Review Bimbo's - Benoni

This place is fantastic. It's a spot where you can go and meet someone for coffee early in the morning and late at evening, you can just bring your friends over for burgers and chill. Their service is great. You can order your food right now and within 5 minutes, your order is done. Though it's very quiet and not many people come here to actually sit down and eat. Either they order ahead, come in and collect or they walk in, order for takeaway and leave. If you are a person who enjoys a quiet atmosphere and you're looking for a place to eat, this is surely the place to go.

Wow some good friendly service for a change and ther food is awesome

Awesome food. We have been going back for the last 12 years to enjoy a breakfast in pita. You have to try it only once to be hooked for a long time.

When coming home after a night out in the early morning hours. This is the only place to get food from. Bimbozini will treat that hangover better than your own personal GP with a drip can.

Pleasantly surprised by this Bimbo's. Was apprehensive about eating here as previous experience at this group was dismal. Fast, friendly service, good food and coffee. I don't live close to this takeaway/restaurant but would stop here again. Thank you for a good experience!

I couldn't figure out the speciality about these place as the burgers and crispy chips apart from the size didn't give me a taste different from those other franchise.was a let down for me.

I was nervous after deciding to go for Bimbo's fast food because although they were good "back in the day" & bought back some good memories there was also the bad memories of the franchise being managed bad & the quality as well as the level of hygiene falling or failing.<br/><br/>Our Bimbo's is on the same property as an Engen garage in our area, when we arrived the place was near, tidy & clean. We were greeted by a friendly face & kindly assisted in what to order, the two chefs in the background looked eager to cook up a storm to which was fun to see. You get the feeling that they are the "new kid on the block" and are eager to impress.<br/><br/>Our food arrived & it was, for me the original Bimbo's freshness & flavour! Chips were huge in comparison to what you get these days & the burger was good & extremely filling (then again it was a double cheese). The burger beef patty was a let down for me as it is almost the same consistency of other fast food franchises, my wish is at some point some one is going to realise that a true beef patty is the better choice, also the buns were a little stale & could have been fresher.<br/><br/>Overall though comparing "apples with apples" it was a pleasant experience & goal achieved with regards; price, service & etc...

One of the best places to grab a quick bite late at night, they are open 24hrs with the added convenience of being attached to a petrol station. The burgers are always good but I am a sucker for the breakfast pita.

I used to order frequently from Bimbos as I work close by, the quality of the food has dropped tremendously but the prices have gone up! I recently ordered a medium chips and on collection I was informed of the increased price which I was happy to pay until I received my order... I used to get a medium chips in a box for R28 this time I got the chips in a packet that looked like it was the same size as the small packet of chips... I asked for crispy chips and instead I got soggy chips that were brown and clearly fried in old oil. I will not be returning to bimbos the quality and quantity is not worth the price increase!

I rate Bimbos 1 out of 5. The 1 is for speed of the order. <br/><br/>We ordered a Dagwood, Double Cheese Burger with Chips. <br/><br/>First of all the Dagwood had only one tiny piece of Bacon on. The Bread was not even toasted. <br/>Secondly the Double Cheese Burger tasted Sour after inspection the one patty was green. Both the Dagwood was loaded with tons of lettuce. Almost as if they want to hide something. <br/>Thirdly the Chips was deep fried in old oil. The chips were soggie.<br/><br/>A total disgusting experience. <br/><br/>If I could give 0/5 I would. Bimbos will never see me again.

Tasty food at decent prices. Friendly staff, and great convenience - open 24/7. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quick bite or a late night snack. Also recently renovated - very neat.

After a long drive with my nephews, the hunger started and we stopped by Bimbo's. My nephews had double rio burgers and myself a chilli burger. Nice and effective service and the most important the food was excellent.

This is probably still the best munchies take away shop in the East! You won't find a better Swarma anywhere. Service is quick and friendly.

Been around for years and recently upgraded and given an inviting facelift, based next to the Engen Garage and opened 24hrs, late night food did not lose anything to day visit , Chilly Burger is highly recommended.

This place is always known for their crinkle cut chips and burgers. Havent found anyone close to making the chips they way they do and with their spice. The smell gets to you when its freshly made. Their arent as many branches as before but this one has lasted quite long here by the garage.
