A beautiful pub in gorgeous surroundings, first time visiting since the new management.
Food: Very good, although the Yorkshire pudding was from the freezer which is very disappointing, considering the price point of the menu, it’s fairly expensive. (18.95 pork/chicken 20.50 beef) The roast potatoes
Really good Sunday roast and friendly and welcoming service. Dog friendly in the bar and a great choice of beer and lager. Id certainly recommend.
A small but varied menu with lots of vegan and vegetarian options
Really good food. Lunchtime specials of a lighter meal and a drink. Great desserts. We were really warmly welcomed and had great service throughout. I’ll definitely be back.

I popped in for lunch with a friend for lunch a few weeks ago and was so impressed I went for dinner there this evening with my husband. The food was incredible, and it was lovely sitting by the fire.
Last time I ate here was years ago and it was terrible.new ownership has certainly turned it around

Amazing food and lovely place to eat. Lots of seating outside with plenty of shade and a small river runs past too. Great to stop by if you're visiting Cerney House Gardens opposite.
Great place for a drink. I'll try the food next time. Fast, friendly service. The Element Pale Ale is great and my wife was impressed with the Chardonnay. They have a giant bell tent in the courtyard - maybe another day...

The staff are so so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much of a hassle and more than happy to help.
