Really great atmosphere, despite loadshedding issues they could still serve a large number of customers. AMAZING food and REALLY great prices. Worth a visit.
I really love the food at Plek vanni Visarend. Every time I went there, the food has been good. Also there is a choice of Sushi, which is also very tasty. Don't expect the Sushi order to be fast, since there is only one chef. But the ingredients are always freah and tastefull.

The food is good, enjoyed it very much. Excellent views from restaurant. The service a bit slow, and the outdoor sitting plans could use some TLC. I'd be happy to visit again.

The food here was very good! I had the mini seafood platter and everything on the plate was very extremely tasty. Just a headsup the prawns that is covered in amazing sauce has not been shelled so I got quite a suprize when I took a bite of shell. My husband had the "Mr. Pig" pizza and well it was a

Such a lovely place, I would recommend it to anyone. The flats is equipped with everything. It is near to town. Very relaxing. I had a super great time. Will surely visit again.
The owners make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Lovely well stocked bar with high chairs and tables/chairs overlooking the Vaal river.
The staff are friendly and helpful. Nice Restaurant for more intimate sit down meals. A comprehensive menu that is reasonably priced. Clean restrooms.
Owner is very friendly and went out of his way to serve me on Christmas eve when the restaurant was actually closed in order to prepare for a Christmas lunch. The views are spectacular! Will definitely be back and highly recommend all visitors in the area to stop by and support Plek vanni Visarend.

Possibly the best Filet Steak I have ever had in any Restaurant...#popeyesteak. Awesome views right on the Vaal river at Boemhof. With so many interesting dishes on the menu we will need to return a couple times to try them all....
Great place with a great couple that owns the place. Food is very nice and also the prizes. One of the best views over the river. The sun sets there is spectacular. Fishing is also very nice right in front of the Lodge.
Great venue on the Vaalriver with awesome views and atmosphere. Fresh Sushi and a full menu for the meat eaters!
