A favourite Wimpy over the years and the atmosphere has improved further since their move downstairs. It is almost always busy and the service is always great. It is worthwhile to download the Wimpy app on your phone to earn Wimpy Coins.

Thank you for the amazing experience! They have the most amazing Milktart milkshake. I was very impressed with the amazing taste. Well done, This milkshake is top of my list. I just want to add that we were there just before closing. We appreciate that you still let us order. Thank you and your friendly staff.

I think the new venue for Wimpy in Tygervalley Centre is an excellent move. Congratulations to Wimpy! My wife and I tried the new setup today and we found it spacious and welcoming. The staff members we spoke to about the new venue can't stop saying how good it feels for them as well. The food... always excellent Wimpy food. I especially love the Wimpy coffee.

Not sure if I like the new setup, you could always sit inside if you don't want to be in the open space, just my personal preference. Obviously it won't stop me from eating there, service is always efficient and friendly with the food being tasty and fresh. I don't think I have ever seen the place empty so you are definitely going about it the right way.

Thank you, been here twice this week from malmesbury and were impressed with the food and service even when you were full. Had the burgers and chips, coffee juice ect. Everyone friendly and and able to help. Well done. Keep it up. Coming on Sunday again to bring my wife for her birthday. 5 stars!

This was a really lovely experience. The staff organized seating for us a group of 14 very quickly even though the Wimpy was full. We enjoyed the time spent there as we had great and friendly and efficient service

Good food and service. Wimpy does have some healthier options which you can determine by the kilojoule values provided plus using judgement by getting leaner meats, veggies etc

Went in to get a quick toasted cheese sarmie today, but felt like I was served a 5 course meal! The lady asisting me was extremely friendly and caring (wish I asked her name). This is an experience I will forever remember (eventho it was just a simple toastie, but the lady made it feel like so much more!).

Very friendly, fast service. The waiter offered us the Wimpy app and when we struggled to download it, the Manager came over to assist.

Wimpy’s burgers are generally of a very good quality and this time was no different. However, our french fries were not cooked with some of them still frozen.. the service was slow and our plates were collected after we requested our waiter to do so. This outlet has good potential but a more attentive service would be welcome.

Whenever I am in the mall I usually end up sitting down at Wimpy for lunch. Whilst the service can be a little slow the staff is always friendly and the food is always good and comes in good portions. I would recommend their ripple bar hot chocolate if you're in the mood to indulge.

Enjoyed the new breakfast bowls they offer, had the Bacon, grilled onion and egg one. Service was very friendly and quick. Coffee was great as always!

One sunrise and one mega breakfast, with two coffees! That's how we started off our Friday morning. Wimpy has always adapted to times. They always have something new on offer and run frequent specials. <br/>The Tyger Valley branch has always been very consistent with quality and their waiters are some of the friendliest. <br/>I recently popped in to enjoy their Double Up Breakfast special. Buy one get one on Mondays for a limited time. Super value and we got our food within a few minutes after placing our order.<br/>Over all one of the best Wimpy outlets in the Northern Suburbs.<br/>

The service is extremely slow and we waited very long for our drinks

Sometimes you don't want sparkles, unicorns and a ticker tape parade...you just want some good old-fashioned breakfast fare with a semi-decent cuppa. Wimpy is a South African institution in that respect and it is a natural 'go-to' if you absolutely HAVE to be in a mall and need breakfast pronto. I never have an issue. It's franchised and fairly predictable. <br/><br/>However, not all Wimpy's are created equal and this past weekend I had the worst experience at the Wimpy in Tygervalley centre. We ordered the breakfasts (extra chips, slice of toast, coke, cappuccino). 15 minutes later - which is quite long for Wimpy - our drinks arrived, immediately followed by our food which was cold. We were then forced to wait another five minutes for cutlery. It really was dismissive service as the waiter didn't really seem to care and I feel the restaurant staff just cannot cope when 'rush hour' hits - all the staff seemed to be completely run off their feet.<br/><br/>I feel redemption is possible. After all, there's nothing like a Wimpy breakfast at a Caltex forecourt when you're road tripping. I do however hope that the Tygervalley branch sorts out their staff's capacity issues.
