This padstal is a gem and you can see Jaana has high standards and an eye for detail. In middle of nowhere and a perfect place to stop for a bite and drinks. A very pleasant surprise!
Literally in the middle of nowhere...which is the perfect location for a padstal! Good oasis to pick up a few snacks, get a rest or meet other folks who love the wilderness and a dirt road more than concrete and steel edifices.
Travelling on a long gravel road you know you will pass somewhere a rugged old dirty tuck shop and or a fancy farmstall. This is the latter. Small stop for a light meal or cold drink on the go. Typical creams and soaps as with almost all new "padstalls". Nothing special about this padstad but yet w
A lovely respite from dusty roads! Very modern. We had delicious tea and a toasted sandwich. Also bought some curios. Friendly staff.

Very nice stop with awesome scenery and the best coffee. One of two places you can stop for a bite and coffee in the western part of the Baviaanskloof.
Menu items include toasted sandwiches, homemade pies, quices, burgers, snack platters and a variety of milkshakes and other drinks.

The Baviaans Padstal is one of only three little shops in the Baviaanskloof. You can have something to eat and drink and buy something to remind you of the good time you had in the Kloof.
