Diamond T - Askham - Photo album

Amazing pie & chips, with a super milkshake. Has become something of an institution, you MUST go here when visiting the Kalagadi Park. The setting is peaceful and relaxing.
Diamond T Coffee Gift and Coffee Shop in Ashkam, the last town before entering the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park 70 kilometers away. Great service, wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. An amazing calm and relaxed environment. A gem in the Kalahari desert.
A wonderful Cafe in the Kalahari. Serves freshly prepared wraps, burgers and toasties, rounding off with the not to be missed, deconstructed milk tart. They also sell homemade, frozen Springbok and lamb pies and some meat and sausage products. A little store with gifts and curios and locally sourced
No, such an oasis! Food super delishious, wonderful ambiance and service and a huge surprise. Please do nor leave without having theur gemsbok pie and milkrart! Buy some interesting items in the shop and take some coffee biscuits home. It was anazing!
This little gem in the Kalahari is worth a visit. Situated right across the road from the last filling station before the Kgalagadi Transfontier Park, it is a super place to have a home made Springbok pie and a coffee while your vehicle is being refuelled. For those who are not keen on eating game,
Best Springbok pie ever. Nice coffee shop with warm atmosphere. Also bought some lovely lamb there
What a delightful place, the food was great and the atmosphere a pleasant surprise.
This is a very cute tea shop at Askham. Food and cake to die for and a ice cold milkshake on a hot day will get you through.
This is by far the Best Milkshake and Milk tart in SA. If you pass through of near to Askham make a effort to go and taste these treats.!!
Good coffee and the milktart ice cream is to die for. A real treat in the middle of the Kalahari.
Best coffee milkshakes and is well known for its great lemon meringue and milk tarts. Really worth a visit if you are hungry or thirsty. Also licensed to sell alcohol of which we did not make use.
The milk tart science can be described in one word: phenomenology. Coupled with a craft beer and some local talent, who in their right mind could complain?
Great little Coffee house and love the food. Will be back
What a gem! Lovely food, clean restrooms and very friendly service. Worh a definite stop!
What a lovely place. We had delicious breakfast and coffee. So much better than Kgalagadi Lodge Restaurant. Wish it was closer to the park! Will visit every time we pass Askham in future. Well done all!
Such a quaint little coffee shop! Very friendly people and simple but great food. Lovely view of the bush with neat gardens. The best Kalahari cappuccino’s I’ve had. A must stop when passing through Askham.
This place is quaint and charming. They sell the most delicious lemon meringue this side if the Orange River. An array of gifts and pretty things, knick knacks and wallets and cottage industry produce. We bought the most divine (but expensive) Camels Milk body cream and lip ice, particularly useful
