Four years back my girlfriend and I celebrated her birthday at the Lodge. We had warm welcoming from the staff. They were all incredibly helpful and generous with their time and recommendations. Nestled on the banks of Orange River, Aliwal North.The Lodge offered the finest food that tickled my pallet simultaneously taking in a mind refreshing view from the magnificent deck which overhangs the river. Amenities like the pool area not to mention a few just added the cherry on top.

Bugers are really worth it, menu very small, but food is great.service is self service, bar service was great! Its on the river side, very peaceful..

The rooms were clean and comfy and the staff very helpful and friendly.
I only stopped by on my way through but the facilities, vibe and service was friendly, welcoming and a real treat. I really enjoyed browsing their wagyu produce.

This lovely Lodge on the banks of the Orange river at Aliwal North, Eastern Cape, is a must visit to all tourists passing through or visiting Aliwal North for vacation or weekend breakaway for the whole family or business..
The view is spectacular, kids and adults sufficiently entertained.. The food and service exceptional

Ideally positioned just over the old bridge as you enter the town from the Clarens side. Great views over the Orange River from the restaurant deck. Nice gardens with a kids play area. Staff were all friendly and helpful, rooms were clean neat and comfortable. Quite a few other bikers were staying over, safe off-street parking directly outside your units.
Stopped for a quick meal while travelling through. The food was a bit overpriced for it's mediocrity, but the service was friendly, the grass is lush and green with a little kids play area (screaming kids). The view is great and possibly the best place to enjoy a good meal and experience of the Orange river.
Service at riverside is so amazing your place is so neat and clean👌👌
