This spur is one of our favorites, the service is always outstanding & our food is always Devine, I came here for my Birthday lucky my Boy friend never said it too loud or I would of had the singing crew phew quite relieved π See you soon π
Worked here as a casual waiter from mid to end 70's. Serviced burglar alarm while working at Chubb Alarms from early 80's - mid 90's. Fond memories!!
Eight family members went to Acapulco Spur tonight. Our waitress, Sandra, went all out to give us good service from the moment we walked in. Nothing was too much trouble for her to do! She put our cake in the fridge, brought it out when we requested it. Sandra then brought us plates, so we could each have a piece of birthday cake. Sandra is a fantastic person with a warm personality. I highly recommend that if you go there, to ask for her to serve you. Food was excellent too! Thanks Sandra. :-)

Best lazy aged steak I've had in a very long time, Waitron Nadia was great and always friendly . Andre and management team keep up the great work.
I have a busy 15 month old and it was an absolute pleasure going to this Spur. The playground supervisor was so kind and loving and our waiter went over and above. Thank you for the lovely experience.
Had an absolutely fantastic experience. The food portions were generous, the service was friendly and professional. We were all delighted by the tasty nachos, chicken schnitzels and saucy burgers and how quickly everything moved. One of the better experiences at a Spur. Will be back!
Had a great evening here with a group of friends! The nachos are great for sharing. Good cheddarmelt burgers and milkshakes - and reasonably priced too! The place has a chilled vibe and is great for casual catchups.

Had a really good evening here with my family recently.
The food was great and didn't take very long.
I had the cheddarmelt burger and it was cooked to perfection.
The waitress was very professional and on the ball and the prices are reasonable.
The background music was a tad loud but other then that, it was aΒ good night out overall.
We like going to this spur because of the size and because its close to home. Cant go wrong with some buffalo wings and a double thick caramel malt. Service is good and they give me my surf and turf even though its not on their menu anymore so its a firm favourite in our household...
Never fails. Best 500g t-bone steak served very rare. For the ultimate carnivore at heart! There's dishes for all including vegetarians. The ice cream on waffles make an excellent dessert! Spur
I like spur, it's fit for purpose and this is my local franchise. It's proven a life saver during load shedding and if I don't feel like traveling much. Always enjoyed the burgers and the brownies. Milkshakes aren't bad either. Service can vary between spurs but I've always found the service at Acapulco to be excellent.
Of all the Spur's I've been to, the service is always brilliant at this one and the food is exactly how Spur food should be. I'd choose this Spur over all the other ones!
This is definitely one of the best Spur branches. I've been here probably over 40 times and it's always fast, friendly and good! Avoid peak hour dinner time, especially on a Monday for the special, things can get crazy.

Very impressive Spur. This one is different than the others. Staff is friendly, happy to assist and always smiling. The staff is happy to help the customers.
Managers on the floor are at tables,talking to customers and helping their staff.
Food is top class and very precisely done according to my food orders. The vegetables (pumpkin and creamed spinach) dish are always fresh and deliciously delightful. You can taste the flavor in food.
Their take away services are quick and on point. While I was getting ready to pay the lady got the food. Was very impressed with the services.

Wonderful experience β€οΈ Waiter was amazing and food was great. A complete opposite experience to That Other Spur ππ΅. Food was tasty, hot and fresh. Waiter was friendly, helpful, honest and definitely knows what client service is. Just a note to those who don't know, this Spur offers a Sunday Lunch option π³π§ Looks awesome ππ Overall, great experience, value for money and a must do when in Bergvliet

Service is still exceptional. Steak good but not great. Not sure the cook understands the temperature of steaks, medium ended up being well done π¬π but overall a good evening

Went there for our Sunday morning breakfast with my lady (first time at this Spur) and we were very impressed with the place!
It has been fully renovated and looks a class up from compared to the other Spurs we've been at.
The service was excellent, didn't have to wait for anything and all came exactly as we ordered - we do make some changes on our orders as my lady is vegan.
Their chips slightly differs from the rest and very tasty. The eggs came perfect too.
Definitely will visit again!
Love this Spur. Last time the food had cooled before being delivered but haven't had that experience before. The atmosphere was tarnished by long and very loud chanting/singing, possibly some sort of birthday theme but unintelligible! Had a new waiter - pleasant but very diffident and unsure. We will always go back though!!

Was a bit slow but there was only a few waitresses and alot of customs but luckily I was patient enough to wait.
So went to Acapulco Spur today with my kids just for a quick snack after our morning walking and and ordered so nachos .. good arrived and we shared our nachos .. alas we orders chicken but when it came it was plain.. we just decided it's ok and we enjoyed what we had.. almost.done and out waiter came and apologized and insisted we take our new plate with what we ordered as they were sorry for getting our order wrong...but at the end it was all doublly delicious as always ... Thanks to an awesome waiter and lovely food we had a good time
We were greeted with a very warm and friendly smile apon arrival. The service was very fast, however we wanted waffles, but we were told that they couldn't serve it because the waffle machine was still off due to load shedding and it takes extremely long to warm up after it.
Mark was a brilliant waiter. He told us humorous stories and gave us local hints and tips. The food was acceptable, but Mark made it for us.
Lovely clean branch with good food and what looks to be a recently redone interior.
My steak was very tender and cooked just as I asked. The food was presented well and certainly not the greasy Spur of old.
Staff were very friendly too and the manage did come over at some point to check if we were all good.
Will definitely return.
Celebrated a birthday party. Staff were very accommodating and managed to add chairs and a bench so we could all sit at one table. Food was amazing as always.
Myself and my girlfriend have a problem. We almost exclusively eat at spur. We try new places. Some cheaper, some more expensive, some more fancy and some less fancy and always compare it to spur and never really feel satisfied once done.
So I guess spurs the best restaurant in Cape Town ?

Delicious chicken and avocado salad with lashings of ham made a divine dinner with vinaigrette dressing. This Spur is the best in terms of food quality! Quick, excellent service - we'll be back soon.
The salad was, once again, delicious when we returned to the Meadowridge Spur. However, the service was not very good even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. We had to call on two other waitresses to help as our one was nowhere to be found. Such a pity - especially after the stellar service the previous time.
Our latest visit to this Spur for the chicken, avocado and bacon salad was excellent. This salad has so many great ingredients and topped by their Spur vinaigrette dressing makes for a divine meal. And we only had the half portions!
