Love the specialty type sushi chef who makes every effort to make the sushi unique, fresh and distinguishable from any other sushi restaurant. Cozy hidden gem. Lots of parking available. This place is quality over quantity. They only offer small portions without any sort of buffet. Visit this place for quality tasting fish.
Ordered the Tokyo platter expecting some local line fish but they didn’t have in stock. They should mention it before replacing it with something else.

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, Yuz is hands down THE BEST sushi in Cape Town. Always fresh, quality portions, and reasonably priced. Owner and chef, Alan, is a perfectionist and puts every ounce of effort into his craft. Once you’ve tried Yuz, trust me when I say, sushi anywhere else will be a massive disappointment.

Hidden little gem. There is no all-you-can-eat buffet; no buy one get one free. However, if you are looking for quality over quantity, give Yuz Sushi Bar a try. They are the type of place that make you fall in love with sushi. Friendly and humble family run business. I look forward to going back to try more items on the menu.
