My surprise birthday party was held there last Sunday. The best time was had by all thanks to the lovely people who served us. The food was excellent. Quality and quantity. Staff are friendly and effecient. Thanks so much for that. I loved the Big Fat Mermaid from the first time I had been there and I wished to have my big fat 70th Birthday Bash there. My dream came true. ����
We had an awesome experience at The FAT Mermaid Day Spa. The place was perfect for our small private function. Beautiful venue, friendly and prompt service, delicious and reasonably priced food, laid back atmosphere - just what we were looking for. Definitely recommending the place to more people and looking forward to our next visit

Visited The Fat Mermaid today and absolutely loved the atmosphere, vibe, surroundings, pool and the food was delicious ! Were were given exceptional service by Costa and the waiters �� I will definitely be back !

Beautiful place with a lovely beachy theme, we went during the week so it wasnt full. The food was great my family and I ordered different things and it was all tasty. The pool was clean and blue. Great experience would go there again.
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. There was load shedding yet they were still able to make our food and it was good! The only thing is, with load shedding, they can’t make coffee. However, they informed us about it as we sat down and they quickly made our coffees. The staff were really friendly. As for the food, I really enjoyed my meal! I had a falafel gyro. It’s a nice place to go to if you want authentic Greek food and want to get out of your typical shopping Centre vibe.
Absolutely amazing! This place is such a hidden gem. We absolutely loved the Greek style food here. There Yiros are so delicious. The restaurant is beautiful inside and makes you feel like you're close to the beach. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was fast. Would highly recommend going here
I went there with a friend for brunch. The place has a secured parking lot with a controlled gate.
Positives:
The chicken yiro was really tasty and filling. The chicken was well-seasoned and tender and the other ingredients tasted fresh. The staffs were really friendly.
Negatives:
Their French toast tasted great, but a bit dense. Their fries weren't very crunchy. Our table was quite sticky, even after our waitress had wiped it down again.
Overall, this was a good experience. It had a relaxing and vintage vibe. Their menu is expanding to sushi dishes soon.
Excellent service from our waiter who took good care of us during our brunch. Very vibey decor that makes you feel you are at an exotic location. Can’t wait to go back in summer to try the cocktails and the pool
I found a gem 💎 This place was beautiful we really felt like we at a beach holiday. The food was truly delicious 😋 the place is clean and the fire place just did it for us . There was a girls birthday party 🎉 thy had so much fun 😊 . The accommodation thy have there is simply beautiful 😍 i can't wait to stay there for a night or 2 . A stunning and potentially tranquil place. The music was very loud and the place got crowded. If you want to take it all in go during the week. The cocktails are delicious and the food is fresh and tasty.

The food was incredible, the service was top notch, and the restaurant was beautiful. They have a pool outside that you can swim in or just dip your toes it's like being at a very well catered pool party or a country club
Celebrated my brother's birthday here and what a lovely lunch we had. Beautiful location, sat by the pool in the fresh air. Really good service. Starters were various dips with pita bread, haloumi and zucchini fries. All tasted good. Main I had the beef yiro with haloumi. This was so delish, it came with chips inside the yiro which I found a bit much so just took them out and ate them separately, no problem! My parents had the lamb chops and they loved them and said it was a big portion. We had the baklava for dessert, tasted good but wasn't very fresh. All in all a pleasant experience.
