You deserve 5 star! Seafood platter gor R130 and it was awesome. No oily food service was excellent. We drove from Toti and I spot the place. Will go again.
Table had the Hot beef Natal Curry, Pickled Fish , Fresh Natal Oysters and Chicken Burgers. All in agreement 5* food and service to match. For a strait off the beach lunch at a reasonable price and a great view to boot. A must visit if in Balito

We had the crab cakes for starter to share and then we had the seafood platter. All the food was delicious!! The crab cakes were not bready. The fish was soooo well prepared. Loved the cocktails. Service was excellent. Loving the decor and atmosphere
This is a great restaurant if you wish to be close to the sea sucking on some juicy prawns and enjoying sundowners. They are even dog friendly!
On outer last day in Durban we stopped by the Galley beach bar. I ordered the chicken livers it was so good, definitely recommend it.
The calamari and fish cakes looked amazing too.
It has an amazing view, great lunch spot.

A beautiful view. The seafood platter for one was good at a very good price. My husband ate a chicken burger with a very fancy name. It was pricey, but looked divine and according to him also tasted very well. It was a feast for the eye.
Its always a treat finding a "new place" at a favorite holiday destination! The Galley Beach Bar & Grill definitely caters for the high end, with reasonable prices and not even to mention the superb ocean view!
Calamari and Prawns so fresh and tender, one would think it just came out of the ocean! For the meat lovers, they do cater with prime cut beef, seasoned to perfection! I have to admit, in the past two days, I've been here three times! Exceptional food and the service can't get any better!
P.S- If you are a chilly lover, try their home made chilly sauce! You wont regret it!!
Incredible view, Great service, Real value for money. Nothing beats a great breakfast with a view off dolphins. Wish I could have breakfast here every morning.
Ahh... searching for a great view is not hard with the gallery. Awesome. As for the food, just as great. I guess when they say best seafood in town, they correct. Love the atmosphere, can't got wrong for a great lunch, and some ice cold beers.
I see all of the previous reviews and everyone seems to be complaining about the long wait for their food to arrive. If you read the menu it clearly states that it could take up to 50 mins for your food to arrive as it is made fresh.
Definitely worth the wait, one of the best burgers I've ever had. The view is superb and the service excellent.
All in all a great place to relax and have a fantastic meal.
We went there was no real expectations and as a table of 6. The food was really good on all counts for us. I am vegetarian and there is really only one vegetarian option of the Thai green curry but it was really good. The rest had prawns, chicken ecetera and were not disappointed. Thanks for having us! Our waitress was good too and was really willing to help and offer us more drinks
