Review Cafe Traumerai - Bloemfontein

My husband and I like to go on Saturday mornings. The atmosphere are great. The food are very nice. The waiters are friendly. They are not expensive.

Hlo Everyone, what can I say. Traumerei is the best. Will always be the best. The place is so beautiful, clean, the atmosphere is so relaxed especially in the morning when you want to enjoy your coffee in a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and accomodating and will go out of there way to please you. I am so glad you are still staying strong and keep your head up high though this difficult and uncertain times. I had the Breakfast Buffet, the best and my wife is a Vegan she had the Vegan Breakfast, what a good addition to the menu. Please stay strong and stay safe 😷👏

Best buffet breakfast in Bloemfontein. Also the best spinach I have ever had. Great value for money. Have been coming here for almost a year and they never disappoint.

Set in an exquisite flower nursery, Cafe Traumerei is the perfect place to go to get out of the bustling monotonous city life. The atmosphere is great, the food is even better, and the portion sizes are massive, definitely one of my favourite places to eat at.

Excellent coffee and best cakes. This place will always be close to my heart since they where part of my engagement, even though it was just a small letter they had to give to me. It was still special!

Their food tastes lekker... And portion sizes are big.. Service always with a smile.. I love the fact that I can enjoy my meal outside...

We visited this cafe for breakfast during our overnight stay nearby. Their service is fantastic, order taken quickly and coffees brought out in minutes. Food was fresh, exactly as ordered and generous portion. The gardens are a lovely setting. Good spot to visit.

Possibly the worst service I've ever experienced. We arrived at Cafe Traumerei and found most of the tables to be dirty with the waiters lazily looking on. We were not welcomed, we were not shown to our seats and we were not offered menus. After finding a table ourselves and sitting down we sat for 5 minutes and watched the only other occupied table be served while at least 3 other waiters stood around outside the door doing nothing. Eventually I decided to get up and go and ask for a menu; whilst doing so I asked what seemed to be the main waiter if the cafe was actually still open seeing that we'd been blatantly ignored since our arrival, which he confirmed. Instead of taking the initiative then, he pointed where the menus were and told me to go fetch them myself. <br/><br/>We lasted 5 more minutes before we left, still without being served by one of the many waiters in an empty restaurant.
