Review Col'cacchio Willowbridge - Bellville

Could watch the sunrise while we were enjoying really good food. The garlic bread as starter was okay, the pizzas were super nice, same as the dessert. Loved it and would certainly come back!

Experience was good, waiter kept on checking if we were okay which was great. Pizza was nice but had little meat some slices there was big chunks of peppers and avocados slices and no meat. Brownie was good but the ice cream was very small on top of the brownie.

The restaurant is Italian and decor is very modern. Service was great and our waitron was very friendly and made sure to check up on us frequently. The menu consists out of Pizzas, pastas and wraps. We waited around 30 minutes for our main course. We had no problems with our food and it was very nice. All in all it is affordable and the food is of good quality. I would recommend you try them out.

Service is good. Pizza is excellent. Atmosphere lacking. Place is too bright & the TV screens create a sports bar vibe.

Special thanks for the amazing team at this branch, Tiernan and Ezza were more than hospitable towards us. They made my mom’s birthday celebration extra memorable by helping me surprise her. I brought a cake and asked them to bring it out with candles after our dinner and they handled it so professionally! Big thanks to them and Col Cacchios for the amazing food and team.

Fresh salads. First time here, and did take out. Pizza was not hot, so had to warm it at home, but otherwise tasty. Would probably try them again in future.

The wood fired pizzas are very nice. The pasta dishes are generally good. We have had good service from the friendly staff. If you like a wood fired pizza you can't go wrong.

Had a lovely evening at the Blouberg branch, the food was amazing as always. Eza was our incredible server, him along with the team made it such a memorable experience.

Had a great evening like always at our favourite Col’Cacchio. Was so good to be served by Eune once again. Had the spag bowl and shared a pizza. I got my half with bacon and banana and paul got his half with the Sedriano with extra avo! And lots of Tequila! Thanks guys for the great spot.

It was load shedding for the first part of our visit and the waiter brought us extra candles to light the table. Had a very tasty vegan margarita pizza. Nice thin base that went down really well.

The restaurant is definitely a must and one of our Favorites. Although i would suggest to have some Italian music in the background it gives a warm and inviting vibe. Our waitress Savannah is of 5 Star Rating and absolutely a pleasure... excellent service from welcoming to attention to our 4 year old child well done to her!!!

Excellent service from our waiter. It was such a busy night and our food came out within 10-15 minutes. The quality of the food was in no way compromised because of the restaurant that was busy. I had the Ciello linguine pasta. Will definitely be back for more!

Service was extremely slow and inattentive. The food and drinks were quite overpriced and not very good. The interior looked beautiful, but I don’t think I would be coming back soon.

Poor service received on Friday night as I had to wait 90 min + for 2 take away pizzas. When the pizza finally arrived, the side salad (comes with Banting base) was not ready. When the salad arrived, the pizzas were cold - great.

Had lunch here on a fairly quiet weekday. Service was excellent, our waitress was really on the ball. Drinks came fast, food orders were perfect and she checked in on us multiple times. <br/><br/>Food-wise, I had the fungi bianco pasta which is a generous portion with lots of mushrooms. Pasta was perfectly al dente and the cream sauce was just the right amount. Friends had the half and half pizza (mogul and nacho libre) and the makhani light meal. Everyone was very happy as evidenced by our empty plates. <br/><br/>The restaurant is big, light and airy with outdoor and indoor seating. I definitely will be back 👍🏽👍🏽

Awesome find! Col’Cacchio has an amazing vegan friendly menu and the staff are friendly, polite and efficient. We had the Cosi Verde and as vegans, were not disappointed! My son who is gluten intolerant had Bambini with a gf base. All round, a great experience.

We were regulars here but over the past few months the management has been sadly lacking. The food has become inconsistent and the staff struggle with the POS, payments etc. and keep getting the orders wrong. Our takeout orders have gotten lost and there are often no drivers for deliveries. Very sad. Hope the head office can sort the management out.

We visited the restaurant for the first time on the first Friday evening of the month. It was very busy and noisy, and there was a problem with our order, so we waited very long for our pizzas. The pizzas were delicious! I will go again, but not when it is so busy.

Went for dinner with friends on a Sunday night. The restaurant wasn't very busy. The atmosphere and decor is good. The service was terrible and the food just failed to meet expectations. We waited a long time for our waiter to come take our drinks order, we then waited a very long time for the drinks to come. The waiter brought the incorrect drink and then when he brought the correct one, failed to bring a glass and had to go fetch one. The pizza was decent but the spinach gnocchi was not good. The balls were cold and stodgey as if it had been reheated but not properly. We had to ask more than once for the bill and took forever to receive it. Won't be back in a hurry.

Saturday dinner with friends. Food good, service average. All in all, a nice evening.<br/><br/>Bf and his friend had pasta; blue cheese and chicken. Both enjoyed it and fell just short of licking the bowl clean. Other friend had a salad-it looked lovely and they're not shy putting alot of ingredients on the plate. I had a half and half: proscutto (spelling?) And morituri. Both very good<br/><br/>Only complaint is the italian kisses as dessert werent good. The ice cream inside was frozen as if it had freezer burn.

This Col'Cacchio is very freshing and is very vibrant as the sunsets. Was there on a very busy day and my waiter was slacking but the other staff managed to cover up for the young man.

We had a very bad experience last night. My wife and I and a business colleague went for dinner at about 6h30pm<br/><br/>We were shown to a corner table ,were served our drinks and given menus<br/><br/>Fifteen minutes into the meal the young manageress asked us to move because another lady "who had been there 15 minutes before wanted the table back.<br/><br/>We asked where the reserved sign was( There wasnt one!) and asked why we were going to be bumped. No explanation just a shrug from the manageress<br/><br/>We decided to move to avoid a scene,we had to carry our own drinks to the new table and one of the menus disappeared. We sat down at a cramped table which looked like it was squeezed in as an afterthought<br/><br/>No apologies,no free coffees,no interest,no thank you.<br/><br/>My Principessa was not bad the Mogul our guest had was soggy despite having minimal yogurt.<br/><br/>The cheesecake wasnt cake but a deconstructed mess that tasted of raw egg. When the guest asked about it she was told "This is how we make it here"<br/><br/>Wow have they fallen far from the early days when you got good service and great pizza.<br/><br/>Goodbye Cal'cacchio wont be seeing you soon

Willowbridge is always a nice location to go get a meal. But I won’t go to Col’ Cacchio again.<br/><br/>Insanely overpriced!!!<br/><br/>I made my own salad:<br/><br/>R22 for half an avo!!!<br/>R32 for tuna? But chicken is cheaper than a can of tuna? (R22) What!?!<br/><br/>The staff and service was great, but Col’ Cacchio seriously needs to work on their menus prices!

There's only so much one can do with pasta. I wasn't disappointed neither was I wowed. The pasta was just okay. The drink on the other hand, was really good. I enjoyed it more than I did the food. I will go back to try the pizza😊

Aways a great place to go for pizza none of that sugar sauce crap on your pizza. Had a good evening at col. The restaurant was full and bussing with people. The waiter that served us was very kind and very. Overall experience was good. <br/><br/>Only negative is that the waiter couldn’t tell me what type of Diemersdal wine they serving and when I got my white wine it was still warm. Wine people know you don’t drink good wine with ice but last night I was forced to drink my wine with ice in it. Which was a wine sin.

Great atmosphere for sharing great pizzas with family and friends. Large and small parties work well, and they seem to cater well to varied palates and dietary requirements.

This is one of my favourite pizza places, love the thin base pizza, salads always fresh and tasty, enjoyed the green salad, made our own pizzas with our favourite toppings , simply delicious, cold night out but warm inside sat near the pizza ovens, service was exceptional, waiter very attentive and friendly, will definitely be back

A very nice and stylish interior and a cozy atmosphere. Perfect for those intimate suppers, where the music is in the background but no one has to shout to talk to one another. The staff is very very helpful and quick with serving. 👍<br/><br/>Had the cappuccino as per usual. Good presentation and great tasting. Not that strong but has a rich, dark golden froth, and it goes down very easy...especially after a long day at work. 👍<br/><br/>For mains I ordered a half-half pizza. With half chicken and avo, and half tomato and meatballs. The presentation is perfect, as is expected from such a famous brand, and the taste was divine. Very nice! Definitely recommended!<br/><br/>For dessert I had the Italian kisses. Three flavours of ice cream covered in a chocolate dip. 'Nough said.<br/>👍

As regulars this was the worst experience to date. Poor service, in experience waiter and very average food. For the price we will not be back. The restuarant was empty which is unusual, no Pernoni draft and no Leaped Leap Shiraz. I had to get my own ice and the pizza was average. I did not too but my family felt bad for the waiter. Very disappointing. Where are the owners and managers?

Friendly staff and great grub. Really enjoyed the half and half pizza option. The Mexican flavoured one was a win. Really loved how well the strawberry daquiri was blended too 🙌

The pizza was great as usual and sitting outside and dining was lovely. Their new profiteroles desert is delicious as well. Would have rated it higher if we didn't have to get up to ask the waiter for our bill.

Haven't been to this branch for a long time and was sadly disappointed with the terribly poor service I received today. Started off with 3 waiters asking to take our drinks order - with none of them bringing anything until we reordered with the 3rd one. Eventually ordered and service was quick with great pizzas. But that's where it stops. We sat and watched our waiter have his lunch at the bar. We had finished eating and waited for 12 minutes until a different waiter came and cleared. The waiter after finishing his lunch, then preceding to chat to his friends finally made an appearance at our table. Telling him about our disappointment of his service he explained it by saying he was working a double shift and had to eat. <br/><br/>Paid the bill and on leaving passed by 2 managers having a meeting nearby the bar - their excuse was - they sent another waiter to clear our table because he 'saw' we were 'staring' at them and that the waiter we had was one which was giving them problems. Really? How's that my problem? <br/><br/>Such a pity that service, or rather lack thereof, can spoil a good meal. I won't be back.

Met up with a friend for a quick catchup,and seeing that we didn't have the biggest appetite, and she is vegetarian, we opted to share a Vegetariano Margherita pizza, with a gluten free base 😒 let's just say, I found it VERY average. Obviously the standard tomato, garlic base, but I haven't found a place that has a gluten free base that doesn't have a cardboard texture. Slightly chewy. And with minimal ingredients, I can't say I enjoyed it. But that's obviously not the restaurants fault..after that, I had some Italian kisses for dessert. Light, creamy, lollipops of chocolate. The service was friendly, and the location is great. Next time, I'll be resorting back to my Butter chicken pizza.

This is my local dine in branch and I have never been disappointed. Great place to go as a couple or a group of friends even birthday celebrations. Great cocktails and milkshakes.<br/><br/>Pizzas, pastas and their salads are delicious. I usually have the bolognaise and hubby has a pizza.

We went to Col'Cachia last night and unfortunately our focaccia was cold, my wife's pizza was cold, and they got my order wrong, so I waited a long time for my pizza.<br/><br/>Having said that, the manager was fairly prompt in attending to the situation when he was called, and he very graciously gave us our entire bill on the house.<br/><br/>I didn't get the manager's name, but he has restored my faith in customer service, so we will be returning to try again, as the pizza's, though cold, were delicious!<br/><br/>

Eaten at this col cacchio a few times . Not a huge fan but it's not to bad . The pizza is semi decent . Service is good . Bit of a mad house at peak times . Always order the morituri . Sometimes tasty sometimes not . Guess the quality varies on a day to day basis lacking that constant consistency .

Always my go-to for great pizzas, pastas and especially salads! Surprisingly enough I always order a salad! My favourite being anything with bacon, brocolli or even their beetroot and butternut salad! Service is pretty good unless you're going on a busy day. Expect to pay a bit for their food as they are above average in terms of menu pricing.

We initially planned for the hussars grills and lemon butta but ended up deciding to go for this restaurant. Col Cacchio didn't let us down either way. One of the most memorable experiences we ever had as a team. We came in here for a get together with our bosses and colleagues. We took 2 wine bottles, 2 pints of draft beers, 2 Coluhas, 1 coluha with ice cream and some really good inferno prawns and peri peri pizzas. Some brilliant service and awesome time. We would he back for more some time soon.

This where one goes to buy one of the world's best pizzas, not only because they are Italian but because they are generally good at what they do. The pizzas are loaded with great taste, great quality and great love. From the waiters to the kitchen staff it is always a pleasure visiting. The new look of the restaurant is also breath taking, neat and clean.

This place has it's moments of greatness then it also has its disaster moments. On a good day i would definitely recommend it as the staff is attentive and remembers your orders and constantly come check on you but on a bad day it's quite the contrary. Bad service especially at the dinner rush. Waiters constantly forgetting patrons, getting orders wrong and boy let me say I was not the only one getting the raw end of the stick. We ended up sharing angry(Hangry) glances and even exchanged a few words of exasperation when the manager finally came to apologize. Approach with caution cause you never know, you might be there on a bad day.

TERRIBLE.<br/>My dad and I came here for pizza and left hungrily disappointed. After having three waiters come and go in the span of ± 20min, we received drinks alone. From placing our order we waited a further 70 (ish) minutes before deciding to leave. Staff bumped us and didn't give so much as an apologetic glance and were rather shabby mannered. They also have a poor knowledge of the restaurant menu. <br/>But the worst was having our waitress stare awkwardly as we walked off.

Went on a cold Wednesday night with the parents because we craved some pizza and pasta. When you walk into the place you are greated with a warm ambience from the waiter. The place was busy but we got a table immediately. The waiter was friendly and even though they were busy the food arrived in no time. I had the half and half smokey babe and moghul. Which i would recommend to anyone, as well as the morituri and nacho libre is also a great choice.

Went for an early dinner and shared a "half and half" pizza. The one half was incorrect, but the waiter quickly resolved this issue. I would recommend the smokey babe pizza with pulled pork. If you're not in the mood for pizza then opt for one of their jam packed salads. There's lots of space for dining indoors and on the balcony if the weather is warmer. <br/>

Fast and friendly service. The salads are amazing, my personal favorite is the carpaccio one. Pizzas are always a winner, improved by the fact that there is a half half option available.

A very nice, relaxed vibe with an outside play area to keep the kids busy. The pizzas are always declious and the service fast and friendly. This is differently our favourite Col' Cacchio branch....just in a class of there own!

Just popped in for a take-away... Only pizza franchise worth any time in my opinion. They are not cheap, but Col Cacchio delivers consistency and quality every time. Their staff are always very friendly and accommodating.

Insanely expensive on their drinks, so beware. They do offer corkage, so best to bring your own wine.<br/><br/>Pizzas are good with some amazing options and combos. Do try the option to go half-half with your selection and cover 2 pizzas on one plate.<br/><br/>There is a kiddies play area outside as part of the Center, so your kids can play on the 2 jungle gyms.

Col'cacchio is always great, but Reggi at Willowbridge makes it extra special especially after the drive from GP even if the Puttanesca at Lynnwood Bridge in Pretoria is better. Note to all branches: please pickle the chillies rather than using fresh ones that go limp. But above all: Reggi at Willowbridge in Durbanville rocks!

Really nice pizza spot. Love the Col' Cacchio menu. Had a salad - found a slug in the lettuce - not that bad - but wasn't happy with how the manager handled it. Have been back since and been pleased with their pizza's. Good atmosphere. Service good. Staff friendly.

Finally! Decent banting pizza at a decent restaurant! Was very pleased to see the recent menu update and the pizza was fantastic. Family enjoyed a Cobb salad which looked great, but serving size for spaghetti bolognaise always a hit and miss. <br/>Definitely a return restaurant and grateful for the new options!

Visited the Colcoccio at Wiillowbridge centre.. It was lovely.<br/>Sat at the bar until a table was ready. Great atmosphere. The pizza was great. I do think that the salads are over priced though.. Service was quick.

The waiters are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the Pizza was below standard in my opinion. The bases where soft but their toppings where lovely. Personally I think they would benefit to having their pizzas in the ovens for another 7 minutes or so.

The service is always friendly and efficient. The restaurant is always busy and parents can relax while the kids play outside. We had the Green Genie and Cape Funghi pizzas. Excellent! Good choice if you don't like cheese on your pizza.<br/>We had the Arrosto and Foressta pizzas. It was excellent. The choc brownies is excellent as well.

Had to wait sranding at a bar for 40mins for a table... when we finally got a seat at the bar and a glass of wine we had to get up to be taken to the table. We had an amazing waiter who knew the menu like the back of his hand! Food was great as usual, but the wait started the night off an a huge low.

Absolutely love their salads especially as you can add your own choices. The kids can play outside where you can see them- a bonus. My kids love their spag-bol.

Everyone knows that they do pizza. What I enjoy most is the adoption of Banting and gluten free or low gluten pizza bases. One downside is that when it's busy they sometimes burn your pizza or at least it tastes burnt.

It's difficult to go wrong with a Col' Cacchio, and this one is no exception.<br/>There is seating inside, outside at the front and the back.<br/><br/>The pizza is reliably good as expected, and the service is pretty standard and the staff are friendly and relaxed. The restaurant is often quite busy and there is a good atmosphere.<br/><br/>Just outside the restaurant, are two jungle gyms for those that have little ones to entertain. The parking above ground is usually quite full but there is plenty of underground parking.

Been coming here for over a year now....consistent in their service and the quality of food is always good. Manageress thinks too much of herself however, but waiters are really top. Would recommend.

Average. If you have ever been to Italy, do not expect the same otherwise you will be disssipointed. I like the idea of enjoying a half-half pizza.

Went here for my birthday with my girlfriend, we sat for awhile then someone finally came to take our order, we got the food and the drinks after awhile as well... But the food and drinks was very pleasant and enjoyable, after we finished eating we asked for the pizza to take away and it was never brought back we had to go look for it, but 1 unpleasant day doesn't make it a bad place, I'd go there again!

This is by far the best pizza in cape town. I have eaten at col cacchio many times and not once was i disappointed. There Pizza is Amazing a thin base with a perfect amount of toppings.

Best pizza in Cape Town! And now that they have a range of banting pizza's, I'm very happy. Great quality and the banting pizza's are very filling and come with a great salad. The pizza's are smaller than the regular base (21cm) but it's so filling and stacked with toppings. Yummmmmy!

Was out with a work colleague for dinner and the resturant had a great vibe so we stopped in. i tried a salad and was very impressed, the salad was not lettuce leaves and cucumber like most salads but was filled with chicken and vegtables. My colleague tried the cheese cake and while it was quite small was vey tasty. Service was very slow but our waiter was great. Overall had a good meal and would definitely come back.

Nice Banting style pizza, really good service but menu on the pricey side, not great value for money but the waiters are top notch, and make it a pleasant experience. Well done

Arguably one of the best places to enjoy the perfect thin crust pizza. Definitely not cheap and can become quite pricey for a quick pizza supper before going to the movies! But the menu has many gourmet pizza choices to select from, all with high quality toppings. Service is always top notch and the waiters are very professional and they know their menu items very well. They currently run a half price special on all their pizzas untill end Aug 2014, which makes it unbeatable and I have already visited them a few times over the last few weeks. Today was no different and I organized a lunch with a friend we had a Coffee R19 each and two Castle Lights R22 and a Carne Pizza (R103 less 50%) as well as my all time favourite Arrosto with Asian deboned rib (R99 less 50%) - full marks for both pizzas. Other very impressive food are their salads. A must eat and perfect for a lunch outside in the sun. Keep up the good work!

Oh man!!! It was a really, really beautiful sunny warm day to eat out on your porch and indulge in pizza's that just tasted delicious! I was there with a friend and we each had the half and half option whereby we could mix our pizza choices... Best! Yum! We also enjoyed the scenary of nature and tranquility and the waiters are so friendly, funny too. The manager also checked in to see if we were satisfied with the service and had a friendly approach. Awesome,I would definitely come here again. Its so hard not to love this place :-) Thank you

I love Col' Cacchio's!! The pizza is delicious and the combinations just work. I sometimes struggle to decide which one to order, but the great thing is you can do half and half so usually end up tasting two :-). The salads is also great and the pasta yummy.<br/><br/>The service is fast and they are even quick to bring your bill. Oh, and if you are a dessert person, they also have some yummy options on the menu.<br/><br/>In summer they have a lot of tables outside for that summer vibe.
