. They are very generous with their portions because I couldn't even finish my food.

Man one of the best burgers is town. Their Jack Daniels burger is amazing. Had an amazing hotdog wrapped in bacon and avo. Absolutely delicious. Friendly service and great vibe. Only reason I am not giving them a five rating is that their batter for their chicken strips and poppers really does not fit with the rest of their quality food. It really needs some work. Also their selection of craft beer is very limited. Otherwise great place.
I really like this Jerrys! The place is always busy, especially at night which creates a nice atmosphere. But at the same time because of this some times the food takes a little long to arrive but we have never been stressed about that. The staff is friendly and the food is always good and up to standard when it does arrive though which is great. I am a vegatarian and its really nice to have more than one option on the menu for dinner as many of the bugers the beef or chicken can be swopped out for a vegatarian patty.
On one visit we arrived without a booking so couldn't get a table that we wanted but it wasn't a hassle to share - although my sister wasn't too pleased at all! In the end though she was very happy as her now fiance from JHB surpriced her there after finding out where we are and proposed. The management were amazing and organised us a table to ourselves right away which was really great of them.

First time at Jerry's and it was lovely. The restaurant's decor is epic with industrial touches and picnic benches, the vibe is buzzing and it was full to the brim - which is always a good sign.
I ordered the pulled pork and a couple ice cold black labels, my partner had the steak burger and a
Strawberry milkshake and our friend had the veg burger.
The pulled pork was soft, tender and delicious, the only thing I would say that it was too salty for me. Their chips are freaking amazing and I even had a bite of my other half's steak burger which was equally as lovely.
All round I think it's a great place to get a good bite to eat and a cold one on a nice warm day.
The food was devine! The burgers were delicious. Fresh soft rolls, 100% beef party's, crisp toppings. Amazing. I loved every single bite of my meal paired with a cold bottle of Savanna Dry 🍔🍻 and the view was just the cherry on top 🍒
Jerry's is a cool place for friends to hang out and enjoy an awesome burger, some ribs or in my case... The cutest waffle I've ever seen. I can only fault them on service, but perhaps that was situational because my waitress was not very good. I would definitely come back.
Wow love ❤️ this place. The music is the best been a long time since we had AC/DC playing at an eating joint. Keep the music rocking guys. We had burgers,chicken and beef, both were juicy and tasty and my hot dog was perfect, oh love the skinny fries. Keep it up Jerry!

I adore Jerrys burger bar only because they have the most amazing burgers around. The lust Lucy is my favourite and it tastes AMAZING!!!! Jerrys has never disappointed me and I doubt they ever will. Good job to Jerry for feeding people great tasting burgers and good craft beer.

You get a large variety of burgers, you choose salad, skinny fries, or beer batter onion rings. I chose the onion rings, and I couldn't finish them. Very juicy and tasty. The Jack Daniel's burger was absolutely delicious!
My friend had the sloth, with jalapeño stuffing, which she found very tasty. The cocktails also very interesting, and a must!
Definitely a place to visit over and over.

My first visit to a Jerry's Burger Bar, and after reading about how amazing their burgers are and seeing the mouth-watering pictures, I had high expectations. Fortunately, I was not disappointed!
You immediately get surfer / by the sea vibe when you walk up the stairs - blue tiles, a rustic feel, big wooden benches, pictures of surfboards... I can just imagine it being packed to the brim with kite surfers after a day out on the water. The room is spacious, without being too cold (they have heaters in the roof too). I love how the tables aren't on top of each other, so you at least feel like you have some privacy.
We arrived early (17:30), and even at this time the place was already starting to fill up. Happy hour runs until 18:30, where all cocktails (excluding jugs), beer on tap and a glass of house sauvignon blanc are half price. So a perfect stop to grab a quick drink when heading home from work! We ordered the guava and rosewater cosmo and the Dude's white Russian. They first brought me the wrong drink - a normal cosmo instead of the one I had ordered. Luckily I was having an in depth conversation with my better half, so I hadn't touched it by the time they realized they'd got the order wrong. Without hassle, they quickly swapped it for the correct one. And wow, was it delicious! The best cosmo I've ever had! I can highly recommend it! And at half the price, totally worth it! The white Russian wasn't anything spectacular, tasted like an ordinary white Russian, perhaps too much ice (it tasted a bit watery).
Along with our drinks, we indulged in some chorizo croquettes. Three things... (1) it's a huge portion (8 balls in total), so sharing would be good; (2) they're absolutely delicious; and (3) you can't leave without having tried them! They are simply irresistible!
For mains, we of course had to order a pair of burgers. I had the fab chicken burger with onion rings and the meat lover next door had the monster burger with fries. My burger was devine! Fresh, fresh, FRESH burger bun that was slightly toasted just to give it that extra bit of yumminess. Tender chicken breast, perfectly grilled in a lovely basting sauce. Fresh lettuce, fresh tomato, fresh avo... I cannot emphasize the freshness of the dish enough! And the onion rings... Now, I'm not a huge fan of onion rings, but these were definitely some of the best I've ever tasted. Crispy, but still succulent, juicy and not in the slightest bit dry. The monster burger also went down well and is real value for money, at R130 for a 320g patty plus all the topping plus a generous portion of fries. And just as fresh and tasty as the fab burger!
Overall, a nice place to enjoy a casual lunch or dinner with friends, have some sundowners after a long day at work, or just come and relax on a nice hot summer's day (or even cozy up on the couches on a crisp winter's evening). Whatever your reason for visiting, you won't be disappointed by the food, the drinks or the stunning view. Highly recommended! A hidden gem!
It's plain and simple, really.
Their burgers are as good as Jerry's' reputation foretells. I simply can't fault it, even though if you think about it, it's not that hard to make a legitly yummy burger and chips. Just put some thought and creativity into it and you'll probably be able to recreate the entire menu at home.
It's affordable, and delicious, yes. However, for me the best thing about Jerry's is their drinks menu. The beer on tap is a massive plus! There's a large selection and the service is quick, friendly and often even pretty too.
I imagine sitting on the deck, watching the mountain and the waves will be amazing in summer. I can't wait to go back and catch some rays while stuffing my face with good old feel-good grub.

In the pursuit of the ultimate burger, I took on that what is Jerry's in Table View.
The decor is very "down by the sea" with the sea color steps and wood tones throughout the establishment. The staff is very chilled and relaxed but very friendly and engaging.
Let's be honest, what makes a good burger? Is the it toppings included on the burger? Is this the fries?
I believe that the burgers done here are good. I opted for the Monster and this mammoth of a burger is enough to fill any holes.
But my quest for the ultimate burger added a challenger for the best onion ring and Jerry's rocks my rings!! Proper barter onion rings and the severing side is enough for 2 people. Don't order the entree size and it's enough for 4 people or a small village.
Burger was cooked properly medium with a nice tone of pink in the middle. The egg and bacon was perfect to the top and made me tear up on a remembrance of a burger from a fish and chip shop back home in Australia.
Now if the TVs showing whatever sport is enough to distract any couple on a first date, the view of Table Mountain will.
Back to the age old.. Will I go back?!! Heck yeah. This isn't the first time I've been to Jerry's in Table View and not the last time. So get on your ponies and get over here.
One of my favourite places to go for a good burger, the prices I feel are a bit high but the tastes and flavours of those burgers are good. This restaurant has young staff on a busy blouberg strip that overlooks the amazing Atlantis. Very seldom can u find a place that has good food, good ßervice and a great view.
Excellent view and our service was great, however they seemed understaffed for the daytime service. Food was amazing, I would definitely recommend the Jack D burger and the anchorage craft beer, ribs are pretty good too. Will for sure be back.
Great place to hang out with friends for delicious burgers and stunning view! Book in advance if you want a table by the window which overlooks the ocean, and Table Mountain the distance (just stunning) . We had great service. The waitress even organized a pillow for me because the table was a bit high for my shortness:) Lovely starters, chorizo croquettes are amazing, as well as the sauces that they come with. Also enjoyed the chicken wings!
Good burger. "Crockery" needs some attention. The spacious interior lends itself well to the décor and vibe, although personally I'd add more booths rather than wooden tables. I had the burger stuffed with cheddar and it was oozy and yummy. However, I opted for a side of salad, and only noticed once I had finished the meal that there was a massive hole in the paper that it was served on...and the only place that paper could be is in my stomach! Thanks, but I prefer an alternative source of fibre. There must surely be a better option for serving food that makes paper soggy?
Second visit and just as great as the first. Ribs were fantastic and the burgers looked and tested great. Service was very good. The cold beers added a nice touch.
From the moment we arrived we were accommodated and looked after by the friendly waitress.
The view is great and the decor is decent but sparse as you might expect from a beachfront restaurant.
We weren't sure which burger to try, but the friendly waitress assured us that the Fhilly Steak was a good option, and she wasn't wrong.
We found it to be spectacularly good, and it ranks up there with the best we have had. It's certainly a current favorite.
I can understand what others were saying about being fully booked but empty. We were also told that they were fully booked but they managed to find us a table as we were there 2 hours before the table was reserved for. Perhaps this situation could be improved. But it's not a good reason to o give this one a miss.
Great food and great atmosphere. Ideal for families with an entertainment area for kids. The burgers was delicious, kids menu might need some tlc. All in all a very nice experience.
We've read some really good reviews before deciding to visit Jerry's burger bar. So, during the December holidays, on a Saturday night, not too late about 6pm, we went on over, and the place was empty, I have asked for a table and was advised that they are fully booked, but yet they were empty at that moment.... After discussions, we managed to get a seat for two and we had to leave by 7pm. Other than the bad welcome, the food was great, we loved the burgers!! They could work on the service, which was a bit slow, and most definitely work on how they welcome people! Will visit them again!
Tableview was in desperate need of a cool place like this, awesome- venue, view and staff, but the burgers comes out tops! Yumm! Perfect place to het together with friends or just quick bite for two....or one
We stopped at Jerry's on the way home from work as it was late to cook. The inside has tables and Bar type seating. You have to go with a Burger I had the frenchie and my partner had the pulled pork. We decided to have half and have I must say they were very tasty but I leaned more to the pork one which had a spicy kick. The chips were also good. Service was good however took a while for our bill to arrive only fault I would say.
I went to Jerry's Burger Bar with my boyfriend on a very special day and the food was absolutely amazing. The service was good and the burger was mouthwatering. Their gingerbread milkshake is something I'd recommend everyone to try. I will definitely go back and take friends with.

Best Philly cheese steak I have had in Cape Town. Yes, I didn't have a burger this time. To start we shared some chorizo croquettes and chili popper balls. Amazeballs! See what I did there? Gold! I know. Venue wise, much better than the Obz one. Beautiful view of table mountain and this one is really spacious. For mains I had the awesome Philly cheese steak, highly recommend it. Dessert was a peanut butter and banana smoothie, not the biggest I've had, but it does what it says on the tin. Washed it all down with some awesome craft beer and a black coffee. They stock euro cafe as a coffee brand, never heard of it and doesn't sound local. Not that that matters. Overall, a great experience. If you feel like a great meal and an epic view...this is the place for you :)
Great burgers with a great view. I really love the interior decor. My favourite burger is the Glutton. Loads of craft beer options if you are into that sort of thing, and of course Sailor Jerry rum. Highly recommend their milkshakes. Service can be a tiny bit slow but that is understandable as they are generally packed. I would suggest booking.
After a great experience of Jerry's at Willow Bridge we decided to try out the one in Blouberg. It has an amazing view overlooking the ocean with the iconic view of Table Mountain in the background.
Service is quick and the staff is very friendly. I ordered the Sloth burger - stuffed with cheddar cheese and jalapeño topped with bacon and avo. Very tasty and spicy and the meat is juicy and tender. The onion rings are really yummy and crunchy but beware, the portion sizes are insane!
Overall a lovely place to enjoy a delicious burger with a great view. Booking is essential!

A little slow on service but the vibe, setting, amazing food and beers, and friendly staff make the wait worth while. Definately a great spot for any occasion.

I had the Fab burger (beef) and a Chai Milkshake.
The whole experience was beautiful. The wait was a full 20 minutes though and I was ravishing, so naturally it felt longer. If you knew the quality of food you were about to receive was level 9999, I can almost guarantee you'd be willing to wait 40 minutes +

I particularly enjoyed their skinny fries. They were spicy and ultra fresh.
Jerry's absolutely brings their A game. Portions are XXL by default and they're winners on the flavour and satisfaction front, too.
What a vibe! Surfer meets biker. Family vs young people vs old people. A place for everyone. With a view! The burgers and fries are simply delicious. Been a couple of times and been impressed with the food and service as well as the ambience every time. It's our local spot.
Felt like eating a burger for my cheat meal this week. Had a good experience at the Jerrys in Obs about a year ago so gave Tableview a try. Had the Sloth burger and it was AMAZING! It's served with skinny fries but decided to have a salad instead.The staff were friendly and I'd definitely recommend this place for a great burger.
Great spot on the west coast- atmosphere is comfortable & they have a good selection of craft beers.
Fries are perfect skinny American style.
Just watch out for the desserts - they're pretty big

Delicious Vegetarian burger!!!! My boyfriend got one of the speciality burgers, with blue cheese and nuts, I don't think he would order it again, but that still would not keep us from coming back for more. Yummy chips and reasonably priced.
Jerry's has an amazing blue-crush beach vibe to it and the food is REALLY good. Definitely worth stopping by for a burger before heading to the beach
Not really big on burgers but I enjoyed my afternoon here. The ribs were fantastic, not too soft but came off the bone nicely. The Fab burger was good; "anything with bacon, feta and avo is winner" to quote the gf. Great food but ultimately the staff make any restaurant. Well meaning but orders weren't spot on.
Awesome view and fantastic burger experience. Had 3 Baby cheese burger was absolutely mouth watering. Enjoyed the experience service was super fast and a fantastic end to my holiday
Pure beef. Good buns. Friendly staff. Plus any place that serves Sriracha hot sauce gets extra brownie points. I just wish the weather was better so I could fully appreciate the view.

It is what is it is! A burger joint. And a good one too! Love to come here to grab a drink, watch the incredible view and just kick back. Food is proper and service quick. The menu is basic but not boring.

I had previously written a bad review for Jerry's based on my experience a couple years ago. I have since revisited and I must say it was definitely a redeeming experience. The food did take a little while to come out but given that they were full it's totally understandable. I ordered a burger with onion rings and it was amazing. Denae (hope I got the spelling right) was our waitresses and she was outstanding. I'll definitely be back soon!

Been to Jerry's a couple of times and never been disappointed... Yes the service is a little slow and maybe don't come here if you are STARVING but I can promise you the quality of the burgers are worth the wait! :-) My personal favourite is the Sloth which has a Jalapeno stuffing and if you like hot stuff, this is the one! Yes it's not deadly but it's tasty!
I love the set up of the diner and the decor is very open and chilled.
Great place for a dinner catch-up or before a night out on the town.
The staff have always been very friendly, think quite a few of them recently matriculated and yeah they get nervous when they see people getting a little agitated but try be patient and nice to them... Most of us were them at some point in our lives :)

Awesome view of table mountain. Pulled pork burger is delicious. The chicken wings are a awesome starter. Ribs are definitely one of the best in the area. The bottings' iced tea is very different haha. Food came in a decent amount of time despite what the other reviews say.
We decided to do lunch at Jerry's (which I'm always keen for) There is just something about the restaurant and its vibe that I just love. We arrived to find Jerry's incredibly busy on a Monday afternoon. A hostess provided us with seats at the bar due to the restaurant being full. I was a bit disappointed that throughout our time there we weren't moved to a table once people had started to leave, but the service we received at the bar was incredible. The gentleman assisting at the bar was really great. He did everything from taking our orders, making our drinks and checking if we were happy. Food was incredible I ordered a FAB burger which I love (never disappoints). My boyfriend had the Monster which he devoured and a side of spicy chicken wings. The wings were a little dry in my opinion but my boyfriend said they were perfect, it was his side not mine I guess.
Firts visit to Jerry,s and was not disappointed. We had the chorizo and cheese courgettes for a started and the were yum yum yummy!!!! Then the gluttony burger and that did not disappoint, one of the best bugers ever. The waiter was very friendly, but service is a bit slow, but this is not a take away joint or a silver service restaurant, it has a verryyy relaxed vibe.
Ok went there 4 times over the holidays - I love the vibe and the food. setting is nice. Be careful of the South Easter though it can blow you right off the deck! Chicken wings and ribs are great so are the burgers! The best is the jack D Burger - a must have. Service is prompt and all the staff are really helpful. New owners improved menu. Half price happy 2 hrs every Monday from 4pm
Great food, best burger patties in the area. Good selection of beers, cocktails can be hit and miss. Very nice vibe to it and a grape at view from the outside seating / smoking area. Don't just show up, make sure to book as so far they have always been busy, so sometimes service can be slow.
Very nice location and cool decor. The service was a bit slow but that's expected as we were there during a busy lunch period. I had the jack D burger which was absolutely amazing, would have liked to pair it with a craft beer but they were sold out at the time.
Now that ain’t a bad thing, with at least a dozen craft beers available to go with your thick, juicy burger we beach bums no longer need to flock to Kloof in Cape Town to experience the uber coolness of Jerry’s Burger Bar. You can find this hip and happening spot right above Carlucci’s Deli and the Kite Surf store on the corner of Marine Drive and Athens street in Blouberg, Cape Town (South Africa).
Good food, good beer, great service and an amazing view of the ocean. My boyfriend had an ice cold beer and after burger which was stunning! My pulled pork burger and wine was out of this world!
We went for lunch just after they opened and man this place is really awesome. They've done a great job with the interior as it is quite a big space to fill. The service was very good if still a bit green. But the main attraction is the burgers. They are really good. Try the cheese bombs as well. OMG! The milk shakes were a disappointment. Have been back and will go back again.

We chose to visit Jerry's on several awesome reviews from friends and we can happily say - we agree wholeheartedly with all of them. The Table View branch is blessed with a breathtaking view that is only trumped by the lovely service and yum food. Dani, our waitress was a joy from the moment we arrived. I had the Fab burger and my partner - the Sloth. Both were generous, decadent and filling. The beef patties are made with 100% meat, nothing else and you can taste it. The menu is diverse without being unclear - they're the place for burgers and beer and a good time. We'll be back soon to try the ribs!
A friend had originally booked a table for 8 of us, but ended up being 12. The waitresses went out of their way to accommodate us and organised us a table for everyone. Amazing atmosphere with great service and even better food:) Going back there this weekend :)

I have been here before and had an issue with the food but the next time i came was much better. The service is just insane our waiter made our night.
The manager even sent someone to spar to find us some juice for a drink we wanted to make.
Coctails were great. Liked the ambiance. Was extremely busy so food took a while. Burgers were awesome. Waited a while but was worth it. Small play area for kids but enough to keep them busy

Great for those people with kids that want good food, and loathe having to be restricted to spur, this is the answer to your problems. kids play room and foosball table. But, I've never seen a waitress who can do her job with folded arms and I've never seen a restaurant manager being managed from behind a laptop screen!
Lovely place, nice location. BEST BURGER EVER. I had the pulled pork with apples. I would have that burger for breakfast, lunch and dinner! They have a list of homemade ice teas. The strawberry and rooibos is to die for. Every single burger on that menu sounds good. Ill be working my way through it. 0_0. I just went for take aways, the server was a bit awkward when i asked for my Change but other than that it was great. The prices isn't that bad but it's not cheap.

Amazing amazing place. The vibe is layed back with a mix of characters that fit in perfectly with the punky whiskey house feel. But the service... talk about impressive. We walked in without a reservation and everyone was so accommodating. When they only had bar seats available, my fiance and I decided to leave as his back couldn't take it. Instead they offered us the boardroom area. There we were just the two if us in this big room, secluded from everyone. So romantic. Thank you for an amazing night out. And by the way the food is incredible.
A group of friends decided to attend the soft launch of Jerry's last Thursday and what a pleasant eve!
Our waitress was friendly and attentive and our food was divine! I had The Jerry and it was massive! There was too much to finish, which is saying a lot, as I can definitely pack it away :-) I loved the texture and flavor of the burger and the chips were perfect.
The vibe was good and it has an amazing view during the day.
The only critique would be that the music was somewhat... interesting (I'm sure this will get sorted though) and our burger patties were still very pink. I don't mind but some of my friends were not so keen on it. Patrons should be the option to have their patty grilled for longer to avoid displeasure.

Burgers, craft beer, whiskey, a beautiful view and great service.
I am so happy that we finally have a new, good restaurant in the area. I went there this evening and was greeted by friendly staff who took the time to chat to us and tell us about the place.
They have a beautiful view that you can see though the windows inside the restaurant as well as from the tables on the balcony.
I had the FAB buger. The toppings were all really fresh with a decent amount of bacon, avo and feta. What was really nice is that the patty was done medium and not well done compared to most burgers at restaurants.
Amazing service
A friend celebrated her birthday, and she was surprised with a free birthday shot. The service was impeccable even though the restaurant was full. The food was amazing and the dessert was quite good.
Would definitely recommend it for future birthday celebrations or even just a girls night out.
Just called for a drink whilst getting involved with the kite surfing event. Enjoyed our hour of relaxation with a good view of the proceedings.

We had a blast yesterday visiting Jerry's Burger Bar for the 1st time ever.
I can't believe I have never been there in the time living in Cape Town.
The vibe is amazing, and the cocktails are definitely worth the visit as they have a wide variety to choose from, and then comes the food. Oh goodness, it's amazing. We had the Crumbed mushrooms and goodness me it was amazing, definitely ordering that again 🙂🙂🙂 and for mains, we had some nachos but we also shared some food with the other people around the table their Sweet Patatochips is also amazing and the onion rings - Basically Everything on the menu is something to dream about 😀...
There are the coolest decorations in the restaurant and a cool play area for older kiddies to play in it is also very neat and clean, and with a large smoking section if you wish to smoke while enjoying some yummy foodies.
For a large group, they do not have a "split the bill" option, but they so support Zapper that is so convenient to use and tips are 12%.
I did not see a Wheelchair accessible entrance into the restaurant as we made use of some stairs. In the parking bay, there is parking for Jerry's clients.
After eating, you can enjoy a stroll down the sea side as it is right across the restaurant.
I highly highly recommend this place 👌
Jerry's Blouberg has been our favorite local burger bar for a few years now. Service has always been good, mostly young waiters / waitresses who are well trained. The restaurant seems well managed with the same owner / manager working almost every time we've popped in.
Decor is funky, and nothing beats the view from Jerry's! The burgers are phenomenal, and we seem to always order the same again and again! Their bomb combo is a must order!
One good thing about this establishment is that they could serve their entire menu while it was loadshedding. We will continue to be back again and again.

I love their weekly special they run from 4 pm to 6 pm, the prices are very reasonable on the sale and well worth what you're paying. I always enjoy their sliders and delicious crispy fries! Their cheese bombs and the variety of other bombs are always so so yummy! I've always had lovely waiters/waitresses, and the service is always very friendly. The atmosphere is lively!
I had chicken tacos, which tasted bland honestly.
Other than that service was 👌🏼, prompt too.

Service was a very slow on a Friday night with getting Food. Food is Great and a lot of great choices. If ordering tell your waiting how you like your meat as my daughter’s burger was made Rare.
The views are spectacular, with massive glass windows all around; it feels like Table Mountain is the table next to you! The decor is superb. This place has a great vibe, a wide variety of cocktails and beers, and the burgers we had were possibly the best we've ever had. The burgers are a must! Not too oily - but tasty. The sauces are rich & creamy and marinated perfectly. There are no doubts that it's the first place on the list when having a beach day. The staff is vibrant and adds to a party vibe—excellent service with a smile.

We had lunch with colleagues that I would now consider friends. The atmosphere was great and the waitress read us very well. When we were in conversation she gave us space but when we wanted service she was there. We never felt rushed. The food was delicious and we also had a view of the sea. Although it was cold outside, it was nice and warm inside.
Honestly, I don't know where to start! Our waiter, Ryan, was the best. Very attentive, good vibe, super nice. Food is absolutely amazing. Especially the crumbed mushrooms & the poppers. Ryan recommended the nachos with pulled pork and it was 10/10. We'll definitely be back and for that you can thank Ryan!!!!!
