Hearty food, great atmosphere and good service. Liked the cocktails and the platters are good. Steaks and home cooked type food are very good
The food was definitely great and the portions are great as well. The service was just as great, friendly staff. My only negative was that the DJ at the time we were there played the music too loud that I couldn't hear the person next to my chatting.

This is n nice place to sit, have a beer and a snack basket. Their food is very delicious, but could do with more sauce on the chicken schnitzel I had for the price they charged.
Their staff also needs more training. We were neglected many times and orders did not come right.
The high light of the Tuesday evening was their Quiz Night. Pre booking is necessary. You play in groups of 6 with your friends while having a beer.
The quiz master ask category related questions and groups swap answers for marking. The highest score wins the prize.
Went to Shamrock last night to go and order take aways for my family... I was friendly greated by the door and did not wait long for my drink. I decided to go sit at the bar because I don't want to occupy a table . I am a smoker, the bar guy on duty did not over me a astray, had to go get one on another table but then came a bar client and he received an ashtry because he was a bar client . I am so so happy and satisfied with Vincent's service. Will come again and be served by him . The food is excellent!!!!*

The pub is good, but food I had there was not good. I had a "tullamore rumpsteak" and the meat and also the fries where not tasty. Four stars just for the drinks and music.

Good place to sit down and have a drink, eat some food, and participate in weekly social activities such as quiz nights and bingo. Staff are sometimes a little slow to react. Bathrooms can be a bit crowded, especially on busy hours
