Well-located, friendly welcome and conversation. Large, well-equipped room with a comfy bed and floor-to ceiling windows onto a huge terrace with a panoramic sea view!

Very impressive! We had lunch at the restaurant and everything was done perfectly. Hot chips, hot drinks, croissant filled with lovely chicken mayo! Very impressed.

Really friendly atmosphere and Laura was a wonderful host bring the 'Jack' of all trades front of house.
And an amazingly small world as Laura and I lived a few streets away from each other in SE London many moons ago.

Humongous portions of food and very tasty! Fantastic view over Bettys Bay and a delighrful owner. Decor could do with a bit of an upgrade but don't let that put you off, it os recommended. Also basically the only local food establishment open on a Tuesday although they are closed on a Wednesday.

We've been coming to Jack's for a bite to eat since our first visit to Betty's Bay 5 years ago. Great coffee, delicious wholesome meals, friendly and efficient service.
The decor however needs a bit of sprucing up but I cannot fault them on service or quality of their meals.
Lovely setting, but the interior and garden can be improved. Lots of potential.
Only had drinks. will try the food next time

Our group of 15 guests had a terrific meal in the restaurant. Thank you to the staff for the excellent service and we'll prepared food. A wonderful view of Betties Bay and the mountains if you sit near the reading area. This is our second visit and we have not been let down. Thank you.
Just amazing. The food was wonderful and the service was amazing and super friendly. Everything was beautiful and just very good. The food was so good and a good size as well. The fish was fresh and amazing. Definitely recommended ❤ my granny loved it as well

What a treat!
Tasty food, friendly service and beautiful views.
My partner and I spoiled ourselves with an evening out upon our arrival in Betty's Bay.
We felt relaxed during our meal. The environment is different from a franchise Restaurant. It felt paced out to our rhythm and not the other way around.
We begun the evening with a glass of wine. We then enjoyed the Ostrich burger with Brie and fig jelly. Brie cheese is a favourite and it went so well with this tasty burger.
Then we enjoyed the mussels with spaghetti. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection.
It was time for dessert. I hardly ever order dessert for usually I feel like it is overpriced for something I usually don't enjoy. Not that I am not a sweet tooth, I definitely am. We discussed the desserts with Laura, the waiter and owner. She spoke fondly of the passion and love her husband David, who is in the kitchen, places into his desserts. The sticky Toffee has also been a British tradition for years.
The dessert was AMAZING!!! Besides so many other reasons we will return, the dessert guaranteed our return.
Thanks to Laura and David for allowing us to have such a lovely evening out. An evening to remember.
