The waiter was really professional and made sure we are satisfied with everything. The food was great, the meat of the ribs fell off the bone, that's how tender it was and the rump steak cooked exactly as requested. I will definitely be going back for more

I've been here a few times, but I never had to wait for seating, but it has its busy times. Lots of tables with lots of seating, always clean, friendly staff. Food is great, but don't expect 5 star cuisine... it's a steakhouse

Had a yummy breakfast there. Wasn't actually at vangate mall in many years , and was very delighted that the Spur there had such a lovely atmosphere . The manager was very friendly and helpful, I think once a month breakfast is a definite must for me going forward .

Spur Vangate exceeded my expectations! The steak was perfectly cooked, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was cozy. A top-notch dining experience. Will definitely be back for more. Ruwayda the manager was most friendly as well as our waitress.

Enjoyed our meal very much... Absolutely loved the music couldn't help bt sing along. Staff could've been a bit more friendly. Loves the manager's interaction wt clients. Our Waitron Wiseman was also very friendly. Overall good experience.

I always enjoy going to Vangate Spur. It feels like home and we've been going there as a family for years now. Aunty Ruwayda is definitely a keeper, as she is always helpful and friendly. I've never ever received bad service here, because when I complained about certain things they would always rectify the situation almost immediately. #1fave

To start up with, we waited to be served for 10 minutes, the waiter did not greet, and introduce himself...the manager didn't even care, she gave us an attitude instead telling us that someone will come and serve us we should wait. While having the meal the waiter did not even bother to come around and ask if we were okay or needed something...we had to ask other waiters for things that we wanted...a lot of things happened all in all I can never come to this spur in vangate mall...#Dissapointed

We visited ur spur recently during Ramadan what a horrible experience. I asked the waiter for water so we can break of fast up till now I'm still waiting. Our food took a hour and half to arrive during this time I got up twice to check on our food all I was told its coming... By this time my kids are nagging they hungry and because after all we got there at 5:30 to place our order so we can break our fast on time and the food would be ready in time never the less the food eventually came ice cold and the waiter was all confused as who's having wat. The manager took my number he will call me in the morning it's 3 days later I'm still waiting no apology from now one.. And we are regulars at ur spur.... Very bad service all round I don't think we will be back very soon.

I would like to commend you for the attitude of the staff. Since February this year, I've been coming to Spur for breakfast every Saturday morning. My sisters, our children/grandchildren walk at Nantes every Saturday and because of busy schedules, we catch up over breakfast. We've always been regulars at Spur and the staff has always been very friendly but there's one waiter in particular that stands out for us. His is Tendai now Taufiq (not sure bout the spelling). This young man is so warm, friendly and efficient to boot. He knows exactly what we all take, what the children orders and keep our cups filled without us having to tell him a single thing! I would definitely nominate him for outstanding/excellent service employee at any given time!

I would like to commend the Manager Ruwayda and waiter Taufeeq for such great service this evening. You dont get Managers like this very often friendly, cheerful checking up all the time if the food is as what we expected it to be....and boy oh boy Taufeeq deserves a medal for waiter of the Year!!!! He will surely get my vote.... we just booked him for every visit to Golden Feather Spur. Awesome service once again Ruwayda and Taufeeq see you guys next week stay humble until then...

The food taste great...however the portions very very small and this is the second time....The food prices increase but the portions get smaller and smaller by the day....its not worth it anymore....�

We're at your restaurant yesterday morning ordering breakfast, your service was prompt but was informed that you will not be able to serve chips with the breakfast as you ran out. I believe all meals are served with chips, and you ran out of your main side serving??, unbelievable.

After a foul experience at another restaurant we ended up here where we received friendly service and great food. Month of Ramadan. Got back from Johannesburg just before Iftar. Opted for Golden Feather to break fast. Was pleasantly surprised. They served a plate of samoosas and a jug of Falooda for their Muslim customers.<br/><br/>Our main meal was a combo platter served with a good size of rump steak with pepper sauce; peri peri chicken breast, french fries and onion rings. Finished off with freshly baked garlic roll.<br/><br/>I am so grateful to the amazing and super fast waiter. He was an absolute star. Our meal was served on time and warm.<br/>

just like i reviewed the other spurs, golden feather still doesn't impress even after family saying golden feather is the better one. service is okay at best.

Four of us pitched up for a bite Saturday evening , waiter was friendly and punctual. We had ribs, burgers , steak and chicken, the usual at Spur. Look Spur is no Michelin restaurant so you know what you getting. Once the cheque came we went to pay and low and behold there was only one till point that was operational which irritated me and the woman in front took her sweet time, once the woman was done the cashier took some one else's cheque and not ours when I intervened and said this is ridiculous and I demand better service..Why would you have one till on a Saturday night ??? I told her this won't happen in camps bay, waterfront or table view etc you get where this is going. Let's just say they should get there affairs in order. I gave a rating of 2.0 for the cashier other than that the food was ok

Ive been to this spur quite a few times in the past and id say everytime was pretty average. We went for supper lastnight and were quite a large group of 12. I dont think they handle crowds well. Our starters got to us promptly however the food itself took longer than 30min to arrive. I get that good food takes time but my stomach was making weird whale sounds you would only hear during mating season. Our waiter who was a real sport unfortunatly got too many things wrong. It seemed like he didnt really listen to the special attention of the order. He was literally all over the place. we decided to go to this spur because its one of the few that is halaal and it was convenient for all but i dont think ill be back. At least not anytime soon. The food was okay when we eventually got it,
