Wonderlike atmosfeer en uitsonderlike geurige en lekker kos. Ons steaks was super sag en die bloukaas en biltong sous iets uit die boeke. Bediening en aandag is puik. Moet ons kelner spesiale vermelding gee. Tumi jy het dit vir ons ekstra spesiaal gemaak en ons so tuis laat voel daar. Dankie ook vir die manier waarop jy die kinders hanteer en behandel het. Awesome restaurant! Beautiful light & bright decor, friendly & helpful staff, great variety on the menu and so many traditional South African favourites ... every dish we ordered was delicious, can't go wrong with the braaibroodjie, Eman's mess pudding is divine but the Bananarama (banana bread braai'd with Nutella) was my favourite! This place is a must visit!
What a wonderful restaurant. Had family over from Durban and they are very impressed. The waiter, Barbie, gave excellent service to our table of 9 people. Restaurant was super busy (rugby test match in Bfn between Springboks & Wallabies), but our orders came out swiftly and exactly as we ordered. Well done! Will definately be back and will recommend Copper & Coal to everyone I know.

Wow. I have no words. Last night we went here for a date night. I gave our waiter (Elton) a challenging task to stick photos to everything he brings to the table throughout the night and eventhough he was busy, he went out of his way to do this for me. The table was even romantically made up when we got there (which was completely his own initiative). He gave excellent service and did his very best to make this night so special. Thank you Elton!! �

Very nice vibe, beautiful decor and a good average burger at good price. No corkage fee for the first two bottles of wine per table, after that R40 per bottle. Coffee was also good.

Had a great experience. The food was nice and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere inside was vivid and joyous. I believe this restaurant is wheelchair friendly. And I would definitely recommend it. 👍🏻

I would recommend this new restaurant to everyone looking for fantastic food for a very reasonable price. I love that the sides are all extra, since it gives you freedom to choose from 18 different options. No corkage fees, with a big variety on drinks. Would definitely come back.

The best steaks, always ask for chef suggestions... it will blow your mind! The sides are equally impressive with loads of well loved dishes to choose from. Do book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Food is excellent, good portions and good prices. The restaurant has a nice interior and they play good music. It seems to be a popular gathering place for groups of women who can be very loud, so not the place for you if you are looking for a quiet evening(there were four large and loud groups this particular evening). A good place to go with a group of friends. Not a very relaxing atmosphere and some waiters aren’t the friendliest, but the food quality makes up for it.
Delicious food great service
Good food, good service, usually quite busy but the wait isn't too long. A pesonal experience was that the steaks were slightly overcooked but was sorted out.
Overall it is an authentic meal that would shed light on our food to any outsider. Highly recommended.
Decor is simple, but has a big impact. The colour scheme is interesting and definitely something appealing in both daylight and night time. A comfortable environment that is not too casual but also not black tie. The choice of menu items are well thought out. The servings are not oversized, and plated neatly. Various visits confirmed consistency. The variety of sides have inevitably resulted in me not trying the puddings yet. Further investigation will follow.

As an out of towner I really wish they had advertised better. I would have eaten there every night I was in town as my first two experiences were anything but endearing. As it stands I only found them on my last night! Good food, great value and great ambiance and decor! I can really recommend it!
They have braaibroodjies as a side... What more can I say?! Was such a lekker place to meet up with friends.
