One of my favourite restaurants! (You know you love their food when you go three days in a row). I recommend trying absolutely everything on the menu!
The most amazing pure beef hamburger patties. Most definitely one of the best hamburgers I've ever eaten...
Had a light lunch there. The beer battered hake was to die for and that salad............well simply 5*.
Great food, awesome view and the peppermint crisp ice cream is the stuff dreams are made of! Finally a restaurant in the Northern Suburbs worthy of a 5 star rating.

I keep ordering the beer-battered fish and chips, because it's so delicious. The ice creams with interesting flavours and textures are amazing too.
Undoubtedly the food served was cooked with passion, very tasty, reasonable portions and good presentations at excellent prices. The atmosphere is very homely and the personnel extremely welcoming. Highly recommended!

Our first dinner at Bistrot Louis was all and more than it was cooked up to be!
Covid and all, this young man didn't just carry the former 'Arugula' baton with seamless excellence, he won the race by completely transforming this intimate Welgemoed restaurant into a unique feastery that somehow manages to be both elegantly contemporary, yet comfortably welcoming. The food is wholesome, uncomplicated but expertly delicious.

My husband surprised me with dinner here for our one year anniversary and I'm so happy he found Arugula! The service, ambience, wine list, food - all out of this world! I'm still dreaming about the delicious food we had and we will definitely be returning.

For a restaurant tucked around the back of a petrol station it is awesome. The views are also spectacular with the Hottentots Holland in the background and the parking antics of the local Pick and Pay. The food was a delight. Peri peri chicken livers were rich and more'ish.
Really great place..service was great and the food....relaxing music..ambiance really relaxing..had to encourage myself to leave and go work😀
