Parking is a problem but otherwise a very good experience every time we go there
What seemed like the most unlikely place to stay in Beaufort turned out to be a wonderful stay with our amazing host Jacques.
Outstanding breakfast and a must to try his world class Olive Ice Cream! Wow! We're sad we didn't have dinner there too.
Don't know when we'll be through again but if we do we'll be there again.

The hospitality was excellent. Big thanks to the owner for taking us in with no prior booking and helping with shelter against the rain. I would definitely stay over again and recommend the place to anyone.

On our way home from Johannesburg we popped in for supper. Host Edith served us miniature vetkoek with lamb curry for starters followed by hunchback steak done to our choice. Lovely cosy setting.
It is always worth it to spend a night over on your way to Cape town. The owner is always friendly and makes you feel very welcome.
