What a load of junk! Trying for first time new restaurant in Willowbridge. Ask for pasta, oh no sorry don’t have pasta, like really! So the waitress says don’t worry I’ll send someone to pnp to get your tagliatelle, if I wanted pasta from pnp, I’d have gone home and done it myself. To top it all she brings penne!! The other dishes were terrible too, and took home takeaway for my son, and was totally wrong. Sorry not going back

We had a terrible experience when we hosted an event at the restaurant. Their scones were dry and the savoury muffins raw in the middle. Our event started at 9 am and they were still busy with their staff meeting that ran late. No excuses where made and we had to let our guests wait till they finished. I emailed the manager and still have not heard back from them. I will not recommend this place ever.

I did not enjoy my experience here, first we waited a good 10 minutes before being approached by a waitron to be seated. We then waited to be served, the waitron had an awful attitude (pity I can't remember their name) it took 30 minutes to be served Cake & Tea.

I do not see myself returning to this establishment

Beautiful place that is deceptively large on the inside with a colourful and pleasant to look at interior. Various types of seating available from café chairs to comfy soft padded chairs. There is a wide variety of decadent cakes and desserts as well as a full menu with lots of breakfast and lunch options.

The staff are well trained, friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. The atmosphere is one of relaxation and peace with soft music that suits the decor playing in the background.

As per usual I had my cappuccino which was a nice strong and flavourful variety with a thick golden foam. To eat I ordered the Villa Rosa Eggs Benedict which was absolutely delicious! Best Eggs Benedict I've had in quite some time. When it arrives it looks like quite a small portion, but once you dig into it there is more than enough food to fill any appetite. Food is presented very stylishly with some balsamic art and on a plate that is properly hot.

A great breakfast and an overall great experience! A definite recommendation to anyone!

We attended the Mother's Day lunch here which was a set menu. For starters we could choose between a springbok carpaccio salad or 3 tempura prawns. I had the prawns, which were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. For mains it was between lamb shank or lemon and herb chicken kebabs, served with roast vegetables, pumpkin fritters, savoury rice and potato dauphinois. Every item on the plate was delicious and made for a proper Sunday lunch, I especially liked the butterscotch sauce with the pumpkin fritter. And lastly for dessert, the option of malva pudding with ice cream/custard or ice cream with a home-made chocolate sauce. Straight forward, but just right after the mains. Everyone enjoyed their meal and was more than satisfied in the end. The service on this particular day was a bit shaky, but we still had a pleasant experience overall. The set menu was R195 pp which was lower than most and for the quantity of food we were served, I think well priced.

Villa Rosa is a scrumptious feast for both the eye and pallet, where food and drinks got prepared with love and passion. Villa Rosa stock freshly baked cakes, ThoroughBread-bread and a wide and delicious vatiety of food on the menu. The menu has changed recently for winter and in addition, to add on more banting and vegan meals too. Come spoil yourselves to a nice cup of coffee and a slice of cake or enjoy something from our menu, in a relaxed environment and perfect ambiance.

I was invited for a bridal shower. Ready and geared up to have fun. Me and my friend arrived. Firstly we were not greeted by the door we had to figure out ourselfs which table we where at... There where a few long tables all dressed up for their own events needles to say everybody who was sitting in the shop was looking a bit gloom. I opted to have a coffee before the festivities started. Grabbed another seat down stairs.... Well the waiters were clearly to preoccupied with their own conversation. To even help us who sat in clear view of them.
I ordered a cappuccino.... Well what I got was weak coffee burnend milk and a bit of froth.... Also no brown sugar.... So I took my first sip and just couldn't be bothered trying to force the rest down got up myself gave the coffee back and paid for it told the waitres regarding the coffee and she just said sorry... Tried the food for the kitchen tea not bad at all very tastefull and cupcakes where great my fave red velvet but in general place is empty and cold... No atmosphere
