Pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff were. Chilli chicken cheese burger was great, as were the spicy chicken nuggets. Jalapeño dip was the perfect addition. They lose a star because part of the order was a coffee, and I waited 10 minutes to get this coffee. The store was not busy. The fries were very average, a bit oily and no flavour/spice. Which is odd because the nuggets were expertly fried. I would order from this branch again.

This is by far the most high tech and quickest service I have received from McDonald's. Once you enter the takeaway, you a greeted by two massive touch screens where orders can be placed effortlessly. Payment is then made by a tap or swipe of you card and within seconds the screen near the counter for collection has your order number. The host at the entrance was friendly and made good small talk whilst I waited. I shortly received my food that had the unique and yummy McDonald's taste I have come to love 🥰

The service was excellent and The person that assisted me was Andile Fumbatha, he is really Good and he is very patient with his customers and he goes out of his way to assist his customers. Whenever he is not around I can tell cause no one knows me like Him and he is always happy.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Sandisiwe; the lady who was our cashier is the sweetest person ever, and she gave my mom and I excellent service. Thank you so much to all the staff - you are all wonderful people!

I have 5 stars for a service provided by Yanda. Without Yanda this branch would be nothing. She is basically the most welcoming, helpful and loving. Today she is off, and for the first time I was served a food without a drink and I was told that I needed to order sugar for a cappuccino separately. 🙆🏽‍♂️🙆🏽‍♂️🙆🏽‍♂️🙆🏽‍♂️ yoooh shame.

It's been a while since we've been to a Mcd's and I was not disappointed. The service was good, a bit slow perhaps, and the food on standard.

The place is clean, the staff is really friendly.

This is the best McDonald's i've ever been in no need for ques, theres self service machines you pay then wait for an order.

It provides a good service and the food is delicious. The waiters are very friendly to kids and the place even supplies toys

I received very good service with self service terminals to save queue times. Restuarant setup is very fresh and nice.

Great seafood platter for 1, terrible sushi platter for 1, all rice, avo and cucumber almost hardly any salmon and tuna.........the tuna that there was, was almost black in colour!!! The price of beer is disgusting R27 for 330ml bottle and then it's not even cold!!

After waiting 15min to be seated, which is fine because they were busy, we had to wait an hour and a half for one sushi platter of about 20/24 pieces. Only one platter, no starters, no serious mains, no desserts... One platter! And when I asked about it, I was told it is being made...while I am standing at the sushi bar looking at the two rolls made and the salmon still being cleaned of its "grey" skin. Seeing that our platter was 90% salmon we would have waited another 20min probably. Unacceptable! We paid our drinks and left. Not enough waiters for the amount of people...especially over the holiday season... By far the worst service we have ever experienced!!

Went to ocean basket Galleria yesterday Sunday 26/11/17..firstly the waitress was stubborn and not welcoming at all..the aircons don't work. Places an order , the waitress told us that the order will be with us in 25 mins , after 45 mins we enquired about the order which was still not ready ..people that came after us , got their food ate and left , we were still waiting for our order..the waitress didn't even come to our table and tells us there's a delay in our order. So we called for the manager..he said that he will have our order by us in 2 mins time but it took like 10 mins to get to us ..we called for him again and we insisted that we be accommodated with extra drinks for our long wait ..he looked rather shock but send us the drinks..we never tipped the waitress because of the bad service ,would never recommend this place to others

Good food but waiting 2 hours is unacceptable. I was OK with our waiter as the kitchen problems he can't be blamed for but blatantly blaming everyone and then telling me when working out the tip, (we never tip less than 10%) that I must remember slow service and food is not his fault just tipped me over the edge. Slow to serve our drinks, slow to take our order and just basically ignoring our table. Almost gave him nothing but I know what an unforgiving job it is. Way to many tables, not enough chefs and only asking your table once if they want anything to drink, shocking. I won't be going back again.

I have always loved the Ocean Basket. Their food is Devine and yes a bit slow but then I'd rather have my food cooked for me not just pre cooked and warmed up. The staff was great and my "queenly" never disappoints. Regretfully Lucky was night off because he is top of the tops in waiters. so go there not in a hurry, have a good chat, enjoy great food, and don't forget the sticky toffee pudding!! ��

We arrived, sat down and Lindy served us. We have had good service there before but this time we could not fault their service. We placed our order - fish and prawn combo and I was still contemplating ordering sushi but before I could our food arrived. The fish was fresh. When I asked for vinegar it was quickly brought to us. Once we had finished eating I asked for wet wipes. Lindy brought them to us and opened the packet to give to us. This is the first time this has ever happened to us. What excellent service!!!

Wow had an amazing meal. Ordered the monkfish and stir fry veg. Best piece of fish I have had in a long time. I am always wary of fish � because I worry about bones. Ate every morsel and not a single bone. Yum yum yum.

The fish was so thin. The chips was thicker than the fish. There was no salt and pepper on the table. I had to go fetch salt and pepper from another table. The waitor was no where to be seen.

Your food has really deteriorated - and why does the waiter disappear ...without explanation and you have to start finding another?

Date night is always a winner Ocean Basket, Galleria. We arrived at a clean and organised store and welcomed warmly. We were seated immediately and attended to by a friendly and proficient waitress who actually introduced herself and knew her products. Our drinks arrived quickly, as did our correct order - great tasting and well prepared. We were "checked- up" on at intervals, twice by the waitress and a third time also by a manager, ensuring we didn't need anything. Well done Management and all staff of Ocean Basket Galleria. You guys rocked last night at peak hour in a mall (Friday night 7 - 8pm) � Definately one of my fave places xxx

Ocean basket Galleria is contributing to the crime in this country.... By robbing people of their hard earned cash. And that sack of shit of a manager still wants to return back the same plate of food after shoving his dirty fingers into it and insisting that calamari cajun should taste like perfume.... Not on.

I always enjoy myself there but i had a different experience yesterday. The waiter was all over after i requested sauces from him. He only came back when i had so little food left. My appetite for desserts was killed.

Service from the waitress wasn't great, they didn't bring the sauce with the food and we waited forever for the bill. Only reason I'll give it a 3 and not a 1 is because the African manager was very friendly and helpful �

I love my seafood ,I loved the Cajun fish ,it was very tasty .friendly staff ,a variety of dishes to choose from .affordablr and yummy.

I had lunch there yesterday the hake had way to many bones, I complained to management but he said it is normal this was the first time I had this experience I've been eating OBs food for many years.The waiter was very good though.

The worst ever. We travel through the country and are regulars at different O Baskets. Sorry this visit was our worst experience ever. A no go for me thank you

It was my frst time and the waiter was okay just that when he came with our order he had to take a bill to the tablet with our order and we did not like it at all but the good was okay just that he ad to take a bill to that tablet with our good on his hand that not a good service

The only issue for me was the rice it was not properly cooked.i dnt want to complain cause either than that everything was good i enjoyed bt that rice please guys i know you can do better than that

We did have some problem with our order other than that I enjoy my meal. The calamari was delicious. Next time I'm coming to KZN I'm definitely coming back to ocean basket

I always go to Ocean Basket cos the seafood is made to perfection and the service is excellent just the way I love it.
