Fourth visit, always so good, we always start with the anti-pasto, very generous portion for two people, I had a Focacia with extras of anchovies, artichokes and sun dried tomato, crisp and delicious, Robin had the seafood pizza, he always does! he said it was scrumptious , I then had two scoops of ice cream with extra pouring cream. lovely staff, very comfy seating, a real treat.
Just want to say thank you for a wonderful evening! Staff and manager was the best! Helpful, friendly. The manager had to deal with a guy that had a bit too much and I must say he did his best to resolve the issue. Love the new secure play area.
Our waiter, Rea, was absolutely amazing! He was extremely friendly and gave us the best service we have experienced thus far. The food was really delicious! Thank you Rea for making our night super friendly and serving the 7 of us with such a friendly calm attitude!!!!

What an amazing choice to tantalize all tastebuds. Have always had awesome food, whether it be pastas, steaks, pizzas, or the special Sunday spit braai! And of course Lance (La Nce) the waitron is amazing, as is Mlu the manager!!
I went through for the Sunday lunch and the experience was overwhelming . The staff is friendly, and the food is just amazing. I would suggest everyone to go and experience it for themselves
Often restaurants that cater for kids have below average food and service but La Piazza has managed to tick all the right boxes! Excellent food and service and a lovely play area! One of my favourite restaurants in Ballito!

La Piazza is the epitome of a family friendly restaurant. Not only is the service amazing and thorough, but from the tasty served up meals to the drinks to the kid’s activities.. all I can say it’s a place to pass by and feel right at home. Thanks to Nqobile she made us feel at home and part of the family.
A great place to go when the wind is just too hectic to allow you to be on the beach. The outside kids play area is nice for the kids. Food was also delicious. The only issue for us were that some of the inside "arcade" games were out of order. But otherwise a good experience. The waiters and kids helpers were super helpful and friendly.
This is a gem of a family restaurant in Ballito. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, atmosphere and facilities that were available. The multiple play areas make it so convenient for families that want to enjoy good food with peace of mind that their kids are also having a good time. There are also several child minders and clean toilets and changerooms for those with toddlers and babies. Definitely worth the trip out if you stay in Durban or surrounding areas.
It’s very rare that establishments are consistent with both delivery and in-house dining but I was so blown away by my experience ordering through MrD. The food was early by over 30 minutes, the delivery was done with such care and friendliness from the driver. The food? 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 The chicken was so flavourful and juicy, the pasta was beautifully creamy with mushrooms evenly distributed. The portion size was so generous, could feed two people. Thank you, please keep it up.
Definitely one of my favorite restaurants. food is amazing and the service is very good as well. they have got an amazing outdoor kids play area where the kids have the time of there lives and normally have a staff member there to keep an eye on the kids. If seated outside it is easy to keep an eye on the kids yourself but the area is all closed in so kids cannot get out. There is a nice Chinese restaurant right next door and they allow you to order from there aswell when seated at La piazza if 1 person doesn't feel like Italian they got that option aswell. I highly recommend giving it a try

In June I had my 40th Birthday here too. Lovely Vibe on a Friday evening with a live band. Perfect if you are taking kids, plenty for them to do.

Visited this restaurant at the end of a long work day. What I needed was a cold drink, and easy meal and a welcoming atmosphere. This restaurant delivered on all 3. I had myself a tall draught of beer, the 600g ribs and even some gelato.
The beer was chilled to perfection, the ribs were fall of the bone tender (although they weren't as sweet as what I'm used to) and the gelato was immaculate.
The rest of my retinue had steak, and sea food pasta, based on how relaxed we all became I assume the food went down well.
The atmosphere is good, with enough natural light diffused through the restaurant. The waiters are friendly and on this particularly occasion, there weren't that many people in the restaurant. But I'd imagine it would be quite packed during the holiday season.
Overall, nice restaurant, with good food, and clean bathrooms! If I'm ever in Ballito again I will return to this restaurant.

La Piazza is a great restaurant with great food, but it goes beyond just your base-line experience with how family-friendly it is.
For every time we have been here, the staff is incredible and warm to us and to our child. They're great at anticipating our needs and helping use enjoy our time out as a family.
The food has always been great as well - we have yet to be disappointed.
Delightful experience from the time we walked in. Amazing establishment with secure kiddies play area. Food was worth every cent and more. Gelato bar for the win! Pizza is simply out of this world, re-heated a slice at home and it was perfect, that alone is worth a review on its own. Churros to end of the afternoon.

I and my wife had an incredible experience at LA Piazza. The waiter, Lucky had so much passion for the restaurant. He knew the menu well, and gave us excellent advice and service in choosing what to order. Lucky had great patience, as we didn't really know what to order. This is truly a great family restaurant, great staff, excellent food. A must restaurant to go visit for the whole family.
It is always a pleasure to eat here.The meals are given in a generous portion and the atmosphere is is cosy with wondeful service and the food is absolutely delicious.I recommend a 6 star

It's a lovely restaurant, delicious food and friendly staff. A bit expensive though and their cappuccinos are tiny but yet really good.
