Stopped over for breakfast and it was great! The flapjack stack in particular was delicious! Friendly and quick service, we will most certainly come back 😊
I had hot chocolate and chocolate cake. The hot chocolate was typically delicious. The cake was absolutely next level - moist, not too sweet and distinctly CHOCOLATE.
I had a taste of the apple pie as well and it was also a real treat!
The look and feel of this location is quite special and we really enjoyed waiting there for our next appointment.
Areas that can be improved:
- I was thirsty and asked for a glass of water. I had to ask a second time.
- We were a table of 3, but our cake, tart and waffle was not served at the same time.
This is the absolute best Coffee Shop and restaurant in Bloemfontein! Friendly staff, helpful management and the tastiest South African cuisine at an affordable price. They have everything from Skilpadjies and Roosterkoek, toe Plant Based Pap en wors. A must try for all

Their toasted sandwiches with chips remain a firm favourite. Perfect for a quick lunch meeting or coffee with friends. The fold-open doors and trees make for a relaxed atmosphere in an otherwise busy area.
Nostalgia nostalgia. My "have to stop there" in Bloem. Service needs attention but the food makes up for it

Food and drinks took a bit long to arrive after ordering. It opens at 07:00 which is amazing, perfect breakfast spot. The food was really nice, the home made bread was divine
Delicious food and beautiful space. Nice and cozy. But customer service can be better...manager never visits the table to check on patrons. Once I ordered food, the waitress forgot my order...had to ask another waitress about my order 30 min later.
Nice quiet spot to have coffee with clients. The staff is very friendly and their pricing is reasonable.

It is not often that you enter a restaurant in Bloem and find that they have melkkos. Not only that, but tasty melkkos served in a hearty bowl next to a gas heater to keep you warm during the winter time.
This only scratches the experience at Get Together.
The rather quaint but homey restaurant had very friendly staff members and delicious food overall. The prices were very reasonable and the serving sizes large.
I will return here soon to enjoy another bowl of their delicious melkkos.
